Nexus 4 16gb for LTEVO? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Long story short.... I've Been offered a N4 & $200 for my LTEVO. This business suit wearing guy spotted me this morning with LTEVO, after a slight discussion of root etc & HTC.... He made this offer. What do you guys think? Low storage on n4 is a killer, but man its a beauty up close.

My thoughts as well. I didn't get that one.
#Root-Hack_Mod*Always=LTE

You can always buy another evo and put a 32 or 64 gb sd card in there for your music, videos and pics and then use the N4 as your daily driver
Edit. Which has the better cam? I know N4 has 13 mega pixels but Sense 4 is still among the tops of all phones.

Exactly, I bought an evo for a friend of mine on ebay two months ago for $200, free shipping, with a few extras and the evo was in mint condition. Someone offer me a nexus 4 and $200? There wouldn't be anything for me to think about. Seriously, a used nexus 4 goes for about $250 minimum on ebay, the OP could easily resell the nexus 4 and simply get another evo and you would pocket 250 just for the slight inconvenience.

I was planning on trading in my Evo 4G anyways and holding onto my Evo 3D as a backup. Too bad the extra $50 is with a new line of service.
I pre-ordered through Wirefly, any chance I could take advantage of this? The phone will be on a brand new line on a family plan. Sprint lists my Samsung Captivate buy-pack at $62 and with an extra $50 the Evo 4G LTE will have cost me nearly nothing out of pocket.
They're offering $90 for a 3D. I told the rep "Didn't you guys offer up to $150 for the OG EVO on the 3D release? Hell, ima classifields this one..."

That's what I'm saying. Yes, I'd love to upgrade to the Evo LTE, but why should I? I have 4G service already(7-9Mbps anytime of day). I have 3 batteries(neverending power) and a Ballistic case(won't be breaking my phone) on my Evo 3D...While the specs are better on the SGIII and Evo LTE, I just can't justify getting a new phone yet with all the money I've spent on this phone. I am eligible for an upgrade though. And I can always change my mind once I physically see and touch one of the new generation phones. But I'm pretty happy with my Evo 3D for now.

It's going to be really hard to go from an evo 3d to an iPhone...
4.3" touch screen to 3.5" touch screen
Plus you go from 4 capacative buttons to 1 home button
iOS is a lot different than Android
No 4g on the iPhone
No ability to use custom Roms
I'd recommend the 4g LTE because honestly its not that much bigger than the 3d. Plus its thinner and lighter than the 3d. Hahaha I just really dislike apple and the iPhone
I think the E3D is the perfect size, maybe a tad too thick. The current Iphone is WAY too small.
Going to an iPhone because a new phone has a bigger screen? Dramatic much? Just stay with the 3D until HTC releases a smaller phone, or get used to the size. It's really not that bad and I have really small hands. (I've got the pleasure of holding one..)
No need to downgrade your phone because you don't like one you don't own.

At Besy buy today, and see you get $50 off bringing it to $150, then he says trade in the evo 3d and get $100 more off. So im asking a stupid question and should know the answer but want to ask people that have the phone already. Would I be crazy to pass this phone up for $50?
That is a really good deal. If you liked your Evo 3D you will hopefully love this phone!

It's worth more at BB if you have the Buy Back program. They gave me $350 for my Epic Touch. If u dont have Buy Back I think that is accurate. Radio Shack gives even less. You can/should definitely get more for it elsewhere like Craigslist. But it is a major step up from the 3D in every aspect. Only thing it lacks is removable battery but the battery life so far has been awesome!

HTC One

So I don't know if anyone else is thinking about getting this phone, it has caught my interest. I went to the Sprint site to see what's going on there, and they are advertising it as coming soon. I went to check my upgrade eligibility and then looked at current phones they have. To my surprise the OG Evo is selling higher than the LTE with 2-year contract. To top it off the OG is preowned. That's crazy right?
Anyways, what's everyone think of the new HTC phone?

I have neither, and I guess they priced them differently for upgrade pricing. I checked again and it is cheaper if you sign up as a new customer. I never post on these forums but I thought maybe someone would be interested in some nerd discussion. Thanks for the replies, but in my opinion, its crazy to still sell a phone that old in any condition.

Yea. Samsung phones have always felt cheaper to me. The interface is definitely nothing compared to sense. The only things that turn me away from the One, is that it doesn't have an expandable sd slot. Then again, neither does my iPod and I never run out of space on that. Then again, it is an Apple product. I'd like to know which developers are going to the One, that could also be a sway. Imagining Viper on it, I think HTC should hire some of our developers to perfect the interface.

Real question is does The One replace the Evo branding. I don't believe HTC would make Sprint or any carrier specific variant of The One. This is exactly what they are trying to get away from. They want 1 device on every carrier that they can market the crap out of(ala galaxy). What do you guys think about that? I love my EVO LTE, I think its superior to the GS3 and I love having a phone that people ask "what the heck is that" because it looks different. Is this the end of the EVO or just going to delay the EVO launch until the luster of The One is over??

If HTC sticks to the whole one phone for all carriers (which they would be smart to do so). Then there is no more Evo.

The Next Evo?

Maybe the Evo isn't dead yet.. What if that new Butterfly S that was suppose to be the next DNA is coming to sprint? It's got the right colors to be an Evo. Happy I didn't use up my upgrade yet.

It's definitely gonna be a nice phone! I owned the Evo 4G, still have my Evo 3D with about 6 extra batteries , and still have 2 Evo LTE (1 in each color). That said, I could care less if it has the Evo name or not, to be honest, I don't care if it's named HTC Turd! Lol. A name is just that, a name. It has nothing to do with the phones features and functionality! If it doesn't have an sd card slot then I won't even consider it! The One is a huge disappointment to me with no sd card slot and only a 4.7" display! That's why I now have a Note 2. I wanted a bigger display and gotta have an sd card slot! After 6 or 7 years of nothing but HTC phones, this Samsung is a very nice change(NEVER thought I would EVER say that)! It's nice to not have to worry about s-off/unlocking the bootloader, since Samsung doesn't lock their sh1t down like HTC does!! Oh, also nice being able to swap batteries again! One of the first things I did was order an extra battery! Almost forgot how awesome it was being able to swap batteries in my Evo 4G and Evo 3D!!

Well the One doesn't have LTE800 and it's going to start popping up soon so I'm ready to have a phone with both LTE bands ready to go. (assuming that this is all true and if the Butterfly S does in fact have the correct radios for LTE 1900+800).The One on Sprint has such a crappy antenna design when it comes to LTE and 1X...I didn't use my upgrade on it so I'm ok with the switch if need be.
