As always, thanks in advance for your brain power.

I'm a fool first off and I'll admit it.
I decided to try and root my Galaxy S (running 2.3.3) today so followed some instructions using Odin and a CF file. Unfortunately I downloaded a CF file for a Galaxy TAB by mistatke and not the phone simply sits on the balck text screen toth Samsung Galaxy S I9000. I can still get into Downlaod mode but now have absolutely no idea which of the 8 million CF xxx. tar files I now need to enable me to get back into my phone.
All I do know is that:
It's on Orange UK
(I presume) it's locked
it was running Android 2.3.3 before I messed it up.
I'm an idiot and in need of help.
Thanks in advance
Try to visit samfirmware (dot) com, they have lots of stock rom, yours should be there too

Help needed here since I am not the most clued up guy when it comes to rooting and un-rooting ...... I basically need help un-rooting my Galaxy S3. Here is what Ive done: Rooted it with ODIN then installed CWM 6.0.2.3 and then loaded custom ROM "Android Revolution HD" ..... no I want to un-root my device cause the software is giving me lots of issues, and I am not exactly sure how to do this with ODIN. I do have ODIN 3 v1.85 and I downloaded the latest standard software for my Galaxy S3 from SAM-MOBILE. So what are the steps now keeping in mind I wanna reset the Flash Counter as well (but don't wanna pay for root Triangle Away) any other ideas on how to reset the Flash Counter? ..... Hello everyone,
Happy holidays.
I just got this phone from HSN, Samsung Galaxy Light model SGH-T399. Well my friend thought it was a smart idea to flash this phone for root and I was at work. So now the phone stuck on the Samsung boot screen.
I was wondering if some one who has this phone could give me the stock Recovery image and stock ROM so I could see to revert it back to working condition as when I bought it.
Thanks for your help.

[Q] Metro PCS : Samsung Galaxy Light SGH-T399N Bricked Stock & Or Custom Rom Needed!
My Samsung Galaxy Light Is Bricked However I Have Access To Clockworkmod & Download Mode So Please Help Me Its From Metro PCS Yes I'm Well Aware That There's Two Carriers Of This Phone One Runs KitKat(Metro T399N) & Other JellyBean(T-Mobile T399)
Hi,
You are not "bricked" if recovery and download mode both work. Your OS is simply missing or damaged. You likely need to use Odin to flash your stock firmware again, which should be on the sammobile website.
Or you can flash a rom, but all I found it this.... But it's for a t399...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-lightwave-v1-t2825253
...and I don't know if it will work for you... Or even actually brick you, you could ask here though.... (don't flash it until you know for sure)

If you need help with Odin or have other questions, you'll need to ask for help here
