Does anyone have any recommendations for a good app for battery monitoring and stats? I don't care about increasing battery life or anything like that I just want extra stats and info.
Try this...

Yeah, I only ran a sense JB ROM for a few days, but HTC really effed up the battery reporting, (and quick settings). Really disappointed in HTC. Oh well, I never use sense anyway.
From my Evo LTE, yup.

Same here. Simple and accurate, works great for me. So far I am really impressed by the battery life. I could barely go through a full day with the 4G, and now I have no trouble going to full days. I am not a heavy user so that helps a lot too.
NCH
My favorite, hands down, is Battery Diviner. It doesn't look especially pretty, but it learns how you use your phone and it makes an excellent prediction on remaining battery life based on your usage habits.
Plus, it's from an XDA dev.
There's a trial version in the Android Market.
I'm using the Circular Battery Indicator for non rooted phones from the general Android apps forum.

Battery Minder
Uses next to no resources, never found running in the background stuck (like almost every other single one i've used) and the interface can be widget or thrown up on taskbar to be seen on any page.
Just my 2 cents, otherwise when I root I always mod up a circular battery.
Battery Solo Widget. Doesn't drain battery and looks pretty nice too. Just a simple circle widget that tells battery and temperature of the battery if you want.

Nope, I love it.
Hey guys. I know this is going to appear an elementary issue but I can't seem to figure it out. I work for Sprint I know all about battery life and what kills it and how to make it last. My 3d is draining about 20 percent per hour! I have swapped batteries, tested my batteries, wiped my device mutiple times and flashed different roms and kernels. I can't seem to figure out why my battery life has become so bad. My wifes 3d lasts about 16+ hours with moderate use and I get nowhere near that. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

you can try wiping battery stats. if you have been flashing roms that can sometimes cause bad battery life. also the standard making sure radios you arent using are turned off and what not. but i'm sure you already know that. most recoveries have an option built in to wipe battery stats or you can use an app called batterycalibration. pretty straight forward app. hope that helps.

LOL! Oh, they know. They all have radar.
May be a bad battery, 20% an hour is an aweful lot
LOL she would definitely know if I swapped it out. I bought the platinum brand 34000mah extended life battery from best buy and I'm seeing little improvement. I really hate to think its the phone since I have s-off and really dont Want a 1.5 hboot. Could some one tell me which radio I should have. Could that affect battery life as well?

The radio version shouldn't effect battery life that much, could be from a bad signal, the phone constantly searching for signal kills the battery quick, and when you say her phone lasts 16 hours with moderate use.... That doesn't tell us too much,
Screen on time is where the valuable information comes from....
Do everything you can to maximize battery life... Turn on and off the certain radios as you need them etc.
And do a battery stat wipe, as this is calibrating the phone to the battery, not the battery to the phone... Flashing kernals and roms could Bork battery stats very easily... And flashing to a different one wouldn't necessarily fix the problem... Hope you get it worked out,
Get rid of auto brightness too, get your captivate buttons to a lower brightness they eat the battery up too...

Like the title says,my amaze has a very low battery life.It us an unbranded amaze running "Energy" rom with Stock kernel.
I am having only 3-4 hours battery life(with screen on).It was good with gingerbread but after flashing ICS on it(unofficial way),it got worse.I tried other roms as well e.g "Android revolution","Energy with both faux and stock kernel but battery life was still same.
I also calibrated the battery.
Now you guys have to tell me what to do.I tried my best.
Thanks in advance.

3-4 hour screen time is good. But if that's not enough for you, you can try the 3600 mah mugen power battery

3-4 hours is not good time.I personally use Xperia U and it has great battery time(6-7 hours screen on).And I don't want extended battery because with it,phone looks fat and ugly.

The Xperia u has a smaller screen,a lower clocked processor, you can't expect the amaze to be the same in terms of battery life. It's like comparing the mileage of a Honda civic and a mustang. There is no magical way to double your battery life, but you can lower screen brightness, underclock, etc

But it was not as bad on gingerbread as it is on ICS.It became worse only after updating to ICS.
hey guys I'm looking for a battery app that will tell me when the phone wakes and what exactly is draining the battery. My dad is experiencing horrible battery life over night. He had a fully charged S4 and he left it overnight and it was down to 25% and I looked in the stock battery app and Google services sucked up 36% which I know can't be right. Any idea what's happening?

I would try Wakelock Detector. That will tell you what's waking the phone when it's sleeping.

In my experience you will never truly be happy with battery life until you root and flash a new ROM and Kernel. I can finally achieve 24 hours of battery life on the stock battery using the setup in my signature. It is worth looking into.

Did you try Snapdragon™ BatteryGuru ?It takes 6 days to learn how do u use ur phone, than it starts with battery saving, works perfectly for me,got 2 days out off my battery...using it hard... playing games, browsing etc etc

Greenify can stop background processes and apps from waking your device, try using that.

Samsung Link can consume 30-50% CPU throughout the day.
gsam isnt resetting on full charge like its supposed to. does anyone know of a good monitor like gsam that works properly on aosp?
something with similar capabilities preferred, if possible. i just got a zero lemon battery, and would like to record some accurate stats.
thanks
bump!
The only other app I know of for stuff like this is Better Battery Stats and it's not really the same.
Probably there is nothing really wrong with GSAM - I think I remember reading that some rom's battery monitors built into ASOP roms themselves don't reset.
