I m using miui( i prefer it) the problem is tht whn ever i am using any application say browser or any other app and if i press the home button thn again come back to the app i find the app has closed by itself, it doesnt run in the background.
I want the apps to work in background n not just close by itself. Any help would be appreciated.

Some of my app, in the app's menu, switch pages and are opening new page every time I reboot my phone.... How can I stop it.
I assume you're using TouchWiz (the default launcher), and if you are then search the market for AppZorter. That should help

Hi everybody.. CM 7 is missing the Kodak perfect touch feature. I don't know how to get it back. I have its backup taken using titanium backup. But unable to install it. Any idea..??

How did you do that? Whenever I tried to restore any app other than market app using titanium backup in cm7, it get stuck and never says 'app restored' or 'failed' . I have to reboot my phone after waiting for more than an hour or two.

Wow!! TB testorations rarely take more tham 10-15 sec.
To get out of a freeze, try this trick that I have:
press the search key, then the menu key, hit "Preferences" and then the back key.
But more importantly, have you tried to go in "Preferences" and change the "App processing mode" to: "AUTO, indirect" ?

the connected music player works on any rom. the other apps are framework/blur dependent so...

In stock froyo gallery select a picture-> go to options-> edit->kpt.
Kpt enhances the picture with better colours.
On my t bolt the new update made it change to page scrolling for my apps. How do I change it back so there are no pages?
perhaps send EchoX860 a PM. He recently got no page scrolling on my ROM (which is pretty much stock). He might be able to help you.

Guys, i am facing a weird problem from yesterday! whenever i try to download app from Android Market, it completes the download but never installs the app. when i click on notification while downloading, it shows another app on Market. Pls. get me off from this issue. Thanks in Advanced.
Wen u keep it on download let it be complete then touch it..or else it will be downloaded & wont be install..

Due to this the download completes but the app doesn't install.

even when Im not touching the notification then also it keeps downloading n notification disappeares!! I'm using old market, v. 2.3.3

I did everything, bt still same problem!
Just use the new market already found it better to use than the old one
Old one is better...new market keeps on loadin for hrs & say server connection tym out

Wipe cache+Dalvik cache, then reinstall the gapps.
I suggest to set airplane mode and to set wifi off, then in recovery install a gapp package with old market version. At the first boot go in /system/app and set to 0 (or remove) all the MarketUpdater.apk permissions. Then switch from airplane mode to normal mode. Done!
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do this? All suggestions I see are to remove facebook.
For me I would like to keep it on the phone, as I use it twice a week, but I hate that it always has a service running which takes up to 10mb of ram.
I tried removing that service from the startup list, but it puts itself back in again.
I don't care about the facebook updates (eg. notification) I just want the program to be active when I click on it, not all the time.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, I just ROM toolbox for that, but it also removes the icon, so I have to get into ROM toolbox first to defrost it and then to facebook...
not that big a deal, but a little annoying Was hoping there was a more user friendly way

I kicked it out of there aswell, but still finds it's way back.
I also disabled it's trigger events... it just keeps coming back.
If I didn't know any better i'd say it's a virus

I uninstalled everything that have facebook/fb in the name, only thing I miss is the share button on Youtube app now have no FB option
Its a small price to pay mind.....
