I've a Xperia Mini pro Sk17 and I'm Android noob, I'm using this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1991371
I have a problem with that, every time I organize my apps in folder and restart, most of them desappear, I've noted that there are few apps that keep in the restart....
What should I do to solve this, I wouldn't like to change rom because I'll have to install again all of my apps... Sorry for my bad english accent.

This happens because the apps which disappear are on your sd card. The ones which remain are on internal storage. Try moving some apps from sd to internal storage and then see if they disappear.

Sounds like the dalvik-cache and data part of the app's doesn't get nuked when you uninstall. I don't know if it's done automaticly by the system or what but you're looking for this - I think:
In /data/data there would be a folder by the name of the app packagename, containing the app's data. In /data/dalvik-cache there would be a file with the packagename as a part of the filename.
The apk's reside in /data/app or /data/app-private.
Ofcause you'll have to be rooted to manipulate those things directly. How did you uninstall these app's?

tux1n, thx for help,
I had unistalled by application of the x10 mini pro.
I had instaled yesterday the link2sd, and after move some applications, have free memory near 100MB, but i dont know if the problem persist.
I will seee this folders and i response here.
Thx a lot.
Happy to help i've started digging a little in the issue, cause i think i recall having the same problem at one time. I'll post here what i find out.

it could be ur trying to delete preinstalled apps??
in any case, get linktosd, nice way to keep ur internal memory by creating a partition on the sd card
You might have noticed that we're talking about a specific issue when removing normally downloaded and installed apps through the stock app manager
Anyway - you're completely right - link2sd really kicks ass both when it comes to saving space and to avoid having to keep download apps when flashing etc.

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini.
With a custom rom MiniCM7.
I have that rom for quite some time and liked it a lot.
Although today my apps that I installed are all gone.
Also the market place.
I tried to reinstall the market place but it doesnt appears.
When I look at my app list I see the app "com.android.vending" what is the market place if I am right.
Although I can't unstall it or open it (it also doesnt display the market icon).
How can I unstall or reinstall the market.
Please help, my phone is nothing without apps
Thanks for advance!
When I reboot my phone in recovery.
I can go to "backup and restore".
Then I click on "Advance Restore".
Then I press on the date when I installed my custom rom.
I have the following options:
Restore boot
Restore system
Restore data
Restore cache
Restore sd-ext
Will one of those restores help to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Is it possible that you switched SD card? Maybe all the apps were moved there automatically by Cyanogen?
Thanks for response both!

Well how will I be able to get root explorer without the market on my mobile?
I downloaded the market .apk file.
When I open it my phone is going to reboot (happens at the moment he tries to install it).
Also for the root explorer you need to pay, is there also some free one?
Or is it also able to do it from my PC (while my mobile is connected with USB)?

I haven't switched from SD card since I using the custom rom.
When I look at the application list and search for "com.android.vending" i see it with a dark gray android icon (not the market icon).
Within that icon also at the bottom right a smaller icon with standing "SD" on.
The application takes 204kB.
With a Cache of 4.99Mb that I cant clear.
I already tried to put my SD card out and in again.
Although my SD card seems to work fine, I can find all my pictures, music, etc on it.
EDIT:
I seem to still have version: MiniCM7-2.1.1
While there is already a version: MiniCM7-2.1.4
Would it solve the problem if I update the version by using the recovery?
So also again a "wipe data/factory reset".
Then "apply update from sdcard".
And after that Flash gapps.
Will this maybe solve the poblem?
Alright I solved it.
I updated the kernel from nAa-3 to nAa-6.
I also updated the ROM from CM7-2.1.1 to CM7-2.1.4 into recovery (so also "wipe data/factory reset").
And then it all was solved.
I want to thank you two guys for your time, and yes I pressed the thanks button at both of u
Greetings,

I had exactly the same problem, apparently CM moved all my apps to SD with me asking. It does so automatically.. See my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1361073
I just can find anything that will work for me, tried everything, but it appears that GingerDX 12 is the most stable and fastest for me.
With all due respect to the developers, sometimes it seems that with every new release about the same amount of bugs are introduced as fixed..
Glad you got eyerything running...
Anyways Here's the direct link for root explorer and its free :

Good morning.
I´m having problems with my xperia neo v, since i unlock the bootloader i can use the google navigator with any rom.
I tried with miui and cm7 with the same results, when i start this application the phone restart.
I install another gps navigators ( Trials version ) and it works fine, so i think that isn´t hardware problem.
Can´t somebody help me with this issue please??
Thanks in advance
May be Google doesn't support your country for navigation check list of available country for navigation with Google maps.

Did you tried to delete 'android' folder on SD card?
Maybe some resources (cache etc) are not compatible with new Gmaps app.
Try to copy all important data on PC then format SD card and reinstall gmaps from market.
Also, you may try delete maps apk from /system/app keeping it only in /data/app
Hi everybody.
I tried to format the sd card with the same results.
Actually i try installing the ICS and it works fine.
Thanks you very much for your answer!!!!!!!
First of all, I would like to say thanks to all the developers for all their hard work to make our mini phones better and better everyday. At present, I am using my x10 mini pro with minicm9-3.0.2 installed and in working condition.
I do notice some problems related to battery drain and other issues concerning usb tethering with windows PC as already discussed in older posts. And I believe that these issues would be resolved in future versions of minicm9.
However, the most dreadful thing for me while using my x10 MP is the inability to install my favourite apps due to shortage of internal memory. I didn't have the same problem when I was running minicm7 as I used link2sd app to link all apps to sdcard.
But now, from the time I've installed the latest ics rom, my most favoured app 'link2sd' seems 'out of order'. I don't think there''s any problem with the app, but, I'm frequently notified about low internal storage even after creating links to sd card. I had over 120 apps installed and linked to sdcard '2nd partition' earlier with minicm7 whereas now I have only managed to install about 20 apps. There's another thing that I've noticed. The apps that's been linked to sd crashes on its own and this problem is resolved as soon as the link is removed.
So, somebody please help me out of this situation.. (APP2SD is not the answer I'm looking for)
app2sd is the first thing you should do. because the difference between link2sd and app2sd is only the dex files. that means, even with all the dex files, you can install up at least 50 apps using original Android app2sd.
I believe the cm9 has not solved this problem yet. I have also read all the post online and in the developers form. no one talked about this bug.
The apps linked by link2sd will be automatically move back to internal memory while starting system (before asking PIN). it says:
Android is upgrading...
Optimizing application x of xx
Im screwed
IF I KNEW ABOUT LINK2SD ISSUE, I WOULDN'T HAVE FLASHED ICS (MINICM9) ON MY W8, IM SCREWED...
Hello everyone,
My friend has a Lenov3 P780 with just the original
Android 4.2.1 stoch firmware. The problem is that if my friend places apps on the homescreen and after that move one of the apps to his sd card. The app is missing from the homescreen. And even if my friend places them back to the homescreen after moving to sd card, after a reboot they are all gone. It only shows the apps on the internal memory. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance

This is some kind of bug. Your friend has updated the system since he got the phone? Try to update and then try again.
Or try to use a custom program to see iff thiss thing is happent again.
