Which is best on AT&T - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an Optimus G, getting ready to get a new phone and I'm going between HTC One X+,SGS3 or the Note. Ideas? I want the most powerful AND most dev friendly, especially for ROMS.....

Most P 500 roms and stuff work on it.
Sounds good. What is the difference between the two? I want to get the right phone.

[Question] Im recieving a vibrant 4g as a gift

Is there any custom roms? Or should i sell it and keep my vibrant? I was looking at the 4g forum and it looked pretty dead. Anyone know if its compatible with regualr vibrant roms?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
from wht i know its not totally compatible!
So there arent very many roms available? I want the ffc and 4g
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
then keep it stock and enjoy the ffc and 4g...
So there are no roms for the 4g?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Not really. Doesn't seem to have any active developers.
The lack of developers is what's keeping me from getting one.

You keep saying you want a custom Tom for the galaxy s 4g, and we keep telling you there really aren't any nor is there an active development community for it, and you still keep asking the sake question.
If you want custom roms, stick with the vibrant. If you want ffc, 4g, and no custom roms, go with the sgs 4g. Pick your poison.

Yeah, he posted how to, but he's not developing for it, so it's up to other users to do the leg work, which people aren't stepping up to do.

If you get one, i could port roms you want over from the vibrant. Just pm me the rom you want and i will port it.
I would trade it for a G2 or Galaxy Tab (if you get lucky). Or just sell it on ebay. Just avoid the Mytouch 4G since you are out of warranty if one of the slews of issues with that phones occurs.

I'll pass, tablets aren't really my thing. And, I'd rather have a g2x than a g2. G2's are kind of wack. Im just waiting for a phone that really blows me out of the water.

Which one is better

I'm thinking bout the butterfly and the DNA which phone is better based on specs

I like the DNA but there is no ad card but the butterfly is very expensive then again the butterfly is international and no carrier brand it so hard to choose

Id look at the development community. OTG on the DNA solves the external sdcard issue in my opinion because you can just plug up a flash drive or hard drive.
If it was me making the decision, I'd go with the dev community I felt best about and was in tune with. I gave 700 for my DNA so I could have bought about anything, and I chose the DNA and am VERY happy with it. Several of my good friends are developing for it.

1. The DNA is built better
2. Better development
3. lte capabilities
4. More parts available in case of repairs
5. Better price
I cant take nothing away from the butterfly but personally I think the DNA is a better choice

This phone or the 'rezound?

Hello I am wanting to get a new phone and am trying to decide which phone to get between this phone and the HTC rezound. The main thing I want is a better phone my lol and be good for using GPS and be able to have the newest android with very few issues. Thank your your input !
Sent from my ADR6300 using xda app-developers app
Also is hdmi going to ever work with say cm10.1? Mhl on the rezound will never most likely work that's one thing better about the razr.

I asked lg developers for help.

Worth a shot right?
Edit: if it's too hard to read it basically shows me asking for help, on the lg developer forum, for unlocking bootloader and them saying no help it is unsupported.(for now)

Moto X and Moto G are both going to be supported for years because Motorola is owned by Google now. Therefore, Motorola phones are practically Nexus phones. Even though they don't get updates first, they get them soon after!
Well i just found out CyanogenMod Team coming out with a phone... I want that instead since all i'm gonna do is put a custom rom on a phone anyways..

I'm definitely getting the moto g when it comes to the US in January, can't believe it's only $179. Could probably sell this phone for $100 too, $79 for an unlocked 720p phone with KitKat sounds great.

It's tempting but I saw it's only 3G. I may be making another mistake with the F6, but I prefer LTE. I would love a Galaxy but my dad prefers LG.

Not sure if I can agree. The new camera is way better, the look is nice too and you can buy a version with 32 gb.
