So what did you miss - flashing ICS firmware or writing CID 111111?

Typically, status 7 is due to the Rom not matching the phone. (not always, but usually). Exactly what Rom is "official rom"? That u r trying to flash?

[Q] Help - No rom or back up How to install rom

Hi All need some assistance to recover my phone I'm new at this so I will need step by step guidance or point me to a link which covers every step required . I've tried following various posts in the forum and utube but have had no success.
Background, phone was accidentally wiped while trying to install a custom rom, phone now has no back up or rom on it, it has TWRP on it but from what I can see that's it, below info I see at bootloader screen.

... after sideloading the rom is 100% the phone reports sideload failed with the following error.
Set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/data/media/sideload.zip'
Any suggestions??
Do you find any sideload.zip file in your sd card from recovery?? By the way which recovery are you using?? I had the same problem but i did this method and it worked.
Sent from my HTC One X+ using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
There was no zip file present on the SD card... So it definetly failed. I using TWRP recovery, I have tried with 4 different versions. 2.3.3.0 , 2.6.0.0, 2.6.3.0 & 2.7.0.0 no luck at all.
I think yoy have to S-Off your device
At first you should go with any version of ENRCB_U RUU
I have the international version cid Htc_622 ...I can't find any RUU for it.. Looks like it's destined for the bin!
is anyone still has the hasoon all in one kit?
@[email protected]
you need to unlock your bootloader first, then flashboot TWRP2.6.3.3.0 first.
then reboot in recovery(TWRP) advance-and choose sideload. then flashboot-sideload your zip file, all is in the link you were given above.
Then report back if you need any more help

Followed instructions exactly but still get the same side load failed error on the phone after its 100% completed..

As you are installing an ICS ROM on JB hboot, you'll need to change the partitions in the updater-script of the ROM. There is a guide here for that somewhere.

Can you give me instructions to bring it to stock?
Flash the stock rom, kernel, and recovery in cwm or run the ruu it depends on ur carrier http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2804427
ur device is relocked. Make a backup before unlocking the bootloader. Unlocking the bootloader will erase everything on ur device

Have you tried using twrp from Desire 601 original android development? Those recoveries are probably for the old partition layout, and you have the new one. Give it a shot and report...

thank you for reply.
TWRP doesn't say no os installed.
I fix it about 5 minutes ago. TWRP just somehow formated boot partition. So i flashed new kernel via fastboot.
Thanks!
