Hello everyone, I flashed every cm9 fxp 2xx and found that the wifi is not working and stuck at turning on screen as attached in the thread.
I also tried the method stated here but it didn't work although wifi works on cm9.1 available at get.cm site but there is problem playing games using acclerometer such agent dash, temple run 2.
So any help would be appreciated.

Why am I not getting answers, I also posted a thread but didn't get a single reply there also where as the threads made after me are replied. Did I do something wrong please tell me..

Flash another kernel(and if it has WiFi modules) and then reflash the ROM and it shud work....same happened to me on CM 10 but when I flashed extended kernel and then flashed the ROM it worked... best of luk

So would you recommend any kernels for cm9 fxp 2xx !!
You can try all the kernels and the one you find best go with it

What Kernels should I try and where I could find them please be specific as to what kernels should be flashed.

Can I backup my wlan modules of cm 9.1 and use it in fxp cm9 2xx?
Please also help me by giving a certain list of kernel which I should flash as its confusing for me.

FXP recommend their kernel for cm9, but in development section is kernel from Alliance for cm9. I guess you can use it too

using fxp 128 with fxp latest kernel which is in the rom itself is best supporting overclocking :good: with good governors and a good battery life mine gives around 1.5 days using a lot music and wifi!!

the kernel in the downloaded package is the best offering best battery life if u are not satisfied the only choice is alliance kernel
After i flash real ICS 4.1 ROM, i can't turn ON WiFi. It display WiFi turning on, but not on. This is the second time i face this issue, first time i flash some WiFi patch zip file posted on Xperia Arc S forum, but that file no longer available my SD card and i can't find that post. So please help me to fix this issue.

Ops. I think moderator will move it to the general section.
Finally I got the soultion. I flash this Goo.im "new_wifi_modules.zip" and now wifi work fine.

I still have the same problem. I use the same kernel and I flashed the wifi module. My wifi still cannot turn on.. Any idea? Any help?

Did you flash the wifi module correctly?And does it give out an error result?
use mesa 1.6 kernel, its stable and not power hungry.

Hi I am using your same rom with last version of radeon kernel and everything works fine, wifi too. If you have an unlocked bootloader you can simply flash the. img file with flashtool and at the first boot you must flash wifi modules by recovery(as you did with Zelly Cream). Hi all, my phone is a Xperia Mini st15i and I installed CyanogenMod 9.1 stable, I decided to try the lupus kernel and it works fine , the problem is that the WiFi does not work , I tried to flash a zip containing the modules to work the kernel and wifi with anything. And so asked if a solution to the wifi working again.

It seems to be a kernel problem because even other people are having this same problem as you can see in the thread. So, you can either use the kernel within the zip or try using Mesa kernel.

hello first of all thanks to iiandskater for this lovely rom.i really love this rom,hence i was using cm10 for my sk17i ,after i see this rom i tried to install it on my sk17i,i followed the steps just like ur post,first i wiped all and afterwards i flashed jv 5.3 and then dev files for mango also then gapps and keyboard but afterwards i got one bug that my hardware keys are not working:crying:.so i saw from ur thread 1) first flash jv 5,3 then 2) addons 3)key board language packs 4)flashed dev for files for mango u provided and it worked for me :good: but all of the times i was not getting wifi even i downloaded the kernel that u provieded.i really appreciate your hardwork for making this rom ,hope i will get a solution and sorry for anything i mentioned here badly because its my first post:crying:

wifi means is it wifi hotspot or just wifi
anyways many custom rom has problems with wifi so it may not work properly please contact the dev of this rom
try any 3rd party apps for using wifi that may work
its wifi not turning on, i will try to download thirdparty applications

i saw it in the dev forum also but with other device and in that one they said to flash the proper kernel for getting wifi.
and iam using the exact kernel mentioned by dev itself
hope there will be other solutions out there

it works great for me even with wifi

finally WIFI is working fine in my sk17i with jellyvanilla 5.3
i installed fxps cm10.2
and i thought of trying jv again
so i first flashed kernel provided in the zip
and then
done full wipe
system,cache,and system format

then installed jv from recovery
but first i was not able to boot in to recovery but afterwards i installed xparts from the market and then clicked boot in to recovery from that
but again i wasnt able to boot in to recovery then i saw post from devs forum it happens due to minor bug in fxps kernel so after clicking boot in to recovery just need to press menu button once and it worked perfect for me

and i flashed light gapps and xperia keyboard and booted again
and my wifi was working perfectly in my sk17i
but only one issue is my hardware keyboard is not working
so i flashed the dev files for mango too
and now my hardware keyboard also working and thanks iiandskater for this perfect rom for my sk17i
keep up the good work
