I went from the old Energy April Release to Quicksense 7.0. I must say Quicksense is fast! Even scored higher on Quadrant. And audio is good! Reason I left Energy was because I had a few minor glitches, mainly in the BT.
Cons though... mainly for me, Leedroid, doesn't have it. I like my 5x5 icons, I like my battery bar on top, and a few other minor things I can do with Energy rom. Another con for me, I can't enable sound effect for the weather, weather widget crashes every time. ;/
The new energy rom just came out and I plan to try it out! Waiting for the download.
I was just curious what you guys prefer and why?
I don't do quadrants..... But quick sense is the best rom I've ever felt on the Amaze on either OS when it comes to performance...
I also liked CapRomCE a ton too...
Very solid

Oh... lol. That sounds really great. I would give it a try right away.
I literally thought you are using stock ROM at the moment (your signature).
I had 1 major issues and 1 minor issues with Quicksense.
Major is was that I could not get music to play through BT using my car's stereo. It would just go through the phone's speaker, even when told it to use my car. My minor issue, I need my 5x5 drawer lol. I love that!
Does anyone know if Energy is based on 2.14.531.3?

Ive ran the new energy rom for a couple of days and it was pretty good speed wise. Battery life was decent. Im now running the new quicksense or quickdroid 8.0 and this roms seems soopa fast or smooth. Ive had good battery life with quicksense 7.0 so im waiting to see how this new version pans out. the best battery life ive had was with eclipzeRemix's Super Sayain rom. But thats when i was on the 531.1 leak.
ive had the best battery life on my rom also

Task and ktoons AOKP is a favorite. Works well and is stable. As is lilchris' PhoneBricker. Both are ICS.
Have only used those two, used many kernels, but like the roms, it's up to the user to decide what is best for them.

That's not for the i777. Why don't you open the development section here on xda and read? There are tons of roms to choose from.

That looks like the international GS2, but as for CM... Never run it so I can't tell you if it's stable (from my experience) or not.
However, another good option would be ShoStock. Never run it, but it's got a great following so shoman must be doing something right!
As was said above me, by some random asshat who also has developed a ROM of his own, try taking a look at the development section and reading up a little on the roms available. Also, make a nandroid backup and then give a ROM a try. Give it a week, try other kernels if it seems a bit choppy. Then try another room if you aren't satisfied.
Once you find one you like, supercharge that mofo!

ARHD 3.0.1 w/ Faux's kernel. I can't keep up to date with all of his damn kernels lol. Need data and bluetooth to work before I use CM.
Used cm9 for a little bit but it isn't stable enough for me, also needs gapps preinstalled to prevent play store issues (those issues don't always happen) so back to super sayain 3 untill I finish up speed rom 7 or cm9 gets data going

+1 I do expect Sense 4 with data.
Fourth Bar Jellybean. Its basically AOSP with the option of having sense apps mixed in. Its win win in my books.
Speedrom! I can't wait for version 7! Although, as soon as sportstar gets data working on CM9, that will be my daily.
Fourth Bar, I'm loving it so far. Enough that it lured me away from speed rom. That rom just never played right with my phone.

A thread was created about this a while back but now times have changed so i wanted to ask for opinion. Sense or pure Google for your liking?
This is my first HTC device and I decided to run stock on this phone and its great! sense is nice and its has replaced many third party apps that i would use on AOSP ROMS. But i do have complains about sense or more particular, Meanrom 4.1+.
I know this device has a large screen and all and battery is beefy but on regular use, im getting about 11-12 hours on MeanRom. I was expecting 16+ hours. its not bad but coming from an LG with an S3 CPU, i feel like i havent moved anywhere with battery life.
Also, The memory seems to be low. Im used to having 300+mb RAM free all the time, now im on this and im between 100mb and 200mb And one more thing is that my screen brigteness doesnt stick to my settings and my cpu control app doesnt stick with my Gorvernor.
What do you guys think? im having a love hate thing here but having S-on, i dont want to constantly switch roms

The images on AOSP JB images look bad compared to the image quality on sense in both rear facing and front facing cameras. Also, im having proximity issues. I'm a huge LTE fan after switching from the Galaxy Nexus, but I'm missing the smoothness. Why is it that the Gnex UI is so much smoother? Isn't the S4 a lot more powerful than the OMAP? The only thing can think is that I have a defective device, or AOSP is simply more optimized for the Nexus devices.
Try Dastins or Evervol 4.2.2 AOSP, Nothing smoother in my opinion.

Sometimes I wonder if everyone is just drinking the same AOSP Kool-Aid because AOSP roms just don't work well at all on my phone, yet everyone keeps posting about how fast and smooth they are. I haven't experienced that at all. Maybe I just have a defective phone, but Sense roms run so much better for me that there's really not even any comparison.

^^^^^^^ weird, sense just lags like mad for me. I never use it. Been playing with sense 5 last few days out of curiosity, and it does have some really strong points, but still feels slow and laggy compared to rootbox and PACman ROMs. And BTW, OP, those are my suggestions. Heard carbon was amazing, but haven't personally tried it yet due to playing with sense 5 last few days.

I guess I'm missing something. I don't get lag when scrolling on anything, with exception of when a webpage isn't loaded or something.
Scrolling through settings? I can flick settings and it scrolls like a motherf'n greased pig through a butter tunnel in a frictionless world going straight down, etc.
Is there something I'm missing? I walked my fingers along the screen and things scroll fine. I don't do as many extra stuff with my phone anymore, so maybe that's it? How much of a lag or stutter could there be?

I'm wondering if this phone was somehow reconfigured internally at some point without it being publicized. Some people are having excellent luck with AOSP roms, and some (like me) are definitely not. What's more, the people having good luck with AOSP seem to have terrible lagging with Sense. CM10.1 is worse than using a single core phone for me, and the experience isn't much different with any other AOSP rom. Sense roms, on the other hand, absolutely fly on my phone.
