LOVVL we cannot understand your post .
Are you asking should you repair it that's your choice .to make
If you are saying is it worth a repair or have you done more damage only a service centre can say .

Why would you want not to repair it? No display, sim not working, I don't see the point of asking a question

Just don't flash more than 5 times per day through odin , otherwise it's unlimited in recovery

No , the Galaxy Ace will just notify you by showing a phone in front of a warning triangle

You need to make sure which to try and which not to try (e.g. doing drugs)

forgot the passcode :S

hello all,
i imported a phone from UK and the person i bought it from was dump enough to put a pattern lock on the phone, i tried contacting him but he is very stupid to answer the call. Is there any way through which i can hard reset the phone or do anything to get over the passcode?
i don't have the guys email id and password due to obvious reasons.
You could go into recovery mode and wipe data/cache basically factory resetting the phone.
Get into recovery by powering off the phone and pressing the following volume down+home+power.

Try flashing a stock Rom with Odin.
Have a look for the guides in these forums.

Wouldn't help as settings and setup don't get changed so pattern security would still be intact.

I went into the recovery by holding volume up+home button+power key and wiped data, now everything is good

It's hard for someone who doesn't know how to get around a pattern lock
mikep99 didn't help a burglar, because everything he said could be found if the OP had spent 5 minutes searching the forums. The answer for everything is here already. Sometimes one needs to add 1 + 1, but the answer is there.

Return to factory defaults.

Bricked my HTC amaze :(

I was helping a friend root and update his Amaze to ICS and the software flashed the controlbear files into the SD card but it didn't work so i put the SD in my Amaze and tried to format it but all of a sudden it turned off. Now whenever I connect it to the USB the System starts to find a driver for "QHSUSB_DLOAD". The phone is not even charging. Can anybody help?

Try the Amaze unbrick project. You can find it in development section, but it's kinda weird how it happened when you just tried to format it :/

If I successfully unbrick the phone, why do I still have to take it to a phone repair center? Can't I flash a Rom again and wouldn't it be okay? Sorry for asking too many questions I'm still a noob at this stuff
