The best set up is whatever looks good on your screen. Every screen is different

Led Indicator

Hello i had a problem with my galaxy s iii. I wanted to customize my led notification for each app, so i got an led color tester app. When i tested the red color, it wss green. Blue was magenta, yellow was blue, etc. Can someone tell me if thid is a problem with the phone? Or...what? Sorry for the noob question but i just got this phone today!

Your phone is fine. Somebody posted that the firmware for this phone controls the led lights incorrectly/differently than others, so apps like the one you used, light flow, etc won't control it correctly until they are changed to be compatible.

I just figured out what color each setting truly was (green is red) and I assigned what I wanted to be red, as green. Works for me

I'm still quite worried because my friend says hers doesn't have the blue tint although I haven't seen hers myself, could someone else please confirm the blue tint for me :/
I did not notice the "blue tint" in my phone..
If this helps, maybe it can be somewhere where you can tick it from settings>display
>display mode
