[Q] Headset button stopped working with AOKP ROM - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have the original Samsung Headset (wired) with a single button which in the Original ICS Stock ROM answered calls\started music playing.
I upgraded to AOKP 4.1.2 ROM for the I9100 using CWM 5.5.0.4 from the Cyanogenmod original instructions.
Now the button does NOTHING. It doesn't even answer or disconnect calls which is the most basic functionality.
Is there a fix for that? Does anyone know the source of the problem?
Thanks.

I have tried CM10, AOKP and SuperNexus.

With all Samsung based ROMS (Stock and Omega) all works fine.
Now i tried it with a dual boot environment (SiyahKernel S3 v1.7rc1) -> but same error
has anyone an idea?

[Q] which modded rom or kernel has end call button functioning?

Hi all,
I've p7500 currently running on stock ICS with A1 kernel. I have been trying to use cm 10 & cm 10.1 before but restored back to stock ICS since end call button aren't functioning.
I would love to use cm with all of it can offer but it feel weird if my tab can call but cannot end it.
So,here is my question:
1. Suggestion for any version of cm or AOKP that is in line or superior than my current rom with functional end call button?
2. Is there any other rom base that i didnt know? (stock, AOKP, CM, ?, ?, ?) -> is it correct??? //just to sharpen up n maybe test it up//
Sorry coz being a noob and dont know where to ask.
Thank you all in advance

CM10.1 In-call sound bug

Hello, I am new to CM10.1 but have tried many different ROMs including Helly Bean, Revolt 3.2 and nightly, N.E.A.R, PA. Basically most of CM10.1 based ROMs. I keep getting no in call sound after a while after installation and or after restore some apps from TB (app only). I read there are couple methods to fix it temporary and one work best for me is every reboot, play a system sound while on loud in order for the sound to work. No problem in JB 4.1.2 whatsoever. I'm currently using Helly Bean and doing the system sound method at every reboot i need.
Wondering if there's a permanent solution to this? Also confirm that baseband is not the problem or hardware. Any help is greatly appreciated! Cheers!

[Q] Problems with car connection and my i9300 on 4.4.4

Hello I'm a bit of a noob on the ROMS. I've managed to update my Galaxy SIII (I9300) with some custom roms after a friend of mine rooted my phone. I've tried several different ROMS like CarbonRom 20140713, ArchiDroid 2.5.1, Dirty Unicorns(4.4.4_20140707) LiquedSmooth(20140708) and SaberMod (20140728) and all seems to have problems with making a phone call. As the sound of my in car radio of my toyota auris full hybrid is distorted to the level that a phone call isn't posible. As all of them seem to be 4.4.4 based I think that it's inside the master software of wich all of those custom roms seem to be based (can someone confirm this?). The only rom that works is Android Revolutions (SGS3_52.0) but that seems 4.3 based. Does anyone else has this problem? Is this the right forum to post this question? And what to do as 4.4.4 has some nice features with the wifi connection that I like. Also before rooting the samsung original software worked fine with my inside car system.
Also a strange thing I've removed the bluetooth pairing each time and with the Android revolution I have to fill in a pin code. With all the 4.4.4 versions the connection doesn't ask for a pin code (wich for my car is btw 0000).
I hope someone can help me with a solutions.
Greetings Michael
