HI GUYS....
This rom is only for people who are open minded and dont blindly believe ICS is better than GB when it comes to performence.
I changed so many ICS roms but was never satisfied. Stock ICS and roms based on stock were very laggy, CM9 based were unstable (in my opinion) and had low volume, LED bar issues.
So i decided to go back to GB till Sony rolls out Jelly bean or some absolutely perfected CM9 build comes out.
GB is really lightening fast.

WHAT'S NEW
I made this rom to improve overall UI of the rom. Now it looks awesome (I guess)
Added new bootscreen
Many people complained of missing apps in V1, may be i removed them because i dont use them.
So this time i have not removed any app. But make sure to remove the apps which you are not using, it will fasten the rom
Added some buildprop edits for better performance and battery.
Also added few important apps which will be installed automatically after first boot.
You can chose from two launchers. Xperia Home and MiHome
MiHome is included in the rom. You can install S3 theme if u like.. Link for theme is below

No lag, smooth UI, running smoothly and without major problems. I surely must have forgotten that the GB was so good and fast, probably will not return anytime soon to ICS, CM9 is fast but has too many bugs and Stock ICS is functional but also has bugs. Long life to the GB.

This method works if you are coming from Stock ICS, must work with CM9 too
PERSONAL TIPS FOR EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE
1.Freeze/uninstall all the apps and services you are not using..
2.Use screen off profile- Min & Max clock freq set to 200 MHz with powersave governor (I use CPU master Pro for this)
3.Also use DS battery saver pro..
4.Slightly underclock to 800 MHz with conservative governor to hugely improve the battery life (still performance will be much better than ICS @ 1 GHz)
With these, battery comes down only about 3-5% after whole night.

Guys, I spend a lot of time working on this ROM making everything work and need to buy a new computor because my computor I use is very very old and it always reboots so I can't evem upload files let alone debug files. in order to speed up compiling and debugging my ROM/kernel and I am not demanding donations but if you appreciate my work and want to speed up how fast I make innovative updates then a donation will make a big difference.

rom is fast and stable and good battery life after several hours of heavy use.
the only problem I have is the auto rotate is inverse in xperia neo. I changed kernel but it's still a problem. I've turned it off for now and it's not a problem but I believe it needs to be fixed.

the first time i flashed it on my NeoV , i had the problem too. Although i forgot to flash neo v's patch, after i flashed it, the problem was fixed. Until the dev provides a fix, If autorotation is a hastle for you, id suggest you to flash the fix, but you WILL lose your camera.

Will be fixed for next release.
Btw guys, I recommend replacing Apex launcher with ADW which is a lot smoother and less choppy. If you do that you can really feel the project butter In launcher + general UI and multitasking
So what are the differences between this and jj's hybrid? I'm on it now and would like to switch to something more stable but don't know if this would be it

I think you should read through my Xperia Arc thread, that has been running since v1 and everyone there loves it. Just use the search button on the thread and you will find awnser to your questions. Look through changelog also

Lockscreen problem?
FINALLY got it downloaded i guess somethings wrong with the internet at home =D. At any rate, nice rom thus far i too experienced the orientation problem, but also any changes made in the Rom Control/Lockscreen do not reflect? Anyone else having this problem?

Guys...I have found the solution for play store server error.
The problem is in the patch...get neo v/neo patch from pureness thread and replace build.prop of pureness with beautiful ICS.
Done...wait for sometime and you will get updates available notification.

OK..now these are the steps to get playstore working.
1.remove vending.apk from ROM zip in winrar.
2.get the neo/V patch from ThilinaC's pureness thread and replace the build.prop in it with beautiful ICS build.prop...also in winrar.
3.Flash as usual...create account and then run playstore.
4.If showing server error then clear data and force stop playstore.
This will solve the error.

no fukin idea :silly: but dont worry.. i dont take things from roms.. it's maybe a Mod or something.. dont remember exactly, i started taking notes of the things i added and where i find them at v3...

i'll add back to kill at v4, dont really know if i will add cpu control, and why camera quality is bad? check that it is at 5 MP, if not move it to 5 MP..

pls. this option instaal on your rom
1-wake to press volume key
2-wave type on answer call.
3-icon to kill app on recent app like miui.
4-rom control.
5-the process of free ram on emelutor is deficult if this process is easy it's better like on like on icon and then all progress is done
tanksfor hard working.

mm i will add some of this.. the problem is that i'm having bootloops installing MODS.. so after v4, i will start a new project with less scripts & Mods (doesnt mean it will be worse or less perfomance)
so at v4, i will finish the project with More Visual, AOSP, you will feel the difference.

