Try to get in CWM and wipe cache/dalvik cache and do a data/factory reset, format system in mounts and storage and reflash the rom again. That`s how i would do it.

Pull the battery and wait a minute, reinsert the battery and try to get in recovery (volume up + power + menu button at the same time). Do you have a International GT-I9300 device?

I don`t think so (it would not boot after the Samsung logo), if you can get in downloadmode you could flash a stock rom with Odin. Do you have a jig?
Look here for trying to revive your phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPfxkA8V-uo.

Might have probably tried but did you try to boot into download mode by the three button combo of Volume Down+ Home+ Power? You haven't mentioned that anywhere in the thread...

Came from MIUI v4 and did a factory reset, then flashed 154_5, then 198_7 and OCR-root successfully. Then failed to get unlocked!
Realized I don't have Android Recovery anymore, just a yellow triangle when Vol-Dn+Pwr and selecting Recovery. Does stock recovery get re-installed when going back to stock with 154_5 sbf?
I've done this whole procedure a few times but am by no means an expert. How can I get stock recovery back functional?
THANKS for any help!!

Ok, sorry. I have done that. Used that small menu to wipe system and cache. That allowed me to reboot the phone. However, I still don't have stock recovery. Unless that is stock recovery and only a custom recovery provides more options. Strange that it would give the error message though ....
Do you know?

And I thought it something to do with me not getting root. I went back from MIUI v4 by factory reset, 154_5, 198_7, rooted successfully with OCR, flashed derpunlock.sbf, but moto-fastboot oem unlock just returned <searching device>.
Flashed derpunlock.sbf again, checked drivers, no success.
Do you know what it could be. I'm ready to start over!

Cool, didn't realize that. I thought factory reset and flashing 154_4 fully returns the phone to stock. So I take it from here I can just move on with installing CWM and then flashing MIUI and other Roms, right?!

Sorry but I have to ask, are you sure your running a Samsung vibrant ROM? I have heard people talk about having button problems but that's usually when they flash a ROM meant for the samsung i9000. If you are positive your running a Vibrant ROM then look in the thread for your ROM and look for a button fix, usually in the .zip format. If your ROM was ported over from a different phone then there would be a button fix somewhere, if you can't fix it then use this app until we figure out your problem

If you flashed back to stock and it still didn't work, it is a hardware problem. Try (after flashing to stock) take it back to the T-Mobile store.

Yeah I suggest to do what Zaclimon said. But I don't know how it messed up like that if you're doing it from the standard recovery. I guess you can try to wipe factory/reset and data again. But try the thread I gave you and see what happens.

But when I restarted it. The logo just appeared. It's almost a day and it's still like that please help me gosh I hoped it wasn't bricked.

Unless you remember all the apps you froze, which is unlikely, go into recovery mode and factory reset your device.

If you can get into recovery then no, are the any custom Roms for your device? I suggest you try flashing one. They normally have all the bloatware removed already. Either that or flash your stock ROM again using Odin. Which device do you have?

Can you acces Emergency Mode my friend. Pull out battery. Insert it back then Hold Volume up + Volume down + power button tell me if you see a yellow screen.
I doubt you can use Odin as you say you have an lg device. Many lg devices have fastboot access via bootloader if yours is on then you should be fine. I doubt you froze anything that would keep you from booting to the recovery as you can't freeze your kernel so keep trying to get there. But a factory reset will doubtfully help as you probably removed some system apps that don't return when doing a factory reset, but still worth a try
If you can get into recovery and a factory reset doesn't help then wipe all and then flash a custom ROM.
If this won't work than hope you have fastboot access and or another method such as nvflash or whatever
