The reason Iphones rarely lag is because the apps are so lame, the owner dont bother installing anymore.
As of today, I have 120+ USER apps on my NEO V, 4GB worth of music and 12GB movies...
Does my phone lag? Yes...but not often enough to bother me.
Close this thread to brother poyensa, this is going nowhere, and there are enough threads to solve the lag, go to the sticky in general or learn to better search peeps

[Q] Neo/neo v heating and and cracked body issue

I have 2 phones.neo and neo v .my phone neo has stock rom even it is not rooted but it started to overheat.it automatically starts to overheat after 2-5 minutes of usage.guys any one has solution to this problem plz suggest me.i visited more than 5 sony ericsson service centre, service center told me that android phone heats a lots but my friend's neo doesnt heats up like mine.... ??as well as some sort of noise comes from left side of its body??what is it??
I have neo V and my phone also heats a lot after 4-5 minutes of continuous usage!
I can recall that this thing has started since I rooted my device!

I used to get Heat Problem when I was in Stock GB ROM whebn Playing games and Wifi use BUT Now My NEO ICS doesn't get as hot as GB.
I suggest you Upgrade to ICS 4.0.4 ^_^
also when Playing High-End game you should take of extra back cover (If you have one).
Hope this ans your question.
I already updated to 4.0.4 but over heating prob continues

Mild Heating
There's only slight heating on NEO V ICS 4.04....that too while continuously using 3G or WiFi...
My neo v heats a lot even when i'm calling somebody. If it isn't restarting/freezing it's nothing to worry about.
heating is normal with this phone..just dont OC it..might make it even worse..
heating may occur while gaming,2g/3g,etc..
Even my Xperia Neo V heats a lot which we can't even handle the phone when using 3G network otherwise it is been fine while using Wi-Fi plzz give any solution to it I'm facing this problem more than a year. Even in GB and also in ICS both the ROM I have not even Rooted my phone.
Help me out of this!!!

My Neo V gets heated when playing games or making long calls, but not when playing video for even more than an hour. Sony Experia support says this is normal. This problem was there when I had GB and also in ICS and still same in custom ROM.

[Q] Xperia Mini overheating problem still there?

Hey guys, I'd like to know if the problem with the overheating still exists. Isn't it fixed already with the official software upgrade of the phone?

No SE solved the problem ( with the hardware not with the software) i have xperia mini & using it for hardcore gaming but the phone never got heated ( just a slight 2-4 degree sometimes while charging but it normal)
I used GB & ICS in this phone but no heating problem.

So if I buy the phone now and upgrade it to the last version (will not be rooted) will it be ok?
Y with new ics work nice.

What about the performance? They say it gets crappy, even though it's hard for me to believe when the phone have 1GHz processor.....

No i think the performance should be much better than before as the heated CPU can't give lag less experience!!
Now the phone is much better so the performance is excellent.Mini & Pro has a advantage as they both have low resolution so they can perform better than RAY,ARC
Believe me even playing ASPHALT-6 For hours in my mini, the phone is't giving me a single lag.
Also the ICS is also working Better than GB (Expect games) the application starting & loading is like INSTANT

Honestly, I found the ICS experience to be a breeze. The performance on Stock might be a touch laggy but almost un-noticeable.

problem with xperia mini cm9
hey friends,
i have xperia mini running cyanogen9 & the problem irritates me too.
i have been to stock rom & cm7 before too & the same overheating>auto touches of menu/back buttons remained.
i have tried Gscript method but didnt work (on cm7)/nor working now.
it keeps saying that fwloader not found & the phone restarts!
PLEASE help me get out of this as where i live is a hot place & the problem gets frequent.
for ur info, the phone is rooted & the bootloader is also unlocked.
thanks in advance!
I have two minis, first one had overheating problem with the back button and I used the script to fix it. Eventually this minis touchscreen died (possible related to the OH heat issue or maybe not).
The second mini i bought about 4 weeks ago didnt have this issue, so yes, sony fixed this at the factory

Ram Usage.

Hello people. I noticed that the ram usage on my Xperia S ( recently bought ) is around 350-400 USED and ~200 free. I don't have a problem with that as i know how android works.. the OS is Android ICS . Even when i first turned on the phone , with only stock apps and stuff, ram was still ~350-400 usage , now..i just want to know if it's bad and i need to try to repair or something else..
Ps. I don't feel it runing slowish or something like that, always runs nice and smooth. Thanks for ure time.

[Q] Difference between Sola Custom ROMs and CM9 based ROMs

Hello guys, or maybe gals too..
I have this newbie question..
Whats the difference between Sola Custom ROMs and CM9 based ROMs?
And which one has the better performance?
Currently Im running Fluidity ROM on my SOLA, and I want to play Asphalt 7 : Heat but the game is very very slow on my phone..
And while surfing the net, I saw a vid of Asphalt 7 : Heat being played on SOLA and the gameplay is simply awesome. cant even saw a single lag..
Please do help this poor newbie..^^
Thanks a lot in advance... :fingers-crossed:
CM for sola is stil under development the last release was 207 pepper - CM needs lots of bugs to be fixed for optimal gaming performance, so kindly avoid it unless ur are ROM tester
Pulak has Execelled his ROM based on Gaming and overclocking so if you are on that, its the right choice..
A lot can be written its better if you can start researching on that. this will help you to clear most of the doubts on both..
I see..so how it is..
May you mind telling me if your current ROM (eXperience™ CM v1.0) any good?..
Thanks btw..^^

Dude, sorry but i can not agree with that, cause in my opinion CM looks very sweet and run smooth, i use it as everyday ROM for a business phone and never let me down - camera is good, its fast and smooth, battery last good, Exchange works great - A2DP and radio doesnt work.
All custom ROMs have bugs - before CM i was using another custom ROM on which when i go to contacs in exchange the mail app crashed, so let the guy try and decide by him self.

I do understand that he is the best judge of himself but as he said he is newbie and looking at the question, i personally don't suggest people to use the testing roms (past exp)
Also i wouldn't deny the fact that cm is smooth n steady as i have been using it from the week i purchased my mobile.. also i had installed cm in more than 6 devices now but not everyone found it stable...
Always be cautious wen suggesting someone... my theory
