yeah i found this a little while ago, very handy. I do one-handed when i am not using the S-Pen but switch to a regular layout for S-Pen (still settling on which keyboard, Kii right now).
Ive used it and it works great
Spectacular! I really missed the 4.2 stock keyboard. This is just what I needed.
Thanks for posting this. Just got my note2 this weekend and that was one of the first feature I was missing.

Hello, I would have posted this on developers CleanRom ICS thread but I don't have enough posts.
Next post is a link to the Swype app that is actually big and is compatible with 3.4. It should work with 4.0 too.

Hey Riot, how long did it take you to go from 3.7 to 4.0 re-locking, flashing RUU, and everything?

Downloaded but won't install successfully on stock Rezound. Do you need to be rooted to install this? Or uninstall) the current one I have in my phone first?

Uninstalling the one I had on here worked, but this one seems no taller than the 3.26 I had already. Its still 1/2 inch shorter than my Smart Keyboard I've been using. Does this one appear taller on a ROM?

I'm okay with that if I can get the normal size keyboard.

The one that popped up in my ICS ROM was truly miniature. This made it the "regular" size.

I tried it as well, and I saw no change in size though the size has always for me been okay. I let it "update" after I played with a bit and the update also looked the same as well.
No difference to me.
my swype has always worked no matter what ICS ROM's I've run - wonder what the underlying problem is
When I've gotten the small keyboard, I just rotate to landscape and back and it fills the screen.
It took me about an hour to go from stock routed GB to CleanROM 4.0. It was well worth it! As for the issue with Swype, I turned the accuracy all the way up and it hasn't happened since.
great work! I'm so glad to have swype back. Thank you so much

Yeah, it's friggen BS.
I'm willing to personally put $100 toward a bounty to fix this.
One of the Swype reps said that it seems to be because of the refresh rate of the Rezound screen, and how Swype deals with it. But since it's not a specialized - for - our - phone build of Swype, that they probably won't spend any time trying to fix it, since our phone is the only one with the problem.
It'll be interesting to see if ONE X has this same issue, and if they address it.
I'm so tired of swype having a touch-break in the middle. I - NO JOKE - almost bought a T-bolt instead of a Rezound once I discovered the bug.
I swype VERY FAST and A LOT and it SERIOUSLY hampers my ability to use this phone. I can't stand it, and it literally wastes minutes of my day, every single day. I'm actually mad about it. It couldn't take more than a couple of hours for Swype to fix, but they don't seem to be interested. I'll pay for a paid version to have it fixed. Or a bounty. I just need it..

However I worry a bit because in the comments to that video someone posted (only 3 hours ago) that Go Launcher updated its app and therefore its not possible to follow the tutorial. Not sure if that is true or not or if i could muddle my way through the tutorial but this is definitely a weekend project to try!!

My original post proves it works on the note 2. Running it now in fact. There hasn't been an update with go laucher since I set everything up so don't know what that post is about that you read. And the set up only takes about 30 minutes in my experience.
I just uninstalled go launcher and all necessary apps for this set up and reinstalled. No issues at all after following the tutorial again. Don't believe reviews or comments as they are filled with haters.

Not aware of one either but I used to do the exact same thing on my gnex so I'd be very interested as well. I'd do manual wipes then run the script twice just to make sure everything was nice and tidy

Hi everybody, now that we have a working root process for the Verizon S4, does anybody have any idea as to how to disable the ongoing WiFi notification?
I looked up the method for the Galaxy S3 but the SQLite database they reference isn't there (or at least not in the same spot). Not sure if that'd work or not anyway.
Thanks!
mine should come in today, and then I'll take a look

I hate that damn notification. Verizon waits a month to release the phone and then they still insist on pushing this wifi notification. I know the SQL method was removed, but how was it gotten rid of after that was taken away? Maybe it would apply with this phone as well.

I'm trying the old method for the s3 with sqlite editor but I can't find anything to disable it. There must be a way!!

Hey, Where did you post the mod. would love to get rid of that on my S4. Can you help me out. Thx
Been running CM11, for the past couple of days now, and have to say that KitKat is mighty freakin' sweet. Seems to be fast as all get out, and the new contacts/dialer/caller ID are awesome. I haven't noticed any bugs, yet. Bluetooth streaming is working perfectly. Gotta love it. :good:
been thinking of trying CM but these are the things that keep me on the stock rooted rom....
camera app saving to SD card
IR blaster
is there a way i could get these inside the Rom to work?
With most of the kitkat ROMs BT streaming is an issue and other random bugs but yes its always been fast and pretty stable from my experience.
I have to take back what I said about Bluetooth working perfectly. Today, in the car, it "gargled" a little on me, but it straightened itself out after a few seconds.
i want to try cm11 but i am stuck on mk2
I loved cm 4.4 on my gnex. Too bad I'm also stuck on mk2 now.
Ir works for me as for pictures there's modded cameras to enable pic saving to SD

I've been running cm11 since the first nightly release, and so far it has been very stable for me. Definitely a few options missing that I like, but nothing that would stop me from using it daily.

Same here. I'm loving this. I found a theme that has blacked out most everything, so the only things I'm really missing are a rotating lockscreen, and center clock.
u can get the IR blaster to work, just download that app Smart Remote (unless it doesnt work for 4.4)
Widgetlocker for rotation

Rotating lockscreen, use Widgetlocker. Depending on your LS layout it can look strange, but I keep my layout simple and the rotation works fine and looks decent enough.
Flashed the CM11 12/24 nightly today and it is awesome. Totally slick and can't wait for the usual CM features to be reintroduced!
