Hello,
I found a problem with my keyboard.(no, I'm not rooted. used to be rooted) sometimes after lock screen then when you unlock again, you can type on the keyboard. It feels like you are really typing, but the words dont appear even after typing. I turned off and on phone but did not work. I flashed back the stock firmware again and it can now work. But unfortunately, i still can't type again.
Here are the info about my phone:
Model number: GT-I9300
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version I9300DXLH1
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-928452-user
#1
SMP PREEMPT Tue Jul 31 19:37:49 KST
2012
Build Number: IMM76D.I9300XXBLH1
I would appreciate anykind of tip or help. Thanks for taking your time to read my post!!
try a hard reset , before that do make a backup . for hard reset you can key in *2767*3855#. once you key in this you cannot undo . so please make a backup. this will wipe everything from your phone . it won't do any wipe to memory card.
thanks(I can't find the thanks button)

Many users have tried this on the CM10 thread. To make it work you have to edit the build prop in someway to make the phone think it's an sgs3. I haven't done it myself but users are reporting successful installations. Search CM10 and CM10 unofficial threads for details.

i got it to work on paranoid .52 (cm 10,4.1.2)
gallery was ok but in camera when i went to sphere and cld use it,but when i took a bunch of shots and it was supposed to render the sphere it just saves 1 ugly pic with bunch of images i took
no "rendering" to make it actually work so i uninstalled. took link from apolice btw

I have got same problem, I don't want to edit build prop.
Photo shpere does work on OMEGA Rom (XXLSJ based) so it can work with galaxy s2.
I'm on stock non-rooted phone

Found a working solution.
Just flash this zip in recovery https://www.dropbox.com/s/cg7vth21lcudpn8/camera42_patched.zip.
it doesn't require root nor you need to edit build.prop
I'm running this on ICS 4.0.3
I tried the patched version. It's running without modifications on the build prop.
But when trying to capture a panorama (photosphere) I get an error "gallery has stopped" during the stiching process. Any ideas?

Just what I need. Got it working flawlessly on CM10.1 nightlies. I edited the build.prop file just like the instructions. Just make sure you make nandroid backup before editing just in case.
Instructions can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36270876
Download https://www.dropbox.com/s/cg7vth21lcudpn8/camera42_patched.zip on your SD card.
Boot into recovery
Select "Install Zip"
Select "Choose zip from SDcard"
Select "camera42_patched.zip"
Wait for flashing to complete.
Reboot
And start using your new JellyBean 4.2 Camera.
That doesn't fix the problem that the gallery stops working.
On "Panorama is rendering." The process stops.

Yh it worked but the video recording doesn't work so I'm just going to revert back to the patched 4.2 camera that came with my ROM but the photosphere is awesome so my next phone will probably be a nexus phone

since you are rooted and having cwm go to your phone's forum.which can be found in legacy devices section in the xda forum and flash the stock firmware or a custom rom this can solve the issue easily.
