Not sure whats up, running Shostock3 2.1, gym today Evernote kept giving errors but I can't see the full message, says something about "insufficient device...." but it's cut off and can't see what it says and clicking it just goes right to Evernote settings. Checked the phone and it says available space 69mb (however all the other items it just says calculating and never gives a numer), which doesn't make sense to me as I know before I had waaaay more and that was with having like 5 or 6 Rom zips on the internal, when I flashed 2.1 I deleted all those extra zips which were an easy couple hundred mb each, so where the heck did all that mem go? I haven't downloaded any new apps or anything, went through folders in ES File Explorer and don't see anything out of wack.
edit- now just tried opening gallery and says not enough space please delete unnecessary items. I don't have a lot of pics, and somehow before I would have much more pics and vids along with the 5 or 6 Rom zips and no memory issues ever.

Have you cleared your clock work mod folder and deleted all your old blobs?

Hmm no never even thought of that, was also thinking of checking TiBu and clearing all backups done then starting a fresh backup.

Maybe you should do a completely new backup as you indicated, then do a full wipe and re-install the rom. The only time I saw this message was when my old GS2 started having crazy issues; turns out the motherboard had started to fail. Right now, my three year old son has it, he just plays games and other junk on it and it still gives the same error. So do a full wipe and see what happens; sometimes it's better to start fresh and maybe if you can afford to, try installing the apps fresh from the play store instead of restoring them from TiBu. Just my two cents.

Anyone else have this issue? To install the new market I had to use my system app remover, and I wonder if that's what went wrong. I have the AT&T 2.3.4 rom and am (obviously) rooted, unlocked bootloader, yada yada yada...
When I click an app or game it will go through the screens until I hit "Install" and then pops up this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

Any suggestions? Or does anyone have an APK of the original market I can install? I think it was listed as vending or android.vending or something like that.
(Note to self: back things up before removing them = )
Once I backup my market i will post link. backing up now.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WTRCI35D
Its the vending.apk should revert you back to working market
try if dont work let me know.
Just use the app manager to uninstall the update. That's what I did to get back to the old version.

Thanks, market looks like old one, but now I get force close more frequently, after clicking pretty much anything. Like as soon as I click "Games" at the top I have force close now. I must have removed something important when I uninstalled the old market... I don't use the market enough to really care that it's gone though, and any app that I find there I could just sideload I guess. If it bothers me enough I'll just re-flash. Thanks for the help guys.
flash 2.3.4 system.img via fastboot just the system should fix it
I had to do that once or twice
Thanks I'll try that right now, just backing up all my apps and stuff. I'll try just flashing system, and then won't restore the market app when I restore backups if it works. I'll post back results in case this happens to anyone else.
Update: Flashing just system worked like a charm, still have all my apps and all too! Thanks for the suggestion Xenocyde!
I saw this comment by another user in another thread this morning and guess that many people don't do this automatically.

The update destroys your internal sd memory, this is where titanium likes to back up . Enjoy going through the pain of re-installing all your apps from scratch. ( for the love of god change where titanium backsup AND sync it to your drop box) Every thing in your download folder is also going to be vaporized.

When I setup Titanium Backup, I always make sure that it is using the real external SDcard instead of the internal card it uses by default. I'm surprised the app doesn't ask when it is run the first time, but it doesn't.
It is easy to change, especially if you don't have any backups yet. Even if you do, it will move them to the new folder you setup in the process.
The mount point for the external SDCard can be one of two though I normally use the system default one which is
Code:
/mnt/sdcard/ext_sd

I use BOX to sync 1 copy of my backups (I have 3 histories) rather than using my dropbox because I have a 50gb box account.
If you think about it, having TB store on the Internal card doesn't do you much good if the unit dies. At least by syncing it to the external card you can take it out of the phone, but if you lose the phone altogether, you lose all your backups if you don't make a habit of copying them to another source which if you do manually won't work because you will forget to do it.
I made the mistake of flashing the RUU and expecting titanium backup to restore all my old apps. When I loaded it I was pissed! I think this thread will help some people restore their apps.
Yeah I saw that comment as well. It always takes me longer to setup my phone up because of things like this. One of the first things I do after flashing!
I didn't realize people didn't know about that function.
Hey guys
So for a while now I've been having problems with my internal SD card being overly full and I can't figure out why. Here's a pic of it:

I have CWM installed and I know that takes a lot...but it seems as though it just seems to get more and more full even if I don't do anything. I'm using Camera JB+ to store pictures to my SD card, and all my music is also on my SD card, as well as my CWM backups.
Any ideas? I have tried clearing cache/dalvik after updating CM10.1 but it doesn't change much...
Thanks,
Elliott
What's that misc. over there? 9 GB of crap?
Looks like a bug, nothing in the cm thread?

