How can I keep the messaging app from grouping contacts together? If I send a message with multiple people, it'll then start grouping them contacts together.
I'd like to use the cm10.1 style mms.apk but from reading, it appears sms works but mms doesn't work.
Thanks

Hey guys
When I try to type a new message and then select add recipient it gives me a long list with facebook account and gmail, Is there a way to only show the phone contacts when selecting a recipient?
I disabled the facebook and gmail contacts from displaying on phonebook but it doesn't seems to affect messaging!!
Apologies but I'm going to answer your question with another question: Why don't you download Handcent from Market? Free download and works well.
As for the stock messaging app, try going into contacts and click the 3 heads icon at the top left and choose contacts with phone number, under Phone contact choose contact.
Not sure if it will solve it but have a go.
Is there a way to only show mobile contacts in the messaging app? I keep texting email accounts by accident.
In the stock messaging app, how do I delete all the contacts I don't want. This list doesn't match my phone contacts and there are a lot of email recipients that I would rather remove.
Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I'm a new Samsung/S3 user and had a couple of hopefully easy questions for u guys. When looking at my text messages, is there a way to mark all of the unread messages as read or reset the number of unread text messages?
Also, when using the stock calendar for events, if i hit reply from a calendar event , the stock email program appears. I only using Gmail calendars and email program, is there a way to have gmail be my default email program so when i am opening links my gmail will open up instead of the default email program.
Thanks
bump....anyone has an idea?
Something cool about the new-ish facebook messenger app is that you can also use it for your SMS text messaging. Is there an app out there like this that also integrates other messaging clients like Hangouts?
Ideally, I'd like something that has SMS, facebook messenger, and google hangout conversations all in one list, with an icon on each conversation indicating what service it is associated with. Another (maybe better) option would be to have a tab for each service along the top of the interface so you can switch between them and stay organized.
I've looked around and found several multi-client messengers like Trillian or IM+, but none of them seem to do SMS as well.
