Hi. New here, have a question if anyone can post a reply pl? ATT pushed a new ~330MB update overnight on the Galaxy S3 and requesting to install it. Not sure if I want to update it till I know what that includes. My phone is new from past 2 months, not rooted no changes, all stock. Thanks.
There's no way of knowing what's in it, samsung doesn't release changelogs, and you didn't even provide the version.

I am new to android. I am looking for the Official update to Gingerbread for my Galaxy Ace. When I say Official I mean from Samsung not one of the leaked/cooked versions. Is there a Gingerbread update available for the Galaxy Ace on Orange in the UK?

All answers are here in DEVELOPMENT section, just find them, dont start the new thread like "how". All this what you asked is there. I understand, that you new, but if everyone starting thread how to flash(but the threads are already there), then I think we just havnt enough time to answers all these questions. I dont want to be rude, but just look in development section and read little, you get all you ANSWERS!

Hi Guys, just rooted and clockworkmod'd my verizon s3. Is there a cyanogenmod custom rom for this phone yet or too early? If not can anyone recommend a solid rom?

Hi, I just recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2X and it is rooted and currently running DarkSide.TLLE4.v1 ROM. I wanted to try out different ROMS, but i couldn't see the section for this model. I'm not sure if the T-Mobile S2 development section is for this phone as well. If someone could redirect me to the correct forum, i'd highly appreciate that.

This is my first post on here, so please be gentle with me....
I've got a Galaxy S3 and courtesy of my network provider, I've got the phone unlocked.
Am I now able to replace the branded Rom in the phone with a stock rom (ie one downloaded from Samsung's site but with no network bloat), or is that something that people wouldnt recommend..?

Questions go in the q&a forum, report your own post and ask a moderator to moved it.
Network unlock is irrelevant to your rom, you could always have flashed whatever firmware you wanted.
I'd suggest you read the guides and sticky thread before do anything.

The problem I'm having is finding the latest ROMs. Is there any way to find the latest official ROMs for the phone? And if I download an unofficial one, how can I know which will run well on my phone? Do I just simply get the latest unofficial ROM?
Lastly, if any one has any step by step guide or video on how to root and install ROMs it would be much appreciated as I've never done something like this before. Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to this site and have been having trouble navigating and searching old posts.

I suspect the reason that you haven't gotten any responses in the last day or so is that you are on the wrong part of the Forum! This is the area for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7" Tablet, not the Galaxy S3 Smartphone.
You might want to take a look over here for the T-Mobile S3.