A: This is Stock, that mean GingerBread 2.3.6

A: Indeed, i just made changes in styles.xml on framework-res... I change all text sizes and default icons size ( smaller ) to be look like more dpi on our QVGA. Rather than change dpi value in build.prop that could be mess the apps will not works. This is a better way to make better on visuallization...
Q: I hate this backgound, how do i change it?
A: Very simple, just follow this steps:
- Copy your framework-res.apk into your SD Card
- Send it to your PC
- Open it with WinRAR or 7z.
- Navigate to /res/drawable/
- You will see yakuza_background.png this is what you looking for
- Prepare your any .png file then rename it to yakuza_background
- Are you sure has change it as the same named?
- If yes, now just drag and drop your .png into /res/drawable/
- Let the file replaced then just select OK in message pop-up
- Send it back to your phone
- Use Root explorer or simillar apps
- Copy your new framework-res.apk to /system/
- Yes, DO NOT straight to /system/framework/ because you will ends with bootlooping
- In /system/ folder, change your new framework-res.apk permission to rw-r-r--
- Then change owner and group as root-root
- Now you can move it to /framework/ folder
- When paste it, select OK in prompt message
- Get out of there then reboot your phone
- Enjoy your fav background....

Just one small bug. When you have too many notifications filling up the top of the status bar, it'll crash and disappear. Happened to me when I was restoring apps in Titanium Backup and was too lazy to clear notifications. Otherwise, this is a great rom. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Oh, I've been around occasionally when I had the time. Just been busy with other stuff. In any case, it's good to be back.
Btw, it crashes in any app that uses Webview, I think?
So some other browsers e.g Dolphin Browser Mini and any other apps crashes too. It only crashes when you try to load a webpage though not anywhere else like settings or something.
Any idea what's happening there?
hi... do you having problem with Gmail, Mms settings force closes? so do i...
but i was fixed it n will update V2 soon...
plus change default browser to Chrome. it's faster...

Really!? Wow, that was quick. Any chance of upload or is your network still not behaving properly?
One of my favourite apps isn't working so I'd thought I would ask, just for the sake of that app.
Actually, is there way to release a small zip file that fixes the problem? It'd be alot easier that downloading 100mbs all over again...

i wish i can just make a Hotfix, but it's impossible...
coz it's need lots of set perm, sync, n symlinked...
i'm afraid that won't works properly with just Hotfix... maybe it will fix some apps fcs...
i hope i can upload it on sunday...

This rom is a modification of Cyanogenmod to bring MIUI feel while maintaining the fast performance (and optionally the look) of Cyanogenmod.
As the MIUI roms are quite heavy i created this rom for personal use but because it turned out better then i expected i desited to share it with the community.

This antutu was ran under the performance governor since InteractiveX is no good for benchmarking.

You probably did something wrong. Don't call it a fail . Make sure it wasn't your fault and if there VB is something wrong report it so the dev can fix it. Don't call their work a fail. If you don't like it just don't use it and stop being ungrateful.

The only time this happend to me i forgot step 3 of the install instructions while i was testing.
Can you confirm you also have this issue in ICS mode?

sure its his error on installation..even i forget to do it one time and flickers like he said..just go back to recovery menu and run it in ICS stock mode. then post some results or bugs.:good:
i have a feelling he desinstall the rom in that second screen flick:laugh:

From my own experiance using the rom,
1.Seems fine no xloud though
2.With the bundled kernel you get 480P recording with others it may be possible to get 720P
3.Free ram is around 150MB but the init.d tweaks may reduce it further when you are ingame.
4.The only known FC happens when you try to activate the cyanogenmod updater from the settings menu wich no longer is in the rom.
This ROM is smooth, has okay battery life, and pretty good performance in gaming for ICS. But the only thing I found was that the touchpads don't work in every game, it doesn't work in NOVA 3. And also, it doesn't recognize ADB when the USB is plugged into the computer. But overall, I'm loving this rom.
