Can anyone help me out with the rooting of iball andi 3n?
The specs are as follows:
Model No.- iball andi 3n
Android version- 2.3.6 (gingerbread)
Baseband version- MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V13.P1
Kernel version- 2.63.35.7
Build no. : iBall_Andi3nALPS.GB2.MP.V2

Yea but i have seen multiple threads helping people out with other models of iball so i thought i could get help for my device. Thanks anyway.

I already tried that. Didn't work for me. All i get is the error "Not detecting any device, check out the correct way to use". I have USB debugging enabled and all. It stops after attempting to start the adb server.
Can you, however, just gimme a description of what you did? So I can follow your steps?

Rooted the phone without any problem by SRS root software
But while changing the fonts by Rom toolbox, i accidently messed up something , Can you please help sharing Stock Rom (backup)

I have released an exploit that works for some late 2011 - early 2012 android devices with a snapdragon cpu and running version of android around 2.3.5 - 2.3.7. I don't have enough posts to be allowed to put a link in this forum. You can type "Optimus Elite root with an apk" into your google machine and end up at the place where I released the exploit and try it out on your device.

Thank you so much for the method... I tried it and follow all the instruction, but sad to say i got the following error message in my attachment.
Those errors are expected. The exploit only works 1 time by default and you have to reboot your phone to use it again. But you only need it to work 1 time. From that output, your phone is definitely vulnerable. It may take some fiddling around to get the correct addresses to make it work. If you know how to use adb and are up to it, shoot me a pm and we can meet up on irc and get it working.

Yes, this phone has been successfully rooted with a modified version of Poot. I can't post links but google the same thing I told the other guy to google and you'll end up at the Poot thread. I have a link to a .apk in the first post that was used to root somebody's w100.

Way to be persistant and figure it out! Its a great thing root opens up and after that the addiction starts, also thanks to all who contributed and provided the different root methods! Thats why this site is the best!
To anyone successful in pooting, please before doing anything else backup you stock partitions/ images.
Easy way to do this is using romdump over HERE
And kindly upload the somewhere with checksums.

Any method that uses zergrush/ psneuter - like superoneclick, z4root, etc - will now ALWAYS fail on newer (2012) patched GB roms like on the w100. Don't waste your effort using the same method.
Instead try the newer poot solution posted above - it is reported to be hit or miss, but at least now there is a chance it will hit unlike zergrush etc which are guaranteed fails.

so can anyone plz help me make a CWM recovery for it?

What was the solution you found? Could you pls share it here . I have Andi 4.5q which i can boot into stock recovery. but I can't wipe the data.
When i boot the phone normally i get lots fcs of google apps and launcher . cant use or make any change in setting app too.
Any help with flashing new rom or firmware will be appriciated.

flash cwm recovery using odin and then flash super user zip file using recovery then your device must be rooted

hello thank you for helping me, i tried that method, but it didn't worked. because huawei y3II is a new device recently launched, so i think till then i have to wait for any one click root apk app to be compatible with my device. but still i am thankful for your help.

Have you tried kingroot? PC program and also the android app?
Or framaroot, the android app?
Both, or either, of those seem to root anything.
Hi mak i have the same phone with u but recently i done rooting my device , with kingo root apk u can just search in playstore and download it . well it works fine for me .

No, you cannot root it with Kingo. The app is nothing but unfunctional bloatware and the PC version is also unable to do the job. So consider the tip with Kingo here as an advertisement.
