Hi guys!
My front camera on the i9100 is broken and whenever I start the app it freezes with the "warning camera failed" message. I tried everything and it seems to be a hardware issue. On the other hand the front camera is working, so I am looking for an app that can shoot and record with the working camera only.
So far I've only found two apps- "Teburi Front Camera" and "Front Camera for Nigh" on the play store, but none of them can record video.

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to record video through the front facing camera and the rear facing camera at the same time? If not, is it possible to record from just one camera and running in the background, so I can do other tasks while still recording video?
This would be great so I could use my phone like those ghost hunters and have my face recorded while recording what's in front of me.

Camera applications, other then the stock camera app, fail to work.
They boot up just fine and show image appropriatly, but when taking a picture no image is saved. I have tested a few camera apps, particularly Vignette demo and Paper camera.
Paper camera: this one shows the shutter animation, but nothing is saved.
Vignette demo: application informs that a picture is taken and then freezes.
The stock camera application however saves the pictures just fine to the sd card,
Does anyone have any idea of how this problem could be solved?

On my A32 the only other cam app i can get to work is fast burst, It gives you a few more options than stock. I have tried every other cam app i can find with no luck, i have noticed that the scanner now works in google shopper with the new firmware.

I recently loaded a debloated rom (found here on the website) and noticed that when I video chat, I cannot switch to my rear camera.
Did they take away that option?
Or could it be caused by that FCC "fix" that was posted when everyone was trying to fix the video chat from being sideways?
can anyone tell me if their camera, when using gtalk has the option to switch to the rear camera?
Did u find your answer? I haven't used gtalk but both cameras work fine on other programs I use..
As stated in the title of this thread, the front facing camera only seems to work in the stock camera app. I tried Camera ZOOM, google+ chat and the Qik designed specifically for the atrix. All of them don't seem to even recognize the front cam. This phone is running on GingerBlur 4.5. Any ideas how to fix this?
When I go to camera to record at 720P, the camera fails and is giving me an error (the camera stopped) and returns to the main screen, but at normal quality works, and the front camera works as well, and i can take pictures with both cameras. Anyone knows what can I do, something other than reinstalling the software again, to resolve my problem? I am using an Galaxy S (i9000) and Remics UX 1.3.1. Thanks in advance.
