I've searched high and low for this but can't find any information. Does anyone know what is the source of the Android that comes pre-installed on various Chinese/Taiwanese tablets with Intel Atom (x86) processors? Is an image available somewhere?
I'm pretty sure it can't just be Android-x86 as these tablets often use Atoms with PowerVR SGX 5xx graphics which IIRC are not supported by Android-x86.
Android x86 is open source so its possible they use the Android x86 source and add their own drivers to it.

I have a Velocity Micro Cruz Tablet t103 and have been looking into OS's that install on MIPS processors. This has the JZ4760 and I have been scouring websites on how to flash a different OS to the device but no dice. Does anyone have a clue if there are custom Android Roms or other OS (From Windows to Linux)?
Hello,
We are currently porting Android4Sam development to a custom board that has an ARM sama5d31 processor but has no display.
Can somebody suggest a stable Headless Android 4.0 ICS development branch, so we can cherry-pick the changes needed to make the device headless?
Naive: Is there a way to pretend the display either on kernel level or to have a display emulation so the Android core services don't need to be patched?
Thank you
Well a while back i had installed android x86 4.0.4 rc2 and the libhoudini arm binaries to get the games like angry birds to work, my question is can those binaries work on android x86 4.2 builds? Also, does anyone still have the links?

Hey Guys,
I have a Xolo X1000 that runs on the Intel Atom Z2480 processor. I came across the Android x86 4.4 RC2 version that was made for x86 processors on laptops netbooks, etc. was just wondering if it could be possible to put this Operating System i.e the Android x86 4.4.2 RC2 version into my phone that currently runs a 4.1.2 JB. i guess there would be some modifications to the Build required..
Looking forward for some help from the Devs
Thanks
