[BrainsROM CM9.1] LITTLE HELP NEEDED - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi all,
some guys reported problems in installing brainkafka's ROM. In particular when flashing brainfxpmod via cwm; it occurred an "installation aborted" error.
I think the problem could be the METAINF folder inside the .zip file: there must be only one folder named thus, no other subfolders with the same name. For me this little fix made difference.
I've already PM the author, but he hasn't answered me yet.
Please write a post in the relative thread as I've no permission to do it personally.
Thank you

Yes i did. Anyway I successfully installed the ROM. I just wanted to let people know my solution for a problem that wasn't solved in the original thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36956971
I need a senior member who post the solution on the original thread because I can't.
Hope you understand me and my poor english

If you read post one by one you will come to know that developer has provided a solution in that thread himself on page no 2 or 3

Epic fail
In fact when I extracted METAINF and replaced it in rom.zip I got the right files but one extra "META-INF" folder.
Now I see that post explained int clearly...
Hope my stupid topic could help some mega noob like me.
I'm sorry for useless worries I caused.

Where can I download RILs?

Hello guys, I was looking for a thread that can provide us RILs like the modem thread by UpInTheAir but can't find it here.
The reason I asked this is because I have already downloaded GetRil from playstore and somehow the list is not complete, cause I can't find any for Asian.
Just wondering if there's a link or website somewhere I can download?
Thank you very much.

Uhm, I remember getting specific RIL's was a pain in the rear for the Galaxy Nexus, where the GetRIL list wasn't complete.
To extract a RIL of your choice, you'd have to download the corresponding firmware and go into /system/lib and copy the file called "libsec-ril.so"

Use the zip from an already working rom and then make the changes in the updater-script..if you want i can send over my meta-inf folder
sent from here, there, somewhere!!
Yeah that would help. I've created my own update script but when I zip it all up how it should look compared to everyone else's rom it just fails when flashing saying bad.

To check out what is going wrong..after you have flashed either check recovery log under advanced settings or after booting go into cache/recovery and check last install log

Zoot1, Your META-INF consists of only the com folder.
Are the CERT.RSA, CERT.SF and MANIFEST.MF files neccesary?

Have you solved this issue?
Last time I had this same problem when flashing MIUI on Galaxy Note, it fried the motherboard and I just got it fixed.
All the best

This question is nothing new, Its not as if you're the only person to ever want to install cwm. Rule #1 of xda rules is to use search before creating topics.
Flash Siyah kernel v4. Flashing a custom kernel gives you root, custom recovery (cwm) and superuser.
If you want any more details then that I suggest you have a look at the other topics where this question was asked and answered. Or have a good look though the link above and learn. Rushing into things will just lead to you having problems.
I used this guide for installing CWM, the first point shows you how to. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/index.php?title=Install_CM_for_i9100

[request] stock 6.1.1.B.1.75

As I've not got access to a pc for a while to relock bootloader an update my Xperia p
I was hoping someone could post the stock Sony 6.1.1.B.75 as a backup for me so I can restore it through CWM
Its the fw I'm already on but for some reason I've got the notification of an update to that fw and can't get rid of it, its really annoying "/
I'm on vengeance kernel 1.25 so preferably could it have that kernel too but if not it doesn't matter

By posting to close a thread it won't be closed....
In case any mod is reading the thread or someone else reports it......
So just report the thread for close and it will be closed...... Just an advice.....

I know the topic is resolved but I just thought Id tell you an easy solution to your problem In CWM, there's a Tools option, and inside, there's an option to create Stock zip Basically, its a CWM version of the rom you have now, minus the baseband and loader

I know how to do all that its just I reflashed .75 through flashtool instead of locking bootloader using pcc then unlocking again
But because of this I'm on .75 with a notification in the drop down bar to update to .75 which is really annoying so I needed someone with .75 through pcc to backup their system using cwm and send it me "/ but get access to a pc sometime today so no need may aswell do it myself

No I mean because when ever I've seen someone be reported its always been for duplicate threads, warez or other things which they've done wrong so I just thought it was a bad thing
