[Q] TF201 not connecting to WiFi after flash from stock 4.1.1 [CWM 9.1 / 10.1 / 10.2]

Hi all,
Yesterday I've unlocked and rooted my Transformer Prime TF201, until then it was on the stock 4.1.1 after having gotten the OTA upgrade to from Asus last year. I did create the blobs and set up nvflash without any problems (basically I followed Matt's excellent guide).
That all done, I wanted to install CM, I've tried different versions (first the three most recent build of CM10.2, when WiFi didn't work on those I tried CM10.1, and when that still didn't solve the problem I even tried the stable CM9.1; and the associated gapps of course).
Basically in all versions of CM I tried, I can successfully install everything (always performing full wipe and cleaning cache &c) and boot without any problem, but I cannot connect to WiFi.
It does see nearby networks, and let me select one and enter password, it simply doesn't connect.
I've tried both my own home network (normally with MAC filtering, disabled this to be sure after reading that MAC adresses can change after flashing), and my ad-hoc tethered network from my GS4-mini: all with the same result.
This issue seems to have been reported for several CMs and various phones or tablets (most clear examples I found: CM10 on TF101 and right here on xda as well).
In the cases I found, the solution seems to be to change the wi-fi frequency band setting in the advanced wifi setting menu...but that option is not visible for me
Any suggestions as to where I am missing something?
never mind....
I had a good quality conversation with my WiFi router and I do have access now, it had nothing whatsoever to do with CM!
Cheers! :laugh::victory:

Click to collapse
Hmmm, dorimanx and siyah kernel isn't compatible with cm12. cm12.2 doesn't exist yet, maybe it is a kernel related issue. Try apolo kernel 8.0 or gustavo kernel since they are compatible with lollipop.

[Q] MIUI kernel issues

Hi
I own a Meizu MX2 m040 with Android 4.1.1
lately i tried flashing the new MIUI V5 and suddenly my 3G/2G network is not working.
Although my phone shows signal lines and "H" indicator, I get the general "Web page not available" error (probably no real signal).
Few relevant things:
When I switch to Flyme or CM mod the network works fine
My APN is set properly by my provider
My WiFi works fine
Tried rolling back without any success
factory reset leaves me with the last rom I flashed without user data
It seems like I have few issues in recovery mode. When I try to flash a new rom:
Flyme recovery says "Firmware not found"
MIUI recovery says "Installation failed"
I think that the problem might be the kernel or radio
I've noticed others had the same problem with different devices but I could only find a Galaxy patch to solve it
Can you plz direct me to a solution, a patch or a good and complete tutorial for flashing all three Kernel\Radio\ROM?
THX

Clean flash another build

restart your modem. your wifi ssid is hidden ?
Use static connections, in advanced settings of your wifi setup. I use static, somehow dhcp does not work for me
