Hi.I am thinking about buying Sony LiveView watch and i am going to use it with my Xperia U.
Does anybody have LiveView and uses it with Xperia U?
If anybody does can he share his experience with me

I have LiveView. It's working great. I used it with Neo V, Arc S and now Xperia P. But I must repair it, because LiveView is strange now. Something broke inside and I don't know what. You can read SMS, RSS and of course you can cheat on tests

No. There is an app. You can read, txt files in LiveView. You can prepare,.txt file with information and read it with LiveView. Nobody will say that you are cheating.

Try the liveview applications from googleplay and it works on bluetooth.
There are many applications in googleplay just search "live view".

Smart watch is like a wrist band watch andd live view is like a carrying small device to see status or read info from your sony device.
Smart watch is better and also live view is having issues regarding connection to Xperia devices
Just install live manager plugins from Playstore and also Smart connect(liveview Mgr) specially designed for Sony Extra devices like Smart watch, camera etc.
Your bluetooth should be on to connect smart devices.

I got it on my DOCOMO Xperia nx japanese version....I can launch whatever an application is while the mobile is locked

Well goto settings>display>settings for lock screen But I've seen there no apps only notifications...
Or install GoLocker
It just could be great too have that feature, without installing any apps, just like in the video.
and yep that feature is gone,
Maybe in next update or ICS?
I do not know if it will help you in any way, but widget locker is an app which allows you to customize lock screen in any way you may need. It is not free tough...
I don't know whether this has been mentioned, forgive me if it has.
I have looked through the thread and didn't see anything.
The app is called frame grabber, it works a treat. It can take a pic from your video which is great if your taking fast moving objects.
Something that would possibly turn out blurry with the camera but won't with the video, can be captured and saved as a pic.
It's about £3 in UK money off the market, but for me it's well worth it.
So if you're little ones are running around and your trying to take a pic without blur, video them instead and grab a frame from the video and then you have the best of both;-)

No, i want application from Play Market. Google won't allow me to dowload this to my Sony Tablet S, only Xperia.
I want it too. My xperia ion rooted with ics, but google says its not compatible. So if anyone give me a libk to apk it would b awesome

Thanks for sharing. It works with my Sony Xperia S and Sony Tablet S. This app actually use Xperia smartphones wifi tethering feature. Bluetooth connection is just to active the feature whenever both devices detected.
Is there a chance to use tethering over bluetooth with this app?

Hello! It seems that the client works great with my tablet z, but the older Xperia neo refuse to comply. When I try to install phone app, it says 'application not instaled'. Any help will be much appreciated!

xperia link not working on nexus 7 ( 2013)
This is a dump question, but i think u may help me out. I had tried the SomcXperiaLinkClient.apk for my Nexus 7 (2013). First time when it tetering with my phone ( xperia sp c5302), that was awesome. After that, the next time it kept drop connection each 10 minute. When i check in app info in both devices, the xperia link version 1.0.A.0.9 ( Nexus 7 2013 ), and in my phone is 2.3.A.0.4. I guess the difference version may cause this drop when they tetering via bluetooth. Ah ! when i tetering them by NFC, the xperia link in my Nexus will pop up and ask me to install the update version. Can u help me to solve this problem ??. Thankss so much ( my english is not good, so sorry guys )

There are good vendors like Sony Xperia has its own Messenger.
and can also be used by users other than Sony Vendor.
I Think It's A Good Idea, and allows us to share a Special user's Xperia.
Like Samsung Chat? The thing that gets deleted from Samsung users straight away. BlackBerry may have BBM but we have Google Talk, which allows us to speak to Android users and not a certain manufacturer. And Google Talk is cross platform which allows calls, video calls and text.

If you don't agree with my idea "No Problem"
it's Just Idea And about Building Application Not Compare Other Android.
Because I know all android apps can be used for all types of android.
I generally don't like the idea of shutting off in small groups - Sony Xperia users, Samsung users, Apple users... it doesn't make you exclusive, it's just a bloody nuisance. why do this in dawn of cross-platform software era? as it's been said before, we've got Google Talk to communicate.

It's just an application, and does not include A Grop, but can also be used by all vendors android, Like WhatsApp Messenger & Line Messenger.

This only involves a messenger application name. Nothing to do with the name of the other vendors. But maybe this is a big project and requires the cooperation and support of a team of authors also support.
meaning can not be done alone.