I have no idea what it is...I've used the "DiskUsage" app but it's majorly confusing...
Install a storage app that can show folder sizes like Folder Size Chart or Storage Analyser etc. Then you can find out what is taking up space.
if you are on cm10.1 nightly then remove viber & lucky patcher if installed.
you might flashed 20130121 nightly... this may help you
see this & this
if this didnt help you go to CM10.1 forum and search there. u will definitely find solution

Go into system/log and delete everything. I got back over 1.3 GB on the 2 GB SD partition.
Thanks but I don't have a system/log folder It's really full now to the point where it won't let me take pictures anymore...have been using 3rd party camera to save to external_sd...but I like the original camera.
Everytime I reboot, this "app" comes up. I have no idea what it is, but I know it wants me to call cust care...how do I disable this?
If you've never noticed it before or it seems suspect I would scan it with whatever anti virus app you got and uninstall it. I use App Master, you get rid of suspect "system" apps and it can put it in a recycling bin in case you want to reinstall it later.

still happening...confused.
Self service is a system app. You can't normally get to it to run it. Disabling it might stop something from working that the phone needs. When I freeze apps on a fresh install, I don't do that one. I don't know what it does. Under normal conditions, you shouldn't be seeing that app running at boot. Something might be borked with the phone to cause that app to run, and you see it, at startup. I know it's an extreme reaction, but if it were me, and it was really getting on my nerves, I'd back up everything to the SD card. Then I'd power down and remove the card. Next I would flash a full stock Odin tar.md5 of the operating system. That will put things back to where they're supposed to be. Next time, be more cautious when freezing/disabling/removing system apps and files.

If you're getting that message, it means something is wrong with your phone. I'd hope it's only something wrong on the software side of things. What Oscar suggested will, without a doubt, solve any issues related with the ROM.
I like my custom ROMs, so the first thing I'd try is a completely clean flash of your ROM. Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, and system, then flash any ROM of your choice.
If you're still getting issues after that, then I'd go with the full stock unrooted ROM, as Oscar suggested.
Hope this helps!
Heya, first time posting and I got this weird NVRAM problem.
Before all, here's the info of my phone:

(Also have installed TWRP MDS recovery 2.8.0.0)
So, some time ago I kinda ruined my NVRAM/IMEI (sorry, I'm really bad at this so please no hate if I don't call it correctly) while flashing my phone. But til now I was able to fix it by just taking the NVRAM folder back-up on my pc and replacing the one on my phone with it. That worked fine for a few times. But recently, I got another, kinda weird problem. I suddenly found myself not being able to use a few apps anymore as when I opened them, they froze after a few seconds and closed, without any "[APP] unfortunately stopped working.". First I tried figuring out why it might be after which apps it were which froze, but I couldn't find a clear pattern because apps like Steam or Chrome froze, while Firefox, Reddit and WhatsApp were just fine. Following I tried first removing my SD card to see if that would fix it, rebooting my phone, clearing the app cache, reinstalling them and nothing worked. So as a last resort, I factory reset my phone. After it rebooted, I had the NVRAM problem again, to no suprise and I did the same as always. Drag root explorer and the NVRAM folder on my device and replace the current NVRAM folder with the back-up. But after rebooting it, I kinda met something unused for me: The IMEI was there, but so was the NVRAM error in the Wi-Fi tab.
That pretty much confused me. The phone works perfectly fine, I can receive calls and messages, the provider is there.
So at first I didn't bother about it because the error only was showing in the Wi-Fi tab while everything seemed to be fine. But then trying to install and open the same apps as mentioned above, nothing has changed.
So, with me being a total noob in this and not being able to connect the lines I got 2 questions:
1. Are those 2 problems linked to each other?
I know that it is very unlikely, but hey, slowly getting desperate so I would believe anything.
2. Specifically, how can I fix the apps freezing?
The first problem didn't bother me too much, but I kinda need to use some of those apps like steam for the mobile authenticator so I really would be glad if I could fix this.
Thanks for any help in advance.
