Battery temperature too high? - AT&T LG Optimus G

Hi all, longtime lurker
I searched around a little and didn't really find a solid answer to this, soo: After installing the 4.1.2 Jellybean Rom I have noticed that my battery seems to run hotter for all tasks. Before I updated it would idle under 20C and would only go above 30C if I was using video chat or some other intensive program. Now it will idle around 23-25C and even listening to music will send the battery over 30C. Now I don't know yet if the battery life is affected because I haven't had JB for a whole day. So is this something to be concerned about? What is a normal battery temperature and when should I be worried?
Thanks for any answer. These forums are awesome.

From my experience, Jellybean is more performance demanding. Kicks up the CPU frequencies quite a lot more than ICS does which is why I'm a die hard fan of ICS.

Sorry. I realize this brings nothing to the discussion. It's just what I thought of when I read the OP.

Normal battery usage?

Hi, I've just bought the Galaxy S3 and as expected, I play with it a lot as it's a new toy. I was just wondering if the battery usuage is as expected from this phone? I know in a few weeks the battery will last longer as I wont play with as much as I am now. Here are some screenshots:

For stock rom, your battery usage looks good and normal. Don't worry about the cell standby usage. It just reporting wrong figure.

Yeah, it's normal. Sometimes in weekends I'm playing on it a lot and looks pretty similar with your results.
However, I have it for over 2 months already, so after 2 months, a normal day will look like this:

Sorry, can't post links yet
Looks pretty normal to me too...

[Q] tegra_spi.1 is partying hard all night, every night

For some reason, every night when my MB860 is plugged into the charger, the tegra_spi.1 system process goes nuts with CPU usage. With a name like "tegra" I assume it has something to do with the GPU, but a quick google and forum search gave me no answers other than a few people with a Photon having a similar problem, but no one seems to know why. I have no live wallpaper, or any other apps/widgets running that I can think would be using the GPU. Very strange that it only goes nuts when I'm not using the phone.
It isn't terribly important, because it only seems to happen when the phone is charging, so I'm not worried about battery drain. But I am worried about wear and tear; my experience with PCs is that the more you use a component, the shorter its lifespan will be.
Here's a couple screenshots from System Panel:

Anyone know what might be causing this? I am running the latest October build of mmontuori's MROM on an Atrix MB860.

New Google Search causing wakelocks?

I have 3 apps to track battery usage. Crpalmers kernels have always yielded above average battery life so I don't review the apps very often until recently. I use better battery stats, battery stats plus and and the stock HTC power menu. I find the apps on both BBS and bsp are sometimes completely different for what's using the battery but usually they are similar. I know how to figure if wakelocks are plaguing the device and I think I see proof of that here in the screenshot. The battery drain issue seems to be GPS so I'm turning it off completely now. This all started after the most recent Google search update. Can anyone confirm or deny my statements, I'm not an expert but eager to learn more about how the device tends to misbehave.

Experiencing severe battery problems for the last 2 days. Cananyone diagnose? CM 10.2

So for the last two days I've been experiencing rapid battery loss. I'll post pictures of both my system specs and my battery drain. It claims that it's the Android System. I feel like it's a program that's constantly running or something. Can anyone help? Have any similar issues? Thanks. Also, the battery would normally last for like, 15-17 hours EASILY with 20-30% to spare.

Use WakeLock detector and try to detect, which part of your System is draining your Battery so hard. In my case, the AudioOut_2 is not disabling correctly in some cases, causing little higher Battery drain. But you will find another bug related with CM.
Just downloaded. I shall use it and check it out. Oddly enough, the battery problem only happens every few days...

[Q] [Help]Insane wakelock report

Hello guys. I have had this problem with MK6 ROM and it was the main reason that made me change to NeatRom(which I don't regret).
But lately it has returned and I have no idea why, but my phone is reporting insanely huge CPU wakelocks mainly from a process called AlarmManager (I don't know if it has something to do with the clock but last week my alarm didn't work and I would have lost my time to job if it wasn't my mother).
Do you guys know what can be happening? Is it a system issue or is it some app that is causing this amount of wakelocks?
I do use Greenify and almost everything I don't need is greenified but I have noticed some things like Google+ and S Sugest(which I greenified) just come back no matter what I do.
(Overall phone is behaving a bit slow sometimes too, which didn't happen as soon as I flashed NeatRom.)
Please, any help is welcome
