hello guys. I just noticed that in camera I can't zoom. video and photo. I press the voice up and down botton which was normal zooming but now it takes photo or start recording video. is it a bug?
No it'll be an added feature. To zoom in just pinch out and pinch in to zoom out

I'm running Shirshir's ICS ROM, but he hasn't made any changes for quite some time and I have no idea if he's supporting it any longer, so that's why I'm posting this here. The rom uses AOSP gallery and a themed mms.apk, both of which I like, but in this tweaked mms.apk Shirshir removed the ability to add pictures to a text message using the gallery, so you can only add pictures and videos that you take at the time. That is, you can't add ones already taken unless you go through the gallery app itself, and even then you can only send one at a time, you can't add multiple like you could on stock. So my question is, can anyone re-add this ability? Or point me towards how I might do it myself, as I'm very noobish?
P.S. If you happen to make one, I'd also like a switch of the attachment and send buttons in messaging while you're at it XD
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hey!
I know about this problem... I was actually going back to the old gallery to fix this and the lockscreen wallpaper problem. That's the only easy way short of decompiling and fixing the code inside the individual apps... which is useless since I plan to change my ROM to a completely new base eventually.. That's what I've been working on lol.
So, you can't really fix it and keep the stock gallery app. If you want, I can upload the original gallery for you to install, and that should fix everything.
Hey guys! My first post here in this lovely forum. And wanted to start out and thank everyone here for all the good work ur doing.
Was wondering if its possible to mod the stock contacts and add swipe right for call / swipe left for SMS.I know there is replacedialers that has these functions but i think the stock one is so good looking.
Second. If theres a way to mod the stock lockscreen and add a second slider for example camera and flashlight. Or is it back to widgetlocker? The thing thats annoys me then is that you have one look for the lockscreen and then it all changes when u get an incomming call. Want the same look throughout the one phone.
If there should allready exist a thread with this contents that i have missed. Just refere me to that one and lock this.
Thanks!
Hey all, I'm hoping you can help me with something.. I'm running Cyanogenmod 10 on Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 International version. When I call someone the call screen will have a huge photo on it and my photos are all small so they look terrible. I had it before with certain roms (not cyanogenmod) that the call screen would have a few options on it (like Gingerbread rom) and a small window for photos which meant the pictures were a decent size and looked great.
My question is, can I change settings in JB that will allow the small window to appear or do i have to install another stock dialer or such.
Sorry if I'm not explaining myself well...
Kindest Regards
Garret

Jelly support hd contact photos (256x256) which is pretty cool.
All you have to do is update your contact pictures manually or do it with this app, HD Contact Photos
Thanks for your quick reply. The app will be a big help, but we're would the photos be stored, since I've added the photos I've since forward the phone.
I'm using an International S3 in the US. I updated it to the Official JB via Kies this morning.
Everything is ok except the Gallery.
The Gallery doesn't go to full screen like in ICS, it now has the notification bar on top.
Even when I'm viewing individual photo in full screen, a black dead space is still on the top (like a place holder for the notification bar).
It means that I can not use the whole screen to view the photo. I tried zooming in but the black space is always there.
Do you guys experience the same problem?
I'm thinking of finding a new gallery apps, because it's pretty annoying (missing the whole purpose of owning a big screen)
P/s: the screenshot of that black space are in the attached file.

yea I have it too.. would be nice if someone could fix it. Tried to use quickpic but its just not quite that good.
I think it's not a bug. Samsung has changed that in JB. I don't know why.
Ok i have found a way to make any wallpaper appear with transparent notification and onscreen keys just like stock wallpapers, on stock launcher. It is so easy and i just haven't seen it reported anywhere so I thought I should mention it. All u need to do basically is to zoom in just a little bit on the wallpaper when selecting it. I mean crop it just a little bit. You will see it works like a charm
Updated instructions: long tap on homescreen. Go to wallpapers. Select ANY picture u want. Comp!ete action using "Crop picture". Tap on the upper blue arrow and drag it down just a little bit( really just a timy bit is enough). Select crop. U are done. Enjoy

Screenshots incoming, sorr for zip format but size was too big for jpeg and i had no time to upload them to another site and then post urls. It works like charm the photo i set is one i took with my camera but works on any pic or wallpaper
You can crop it even less than i did but i cropped so much so that it shows on screenshot
that "semi transparent" notification bar is usual. The really transparent notificaton bar is when you dont see any edge of it. So, sorry but its nothing new.

Then quick question. If i dont do the above, i get black bar and black (non transparent) buttons on my homescreen unless i select a stock wallpape?that means there is something wrong with my device? Please advise... Only thing i get that semitransparent effect with other pics is when i do the above. Is there something wrong?
