S Voice latest version? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Samsung device with cyanegeonmod and I got a cracked version of s voice and loved everything except that it sounded very robotic. Is there and updated version that sounds better? If so, please leave a download link. Thanks!

Updated version won't do you any good. S-voice and Siri sound robotic and there's nothing anyone can do about it. But seriously, if you're using CyanogenMod, why don't you just use Google Now? It's much faster than those two and has a lot more functionality. It's just better.

I do use Google now. But it is still in early stages and not as many functions. And s voice can be funny sometimes. But thanks for your answer. *clicks thanks button*

Ya, but google now can't send texts or calls while you are driving. I don't use svoice much, but i really like it for that ability

1) Google Voice does not have video chat at all, it does not even have direct calling.
2) Google Talk is the one that WILL HAVE video chat soon on the Nexus S first THEN it will be rolled out to 2.3 "Gingerbread" devices.

I noticed the ICS voice is better too.
I think you can get other TTS engines or voices on the market. I haven't checked on ICS, but I though GB lets you change it a little by choosing s different language, like British English, with the built in voice.

[Q] Voice control app

Does anyone know of a good alternative to svoice? I have tried vlingo, and the built in Google one but I'm looking for one that can open apps too and set alarms. Any suggestions? Thanks

Does it work BETTER than shazam or something cause shazam is pretty spot on. What's the benefit?

None really, all you get is the song, artist and price on google play
Can't wait to try this later
