Hello,
I removed some of live wallpapers from the ROM and now I would like to install *.apk wallpaper back but I don´t know how. The aplication is installed but the possibility to set the live wallpaper as a wallpaper dissapeared. Do you know how to get this settings back?
Reflash the Rom again with the life wallpapers in it..

Every official fw from Sony have live wallpaper. So every Rom based on official fw must have it.

Download THIS and extract it.Place this folder(framework) in /system/vendor/overlay and set right permissions (rw-r--r--) for each file in the framework folder and reboot.

Hello everyone, this is my first post in the forum. I'm a android newbie, i was a iphone user for a long time.
I started to read stuff about ROMs and Kernels etc and got interested so i changed my kernel to siyah v2. 6.4+ and the rom to wanamlite v6.7.
I was used to apply a live wallpaper by pressing menu then wallpaper and then i had an option called live wallpapers and now i don't have this option anymore, is there any way to go around this problem and make use of the live wallpapers i install? Thanks in advance!

Not sure about Wanam lite but he may have removed the livewallpapers and whatever framework / apk is needed to run them.
Have you installed any from the market and tested as well?

same thing happened to me when i first using custom rom, but it turn out that is not the custom rom, it just the titanium backup freeze feature that i accidently selected the live wallpaper when i was freezing some unremovable samsung app
I downloaded some from the market and install them but somehow i cant select them as my active wallpaper

You can use Titanium Backup to convert in system app, or you can push it manually in system/app and reboot
Hey guys, how can I change (replace) the 'original Omega' lock screen wallpaper?
Thanks
[ROM][XXLSJ][21Nov] Omega v16.1●►JB 4.1.2
In parameters /display / lock screen / choose from..
or from front display with one touch "define wallpaper"

Thank you Gemetria,
I know those ways, but it doesn work for me. That is the problem.
Have you tried to change the wlppr? Are u using the OMEGA JB ROM?
I think I should use maybe root explorer to change this wlppr, but I DON'T KNOW how..
Can you tell me maybe?
Best
/fb/
Yes I had Omega and no pb with wallpaper, even with Apex laucher installed.
By launching Apex no control on wpaper ?
You don't confuse with bootanimation ?

Hi,
I recently updated my XP to JB using PCC, everything works fine except my lockscreen, the problem is that the new lockscreen wallpaper does not change according to the theme.
I was previously using a modded JB style lockscreen on ICS and I'm sure that is the cause here.
- My phone is not currently rooted but I will root it in a while
- I do not have a stock ICS firmware available
Any solutions?
Thanks in Advance
P.S: Attached is the lockscreen SS, it stays like that always

Similar case with mine....
The lock screen works fine.... but there's no words" swipe up or down to unlock" after a while since boot...
The wallpaper does not change with theme, at least that was the case for Xperia z and other xperia jb phone. For the "slide to unlock" message, I think was programmed by Sony to disappear after 3 slides

That's not correct, it changes with theme. I 're-flashed the official Sony jb firmware after making a tft from pcc and the locksccreen is changing as per the theme.
My lockscreen started working correctly all by itself though before I flashed the firmware again, I used the pattern lock for a day and when I switched back to slide it was working great!
Sry, my bad

Do you have a firmware ftf?
What you can do is make a backup of your data using Backup and restore app and then re-flash the stock JB firmware. Though it is not the best solution, it is bound to make all your problems disappear

my phone already rooted and install some tweaks.
if i flash the firmware and use restore app will it give my root and all the tweaks back?
If u want to chamge ls wallpaper go to setting display
Lockscreen wallpaper and change it..
Or if u like original stock jb ls just delete uxplockscreen.apk
U had 2 ways

Anyway to get album/walkman/video apps from the Z2 to work on our phone?
I can have a look at some of the other apps, spent all yesterday trying to get the whole Sony 4.4.2 system to boot - needs more of a dev than I am
does the live wallpaper work on stock rooted 136 firmware?

I believe that it will work, but rooting seems like a lot of effort just to get a live wallpaper to work
yea~ coz i saw on other sub forums that the live wallpaper doesnt work on stock rooted firmware though, hope somebody else could somehow make it work on stock 136 firmware on z ultra
