Hi,
I have my Desire X with a sense Revolution R3 ROM, when I rooted and change the ROM, I forget to save a copy of my ROM. Exactly the phone is from Vodafone Operator.
So today I set free the phone, I pay to set free it by IMEI. I receive the code to set free by IMEI, so when I put the SIM of another operator, I get a message to unlock (my PIN, thats ok), but when it have to appear the IMEI unlocking box, the phone restarts!!!
I read that, this was beacuse of using a custom ROM, but what can I do if I don´t have my operator stock? Or there is already VDF Original ROM?
Or can I have a solution installing the stock Rom of HTC (without operator)?
I need your help please, my phone now was like a stone!
Hi again jejeje
I have a solution, I instal the HTC stock ROM and know I can set free the phone. THANKS!!
now I will go back again to REVOLUTION
Hi Txispass
I read you are from VODAFONE.
Mi problem is I´ve lost the backup from the original ROM. Could you share the backup?
Thanks

Hello,
I have put new ROM (that 'test' one), but I want to get back to original ROM - is it possible? Where I can find the original ROM from HTC?
I did try on GSM Operators sides, but they give it only to registered users, who bought phones there. Could somebody give me the acces please?
Best greetings,
RA
P.S.
Is there polish version of WM5 for this phone?
It is unpossible, becouse test rom only rom in internet, except my rom.
You can find original ROM from HTC on service center only.
Ugh...bad news so...:-(

I am currently living in Japan and have just picked up a new HT1100 (Touch Dual) on the Docomo network.
This is my first smartphone/PDA and I am very happy with it except for the language problem.
The entire system is in Japanese and I would like to change it to English. I have tried asking Docomo who didn't have a clue what to do and it seems that the original English software has been completely removed and replaced with an all-Japanese ROM.
I have never changed the ROM on a smartphone before but I am willing to give it a go but I have a few questions which I can't find answers to by searching -
1, Would it be better for me to try and find an English language pack (if one exists)?
2, If I do have to change the ROM completely then which would be the best one for me?
3, If everything gets screwed up then what are my chances of unbricking it and putting the original Japanese software back on?
4, If everything goes to plan and I change the software to a hacked version can I still use my Docomo sim card in it? Or is there some kind of security check between the sim card and the phone that means the card will only work with the Docomo ROM?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm a bit of a newbie at this and don't want to ruin a brand new phone that I am otherwise so happy with!
Read the Sticked Thread about HardSPL and make all Steps!!!

neon 100
japanese ht1100 code name is neon 100 not niki,
so do not flash niki radio or rom to ht1100(neon 100).
Thanks for the replies!
I will certainly read each step carefully before I flash the phone with new ROM.
But before I do I just want to check one thing to be completely clear - are you saying that after I put on this new homebrew ROM I will DEFINITELY be able to use my Docomo sim card in it without any problems?
Also, what settings would I need to enter on the new phone to use it properly? ie, when I flashed normal phones in the past I needed to re-enter all the MMS/internet settings. Is it the same with these smartphones or are there any other settings I will need to get?

2, If I do have to change the ROM completely then which would be the best one for me? I think your device is a Neon, if i'm correct that i think i'm the only one cooking Neon Roms .
3, If everything gets screwed up then what are my chances of unbricking it and putting the original Japanese software back on? Dump your original Rom before doing anything that way you can always manage to flash it back.
4, If everything goes to plan and I change the software to a hacked version can I still use my Docomo sim card in it? Or is there some kind of security check between the sim card and the phone that means the card will only work with the Docomo ROM? Is your phone Network locked? Have you tried a sim card from another Network?

hi,I have same handset with you , and have flashed english rom , if you want to flash any english rom,I think you will cannt use docomo network mms, hi-speed data plan etc.
and cannt accesse internet. so, must dump docomo original rom before flash other english rom. good luck.
I don't know if my phone is network locked as I have not tried another sim yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it it.
Actually, after mailing HTC Japan they have pointed me in the direction of an English language pack sold by another company. I have to wait another 24 hours before I can use it but it looks promising - http://www.cfcompany.co.jp/product/mobem/mobem.html
If Aten is right then flashing the phone will be no use to me if the Docomo sim card doesn't work.
I will wait and try this language pack to see how that works out. Maybe after that I will consider flashing the ROM.

The MMS and Connection settings are store either in *.Rgu files or *.Xml files on the Rom, not sure which ones. I had the same issue with my Telstra branded Rom, the network settings were built in so i couldn't connect to any other network. If you dump your rom and upload it up i can have a look and extract these settings for you.
Cheers
Well that language pack software arrived last night and I installed it without any problems.
It all seems pretty good. Not everything is translated but its enough to make the phone useable for me.
The only major issue I have is that it seems incompatible with the whole Touchflo interface. The touchflo will not open my videos or, photos or music files any more. I cannot use the Touchflo shortcuts and it seems I am also unable to set an MP3 as my ringtone/alarm etc.
Is there something I could change to make this work?
I am busy with work for the next few days but will see if I can upload this ROM on the weekend.
Hi Guys! First sorry for inglish... I'm speake portuguese.
I'm have a problem with my phone, i try install lots of custom roms and original roms and phone accpet chip (TIM) but dont get sinal...
My IMEI its OK. i'm use *#06# and my imei its ok... im look on black list, and my imei its ok too.
someone can help me please
When did that problem start?
What did you do right before that problem appeared?
You said stock roms, does it mean its same on stock based rom or on clean stock rom, like after you do repair software with pc companion?
Is your phone SIM locked, meaning locked on one network? Wad i locked before and you unlocked it?
Type *#*#73784236#*# in dial pad and go to servce info->configuration, what does it says: under rooting status?
P.s.: in future use Q&A section for questions. While posting this you even answered/mark that its a question
Hey there !
First of all, i am quite a beginner with Android flashing etc,
so I will tell you first what i did and then what the problem is!
I flashed my Samsung ACE 2 GT-I8160 using this tutorial:
androidcentral.us/2014/01/update-galaxy-ace-2-android-4-3-jelly-bean-using-cyanogenmod-10-2/
I flashen it from Gingerbread 2.3.6 to Jellybean 4.3.1 - CyanogenMod 10.2
I had it rooted a year before, so it was not that problem for me.
It worked fine in the beginning but then i realized i dont have any cell phone provider chosen.
Automatic Choose didn´t work, and the I couldn´t choose by manual. There were all common austrian cellphones providers
(such as 3AT, TMOBILE, A1), but not mine, which is telering.
So I thought i gonna recovery the settings ("com.sec.android.providers.downloads 2.3.6), which I backed up before using Titanuim Backup,
but it don´t work either.
My APN settings have my telering web setting, but I can´t find any possibilty to get into my mobile phone network.
Can someone help me pls?
greetings
