Hi everyone it seems that no matter what kernel I'm using the minimum CPU frequencies don't stick. Is there anyway around this? Thanks

Max 1200, min 200 ...... DO NOT USE PROFILES, our phone can not handle them for some reason, regardless of ROM/kernel....also i would advise NOT checking "set on boot" as the majority of users have been experiencing problems where your settings will reset to dangerously low clocks....even if you uncheck it your settings will be preserved upon reboots
Do you use ondemand or something else.

Do i have to check enable in profiles? I set teo profiles. One is battery 30% max 800 min 100. Second is screen off max 400 min 100. I never checked enable before but one i did and locked my phone it went into sleep mode where it wouldn't wake up.

no profiles are needed just set the clock speed and set it to conservative
Is your phone still dead? Can you very into download mode?

STOP! Profiles really aren't necessary as your phone automatically does things like lower cpu speed when screen is asleep... Only make a profile for really low battery or really high temp. AND DONT SET anything low like 200 mhz or 300 mhz, around this area some phones CAN NOT wake up...
I'm running nightmare sense 1.6 and my Cpu max values never stay at the value I set, and sometimes go to 1728 even though I set the max at 1512
It's draining my battery like crazy what can I do?

What are u using to set up your CPU frequency and try fixing your permissions 2 I use "Set CPU" and I always set mine to 1.2ghz also switched from nightmare sense to speed rom 8.0... If u can't buy it try asking someone who has remember is not piracy when you share stuff hahah

OK thanks I think I didn't flash the kernel properly and I re flashed and now it seems to be ok

Since 200 mhz and 300mhz use the same voltage , should i just change my min speed to 300 instead of 200?

When it runs at 200Mhz, it is able to go into deep sleep if inactive. I would leave it as it is. There is no benefit to setting it higher.
Alright thanks! Will do

I really need help every time I change my setting in any kernel tweak app it resets to 1ghz min and 1.5 GHz max I tried using trickster mod to turn of mpdecisions but no matter what I do nothing will stick and its starting to piss me off any one have a solution?

Your device is rooted and has busybox, supersu 1.80+, etc? Also did you press apply after disabling mpd?
Yes yes and yes

Have you tried other cpu apps? It's not normal for trickster to not save the settings you change.

Try another kernel, like the one in the psx+psk thread.

Check and make sure that your min frequency really isn't going below 1026 MHz. mpdecision has a side effect with most kernel tweak apps that they will show the min frequency being bumped back to 1026 MHz (or whatever mpdecision is set at for your kernel) but you should actually see that the frequency is lowering to what you set it to at idle.
Touch boost causes mpdecision to boost to 1026 if you watch it for a min it will go back down until you touch it again.
