OK so I always use xda developers app but every once in a while when I pull it up it will pull up that all my participated topics and the unread topics are gone. It says there are no topics under both of those tabs. I normally just uninstall and reinstall and its fine but I've done this and it still says that. I've also tried checking it out on tapatalk and it says that to. So is this a problem with the xda server or is it something with my phone

Tapatalk says it has been disabled in XDA APP. Anyone else getting this when clicking participated tab?

It happens to me once in a while not a biggie. Just close xda app and wait a few minutes and its back up.
I closed xda app and even reboot same ****. Is your participated tab working?

Edit...guess we have put every thread in favorites
Edit edit...that don't work right either.
Just so you know the paid tapatalk is doing the same thing so could be xda site causing it.
I've been having this problem as well

mine doesn't give the error of the tapatalk, but my other vibrant does.
strange eh?
Mine still works no errors at all now but it had happened before I treated it just like I treat facebook when it says unable to retrieve messages just wait it out
Reinstalled XDA APP still a no go .
After reinstalling I get the same message. After about half an hour I checked again and it worked.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I knew when I blamed it on xda site someone would fix it
Confirmed working here again as well on both phones!
Mine now works

Anyone else having problems with the XDA APP?
It's not displaying topics or favorites. Keeps saying can't find posts or that it failed to connect to database.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Works fine for me. Check your connection and clear your app data if the problem persists.

I've had similar problems before the only solution that worked for me was un installing and reinstalling the app. Any one use ivona speech engine, I'm having issues with it, keeps stop responding, along with Facebook after latest update.

Mine was doing it earlier but it's fine now

I had same issues so I had to switch to Tapatalk app. That works perfectly for me.

Get rid of the ad blocking apps. For some reason, they don't play nicely with the XDA app.
My first post!
Rolled back a version here, now works. Hope it's not because of ad blocking...

Decided to remove the app and reinstall it.
All working fine now.

I use AdAway. No issues on the XDA app.
Its funny because I thought I was the only one having issues with the xda app. Didnt want to make a thread because I thought "it works fine for me" statement would be the only response. This is both xda and xda premium app for some reason.
Im having issues on 3 samsung devices. Galaxy note, sg3 and galaxy note 10.1.
Thanks to the previous poster that posted link to xda app support bug thread.
Mines been doing stuff lately, I believe it's all server side.
First my profile "didn't exist" that came back 2 days ago
Yesterday I got something like " search not available "
All ok today though.
I'm sure I read a few days back they've been changing stuff on the server.

Yeah mine has been mashed for a while. Keeps fc and can't go on search posts I've done.

How come whenever I launch the XDA app and I go to participated threads it shows no topics. Same goes for unread and all. This has never happened before and I tryed reinstalling it but no luck.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
It happens all the time actually...
Server maintenance or.... could be gremlins
I always kill the XDA app then start it or it takes forever to get the topics.
Gremlins obviously... no but yeah maybe server maintenance. I'll try killing it then re starting it

This is still not working... Ugh.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Killing it then starting it is the only thing that works. The app is for the most part pretty pathetic.
I can't kill the app with TiBa since it needs supersu pro. Any ideas?

Push and hold the home button. All your open apps show. Either swipe them or push the 'kill all' button (depends on your rom). That closes it. Then when you open it, the app has to go get fresh info from the server.

You can always access it through the browser and use cp to see your participated threads during these times of app/site disconnect.

The HTC first can handle all notifications (email, whatsapp) with the facebook home app, however phones that download the app can't.
I believe that this is due to permissions, does anyone know if us rooted users would be able to give the same permissions so that we can have all notifications?

Anyone else having problems with xda app, takes forever to login then fails, saying failed to login. I can sometimes see the subjects but can't get into threads. Internet access etc and other apps are working fine!
No, you are not the only one with the problem. XDA servers kinda refuses to cooperate.
