I like the one called jump. The tablet with the keyboard acts literally just like a laptop. Really good program

+1 for jump. I just started using it and it seems to work well.

Because it sucks on the TF300. No scroll bars on the ipad but 1024x768 will not show the full screen and you have to scroll. :banghead:
Still Charged Up
I've been using Jump Desktop since it was first released and it is very responsive. There is hardly any lag at all. I even use it with my phone over 3g and responsiveness is still very good.
+1 for Jump Desktop.

Is there any possibility (or app) to change the function of right click of our touchpad? In stock, it's like "back" button and i think it would be much better if it works as long press

I was wondering the same thing especially when using a remote desktop app.

Remote RDP supports it. And a few others I think, but Remote RDP was the best for me.
But this app won't work in our prime? I mean in stock browser, polarise and so on

Not yet, however I wonder if you can edit the keyboard.kl file or whatever and change the input from back to menu. Never thought of that....

It might depend on the app? Certain ones don't do anything, but certain ones do bring up the "long press" menu. Doesn't go back anymore, though.
I just bought the Tegra 3 version of shadowgun from the market but every time I try to download the game files I get an error and told I need to check my internet connection. I know a lot of you guys have shadowgun did you have any trouble getting the game files? If so how did you fix it?
thanks
Steve
i had no problem installing it.
are you connected to wifi prior to opening the game? are you leaving the tablet awake so the wifi does not disconnect?
Try reinstalling shadow gun and rebooting. If your rooted use titanium backups option "reboot device"

Hi
Thanks for the replies. My WiFi is on and connected. I can download other apps and browse the net no problem. I've tried resetting the transformer. I even tried hard resetting it. Still the same problem.
I just tried to install galaxy of fire 2 and it says a file read error has occurred. Could the two problems be related?
I have installed deadspace and it downloads and runs no problem.
Thanks
Steve

Nope still no fix. I wonder if we got a copy of the game files from some one with the game working and put them into the correct folder on our transformers then at least we'd be able to play the game until a proper fix can be found?
I just got my tablet on Fri and it took me a few mins to work out how to post a new topic but you touch the menu button at the bottom and select new topic.
thanks

I'm not sure about directly from tablet, but you could probably play it from your comp using Splashtop THD
Have not tried it myself though.
Even with Splashtop, it's a bit hard since you can't really "aim" with a mouse, as in the view doesn't follow the cursor.
Try splashtop gamepad THD, its made for Tegra Devices and is made for playing games. I think it tracks the mouse continuously

so far, i believe only a vnc tool would work, and thats is if your computer is set up for it. I am able to play starcraft 2 through VNC (i use androidVNC in the market) from school but i havent tried minecraft.

i can use the touchpad while playing to look around (but not while moving lol) and choosing items and using items
It works via splashtop HD trackball mode with a few modifications to the control layout.
Has anyone tried the updated 7.0 version of Google Earth with 3D maps? I have tried 3 times and when I open a 3D map it crashes my whole tablet. The first time the app actually uninstalled itself, never had that happen on Android before. I have to say, this is the first real trouble I have had with an app on this tablet.

Did that and it worked, thanks man. It runs better and doesn't crash anymore, but really slows down my tablet after use. I am guessing it is a real ram hog. When trying to kill it, it didn't come up under advanced task killer app list, I had to go into settings/all apps/earth and force close.

Tried it on wifi connection. It's quite laggy and obviously not well optimized yet. I think I wasn't active enough at zooming because of slow connection (see post above) and those lags didn't show up... So for now I don't think it's usable in 3D buildings mode. I'll wait for an update.

The app actually doesn't recognize the ps3 controller as a gamepad AFAIK. You will need to create touch emulation profiles through the Sixaxis app. I have only got Lego batman since it was free when I got the app for my nook color, the profile I made works great on it. Couple weeks ago I wanted to buy dark siders but it wouldn't let me since I'm not in the continental usa. You might be able to do keyboard emulation too for some games, the ones that have keyboard bindings.

Do you have the games from Online (or the full app) in a _terrible_ quality and resolution? Mine seems like it would be a 480p app with bad quality.. And it can't be my internet since it's 100mb/s and full bars on the wifi.
Yeah, the games look much better on my xperia play
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
I think quality issue might be related to the resolution it streams the games at, that's why it looks better on smaller screens. Anyways I'm just speculating here, has anyone ran the app on another 10 inch tablet with better quality?
