There are some words they I never use that always autocorrect when I'm typing. Like instead of "K.", I usually get "k.d.lang".

I quite like Kii Keyboard. Been using it since the beta and haven't experienced any bugs, give it a try.
So far with my usage, I've used a fair amount of features and it's not prompted me about paying for premium features.
Apparently according to the description, all premium features are free to use but reset every hour. Not quite sure what that means if I'm being honest, but like I said I've never been prompted for paying for anything.
(Won't allow me to post a link since this is my first post)

Swype all the way.
SwiftKey Flow comes next, which is known as SwiftKey 4.
Tapping keyboard is beyond me, so can't suggest any.
'Swyped' from my GT-N7100
I like Tswipe Pro
I have a few examples here of Android Keyboards.
I hope this helps you.
I like SwiftKey keyboard more and SwiftKey Flow is awesome

I have got some problems with Swype. New words don't get stored, and some times it gets stuck.
I downloaded using the beta installer. Any suggestions?

You should delete Swype, then log-in at Swype web and reinstall it.

I just realized how awesome it would be if we could overlap different widgets. Surprised this hasn't been added yet. I doubt it taxes the system any more than if they were separate. And I know I can't be the only one who thinks this.

Uccw does this afaik

What widgets would you want overlapped?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
they won't
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Not sure yet. It would just be an extra level of customizable stuff

TSF UI launcher let's you do this.
Nova launcher lets you do this as well
Most third party launchers do.

Nor sure anyone would use this but you can make the Samsung keyboard float if you like by hard pressing the mic and clicking the keyboard icon.

I tend to you smilies a lot on my GS4 but when I click on the sym key it feels like it takes forever to switch over to smileys. Is there a way to lower the wait time? I know on swiftkey you can. Wasn't sure on here

What keyboard are you using? That could be the problem. I use Google Keyboard and they pop up instantly.

I'm using the stock keyboard.
