it can still be sdcard swaped using the method on http://galaxynote2root.com/ it worked for me when the beta port i made worked on 2.1.1 and 2.3 dont know about 2.4 yet still working on getting it to boot should have a working version tonight i hope

Okay so I been testing it for about an hour or two. GPS is fine. Data is fine. Everything is smooth. Volume rocker skip works with the different music apps I use. The samsumg keyboard doesnt have auto correct tho. I dont own anything blue tooth so maybe some other testers can confirm if it works but I dont see why it wouldnt. Also there was no boot anination. It might have been because I chose to install the Saber kernel. I will continue my testing throughout the day. Everything seems perfect so far

Okay so I had the increased system volume installed and the ringtones sounded horrible so I took it off. I tried the stock kernel n still no boot animation. One request would be if you can add the option to remove the AM/PM from the status bar.

Have you gotten mms to work because we havent seemed to work out that problem yet we are trying to though. and the boot animation does not work nomater what kernal you use. the bluetooth does work on all devices

When I tried installing this ROM I encountered an encryption error on first boot and it asked me to do a factory reset. After resetting I still got the error. Did you encounter this at all?

I got this when I tried with the stock kernel. I switched to the perseus kernel and no issues. I can receive mms but can't send them. Shows invalid destination.

Yea that happened to me too. I had installed the volume increase n I disliked it. So I reflashed the ROM without wiping and then I got that encryption error. I don't know why. I flashed again n it flashed just fine

Another thing I've noticed is my signal is stronger. Not sure how that happened but went from low-100db to low -90db

yeah.. are you running the release from today?
One thing I saw was that I couldn't mount my storage to my PC or it would hot reboot or just not mount at all. I haven't tried it on aokp yet though.

Keyboard in landscape only shows top row of qwerty for me. All bunched up to the left too. Don't know if this has been discussed yet just thought I'd share.

Yea, it was clean flashed. Ok i just tried it again on AOKP JB and it mounted just fine. Maybe it was just my build?

I'm on a build from 2 nights ago but the sound profile seems finicky. Like it will show the icon n status bar that its on silent. But a notification will sound, then I can use the volume hardware buttons and see that the ringers way up, but if I turn it back down and LA with it a bit it gets right.
Also, with the play store when I am doing what I call rapid fire downloading, which is scrolling through "my apps" and installing one after the other, is rare but after about 12 apps sometimes the play store will just force close to the home screen. But then I can open it and it loads up fresh and works fine.

Not until you just mentioned it. I think it's a pretty silly gimmick and I never notice it unless I'm looking for it. I can confirm though.
Was listening to BT music and placed a call ( with phone not bluetooth ) was done with the call the audio played from phone and not from BT.

Running it now. It's super smooth and fast. I love having access to my themes again but I'm a little torn from not having multi mod or the spen integration that touch wiz has. I will run it for a day or two then make up my mind. Media volume is lower on speaker too. I also miss Perseus kernel for louder audio. Im sure I can find a working volume mod but I haven't had the time to look yet.

I had the same problem, updating TWRP solved it.
CM running pretty well so far, thanks for the heads up!
I to had problems with the ota update. My partition was not responding.
I did try creating new scripts but didn't work so had to re flash d old version.

Going to start a ROM bounty here.
Plain and simple i love the idea of the ROM and would like to see a stable build for us.
Bounty will be played upon dev completing a stable build with no major bugs (ie. cell/data/3g,late working/MMS,GPS etc)
I know this can be done and would love to do it if i had the skill sets or the time.

Yeah I've tries it as well as a few other ppl here phone FCS along with contact storage.
I manages to get data working with some edits but no one can get cell service ie. Phone calls to work even when using an alternate dialer like exdialer. Simply says dialing and never goes through.
I also tried the porting tool same issues

Try this. Flash a working vzw rom. Then do a dirty flash of r85 custom install and select bypass activation option. See if data works then please.

What is the r85 supposed to do? I flashed another vzw rom and then the r85, the data came right up,but it doesnt seem like the r85 does anything...I didnt notice any changes after I flashed.

So say I flash our stock OTA deodex, then r85, should I boot inbetween flashes?
It is my understanding that r85 is basically a patch weighing in a 32mb, is that correct?
I loved SynergyRom on my S3, it would be amazing to get it on my Note 2.

I tried it both ways and even got the global_config.jar from a vzw rom and it wouldnt connect to data...

The only thing close to that I have seen is n7105 roms with Scott's Verizon patch. Some people have reported hashchecks Rom and others working just fine from that forum once they use the Verizon patch.
Try a few of them...so long as they don't have modems in them you will be fine.

The only thing close to that I have seen is n7105 roms with Scott's Verizon patch. Some people have reported hashchecks Rom and others working just fine from that forum once they use the Verizon patch.
Try a few of them...so long as they don't have modems in them you will be fine.

I've heard if it does have a modem you can just flash a VZW modem after it idk never tried it though

I thought that just flashing the rom can cause service problems. MMS issues at the least. I also thought there were partition differences that could cause trouble. Maybe I'm wrong.

I prefer flashing in the nude, that way I can flash a rom while flashing my neighbors

I have tried alll the roms in this forum for the NOTE II for Verizons and alot of the Att n7105 roms. I run into the issue of The GPS will not lock I really Like the Jedi Roms But can't run them because its based on N7105 and the I can't get a lock but, with Scotts international N7105 he has found a GPS fix still looking how to fix this issue in his and everyones Threads Help if you can Please !! I would love to help test I want to know so i can fix it. I haven't tried the patch with Jedi but I will. Any Other Ideas ?

Right there with you. Even restoring to Beans isn't working and that works for me on AOSP. Mine shows 0 satellites available where as normally it'll show them there but not be able to lock on to them.

Everyone Seems to be wondering Can some one get a hold of Scott and ask what he did to fix this issue

I will say that I am currently running Scott's latest base rom from ATT forum. I could not get GPS lock. I backed it up, flashed his VZW 3.1 Clean Rom, acquired GPS lock, then restored the ATT base rom...all good. That is a fix I have found to work for me...YMMV, and it may be a slight pain, but it is what it is, for now...and for me.
I have personally tried flashing 7100, 7105, AT&T and Sprint s.. 7100 you get no service even after flashing modems.. 7105 run flawlessly and AT&T and Sprint won't get past certain screens.. I would love to run the Moon ROM in the 7100 android forum but don't know how to port

GPS is always an issue with ports
Would love for someone to port or for omega roms to come to the 605. Running it on my note 10.1 and it is flawless.
