OK so here's the deal I've been trying to get Paranoid Android compiled for the ruby but i have a few issues. First it in not sire what to add for our device in the manifest. Second is I synced with CM first so i decided to try to build anyway and this is the error I got: http://pastebin.com/5A0zaNdt. Any help would be so much appreciated.

It's not since HTC aren't fully cooperating with our definition of open source. They refuse to release the source for the TI wifi drivers so it makes it very difficult to compile custom kernels.
AND
We can't get s-off. So don't ask.
AND
We still can't flash boot.img files (kernels) by recovery.
AND
We don't have a lot of developers here in the Amaze section to begin with. Poor xboarder.
I would love to know what is the reason that we don't have a cm7 for the amaze lets work together on something here thanks.

Closing before this turns ugly.
Tell HTC to release the full source so we can have cm, then ask the cm team.
Greetings everyone,
Yesterday it itched me, there is no paranoid android for the hox+ as of yet! Thus it startled me to try to make my first rom port from the hox:silly:
Everything fine, I got all day, taking my time, comparing the roms etc etc.. You know how it goes haha!
So after some process and managing to get it booted and most things working, I can't get the Paranoid Preferences to work nor the System from the settings menu
I've uploaded the ROM, hopefully someone will be able to help me and otherwise I hope I got someone an awesome idea to do this properly and build it from source!:fingers-crossed:
I, unfortunately, do not have the resources nor the knowledge as of now to do this myself..
Rom download: removed
Any help or suggestions are welcome!
Kind regards,
aardappel12
P.S.: All credits go ofcourse to Lloir for the awesome CM10 base and to Floatshow for his PA2.53 ROM for the HOX!
I'm pretty sure half of your problems are, that your using lloirs CM framework, the prefs.apk will need the PA framework porting.

Yea, tried porting the framework from the PA rom but it wouldn't boot up.. Made a logcat but I'm still too noobish to make out of what the culprit was haha
I'm guessing building from source would take care of these framework problems etc?

Apologies for that, was also merely trying to get this working for personal use. Seeing as it's an outdated version of Paranoid Android, I'm guessing the demand for this would be minimum.
But yea, once again, my apologies.
Google just started pushing the Android 4.3 open source code to AOSP (Android Open Source Project) under the tag android-4.3_r2.1

Time for CM 10.2?

Not me. I currently have xposed framework installed with icon changer and status bar editing installed. Also had lock screen icon changer but their was not a lot of options so I uninstalled it. Cm10.1 still running smooth after all my tinkering.

The title basically States my question. I noticed that the HTC EVO 4G LTE already has a cyogen mod kitkat 4.4 ROM. I'm not sure if there already is one out for the HTC evo 3d. Or if there is one being developed. But either or it would be really cool to have Android 4.4 on the htc evo 3d CDMA. Thanks for any answers. And to all the developers that make all of these ROMs possible!

ill 2nd that, smoothest rom yet , now if we could just figure out the data issue with the cdma version
I'm trying out the CyanogenMod 11.0 - VILLUMINATI Rom and it's pretty nice too. I'm on virgin mobile though and noticed a few things. Like I get a FC on the default messenger when I go to settings and I've had trouble with mms.
I am also using the Liquid Smooth 3.0 and it runs fine, except for my gps battery draining problem, i mentioned here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50584506&postcount=6
I also had 2 random reboots within 2 weeks of using it (not nice, but "acceptable")
liquid smooth is amazingly smooth especially with art enabled. but then none of my streaming apps work with art enabled. the only issue that i've seen with liquid now is that the headphone output get muffled if you switch from your music program to another program and you have to reboot to fix it aside from that it's the dopeness
