How 'bout you try using SE update service? Whenever I bricked my phone without a solution, reflashed with seus and everything worked. Of course, I cannot for sure say that it'll work, but give it a try.

Please press thanks if I helped .

Hey man hi , about that i already tried using SE today and nothing changed . Anyway if anyone can respond is there something like driver for sound in these android which comes with software . It seems i will have to take it to the service.
this is funny because i just left my phone today for repair due to the external speaker, i was watching a youtube video and the speaker went crazy and then silent (the battery was very hot as well)... I tryed to flash the original firmware just to make sure it was not a custom rom bug or error but nothing changed...the speaker was dead... So for me the only solution was to take it for repair, lucky for me it was still in warranty. if your's is in warranty as well, better put the original firmware again and take it for repair as well, it will almost for sure be the speaker that died...

When playing any kind of sound (game, music etc.) after some time (sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes an hour, sometimes 1 minute) my phone starts producing crackling noises through the speaker or my headphones. The problem randomly appears and randomly dissapears. It is the same for the loudspeaker, headphones and speaker for calls.
The repair shop said they don't want to repair it, long story, so that's not an option. Any advice on what to do?
EDIT:
Btw, it's not a sofware issue. It's the same on the stock ROM and on custom ROMs.

May I say I'm very, VERY curious about that?
I reverted back to the stock software using a firmware flash file here from the forums. Also relocked the bootloader and unrooted. They still claimed it had modified software and wouldn't repair it.
Anyone?
loudspeaker problem
I also have problem with my xperia mini loudspeaker.
It occasionally not functioning at all. I bought mine last June and it happens twice.
I tried rebooting but nothing happened. Earphones are working fine btw.
It seems to be a hardware problem.. Is your phone still on warranty?

Hi all,
I have x10 mini pro, that acts very weird. When Iam on phone with someone, xperia starts turning on and of my microphone, sometimes it turn on loud speaker and display is turning of and on ... My suspicion was, that the proximity sensor is somehow damaged, so I send it to service. After few weeks, they told me, that everything is okay and there is no glitch with phone. But they were wrong, glitch was still there ... Next day I send xperia to service again, again they didn't find anything. I tried to send phone to service at least 8 times, but the result still the same, they just restarted phone to factory setting...
Now Iam wondering if update to new custom rom (e.g. CM9) would solve this problem?
After all these factory resets, experia is hardcore slow, so I need to do something with phone, because it is unusable ...

Well it does, Iam little bit sad about that. Phone is still in guaranty, but I dont know why the original service isn't able to find out that problem. Iam going to try to write to Sony and will see. Have you tried to flash your device to custom rom?
Hi,
I have a SGS2 jus couple of weeks old with Official ICS (unrooted).
I was playing a video on MX Player this morning and suddenly the audio got stopped but the video was playing.
When i tried playing songs from music player the speaker is not working, either with the ringtone.
I tried restarting and even pulled out the battery for sometime but no luck.

the only way u can see that issue is software related is to install a diff kernel, which in turn will void ur warranty.
hence the ideal thing is to visit a nearest Samsung service center, as ur handset is still under warranty
do not mess around with things, so that later ON u repent with

I have this problem before...
I solve this by plugging in my ear phone then unplug it... simple
Maybe you should try this method before wiping your phone :fingers-crossed:

Thats the first thing i did before restart even.
I have done with the factory rest still it does not work so mighth be th hardware problem.
Tomorrow i will b going to SC.
SC replaced the speaker and its working fine...
The reason he said is that the connection points on speaker are damaged it seems. Not much info other than this.

Hi,
Few days ago, I have done factory reset(becouse of lot of apps). And then it started. When I play any sound from headphones or built reproductor I can hear it good for few seconds but after a while I cant hear anything. Because of noise. That noise stops after few seconds when i stop playing sound.According to noise in built reproduktor I thing it will be SW problem. I tried more factory resets...but nothing helped.
Edit: I tried to watch something on YT so I have connected my headphones and my phone just restarted after a few seconds watching a video. Sound was turned off and noise was there still.
Sorry for my bad English.

Same on my device. It's a hardware problem because it is reproduced on miui, cm, stock roms with or w/o sound mods... ;(
How to solve it ?? any idea
get in download mode to reflash the rom
The board need to be replaced. Go to the LG service center and ask for help. I have changed it once without telling the unlocked bootloader. They replaced a new locked bootloader board for me. Good luck:good:
So i did. On friday i will have some news about my device. The noise was so loud that it woke up my wife late night
I just got back my device from LG Service. They repaired mainboard (?) and replaced a ribbon(??). and ofc locked my bootloader <), But there is no annoying noise!
There is no noise on headphones/speaker/loudspeaker and no noise on callers device... i guess this was not the first device on LG Service

Most likely , they did not change the board , only fresh the firmware
Lg's service is horrible , they are always lying
Do a recovery update from the lg mobile support tool on your pc. This will wipe everything, but re install the os, potentially fixing the problem.

Hi,
I need help. My Xperia mini suddenly starts to make this noise (attachment), when I try call someone or receive a call. The record lies. The loudness is the same all the time. It neither depend on other sounds nor volume level of the phone. The noise is made by earphone and it neither occure in hands free mode nor in headphones. It doesn't occure in service testing mode either (it clearly plays some voice and music without any distortions). I use stock ICS rom. I tried factory reset and reflash firmware with SEUS but nothing have worked so far.
Any ideas?
So today I tried downgrade to android 2.3 via Flashtool and the problem is still there. Do you think it's software issue or hardware? Flashing new rom should have solve that, but it didn't. Could it be some electromagnetic interference? Something like a noises in radio/speakers when a phone is too near? I'm pretty desperate, please try help me.

if you flash a stock rom (like GB or ICS) with flashtool & problem still there = its 100% HW fault. (because we know ICS dont have this bug)
maybe try also flash ICS again if then problem persist its 100% HW fault.
sry
Yeah, I think, It's HW problem, too. Maybe some bad shielding or something. And yes, I did flash ICS again and the problem persist.
Well, thank you, I appreciate it. At least you confirmed my thought.
