Hi , im thinking about to buy a Asus eee pad transformer/prime , can't decide.
and i saw aloooot of reviews and stuff like themes if you root it.
For an example , metro Ui , And Xbox dashboard theme, ive been looking for something to look alike windows.
There are alot of things that makes me want to buy this tablet.
For an example (the primary thing) open it up superfast Open the web browser or check mails really easy and to watch movies.
But since i saw you can also root it and make it play Modern combat 3 with mouse
or just without rooting it play With a xbox360 gamepad.
Sorry got off-topic
But anyways im requesting any theme looking like windows (NOT METRO UI) <
the main reason im not going to upgrade to win8 when it comes, unless you can disable it.
Or otherwise a Mac theme , Or anything to make it really look like a notebook in the home
Im not a android user now but ive had a android phone before i broke it.
Thank you in advance : D!
Theres an xbox theme and tutorial on here if you look around.
Edited, here it is

Quick hijack of this thread, but does anyone know of a lock screen that acts and looks like the Windows Metro one, where you slide the picture up.
Thanks in advance.

Check go locker app. They have that theme but not sure how suited it is for tablet. I use it on Samsung Galaxy S2.

In the release preview how? I hate the metro look on a pc.
There is an app for the phones called launcher 7 but it does not work on tablets, maybe u want to search the play store and ask the creator to make it for tablets too.
Secondly, you could also use splash top to make it look like windows too!
yes, going all the way back to Win8 Developer Preview

Yeah I seen this but not for the release preview, I had to set up a scheduler to bypass it when the pc starts. and use an app to make a start button
For real? I bet if the registry does not allow switching modes out-of-the-box, adding the key or string from the developer preview would fix the problem after reboot.

Does android have a keyboard like this available? It is also like the new bb10 keyboard that RIM featured awhile back.

I never seen something like that... but anyways search "keyboard" in the Play Store, and start to try
I have but did not find anything. The closes is the new swift key keyboard that's under beta, but it does not offer the gesture feature which I liked the most about the bb10 keyboard.
I'm surprise no one has done this?!

Octopus Keyboard now available on iPhone with Cydia, I hope it will be ready in android too. It's amazing !!!
Hi I was just wondering if it would be possible to make a mod where you can shake your Rezound to pause music and play music? I dont know if this is possible as I'm not sure if the Rezound has an accelerometer built in or not. If possible would it be too much to ask to have an adjustable sensit to the shaking?
Thanks in advance

I haven't made any android apps but I've done stuff for pc. And from what I can tell, that shouldn't be too hard to do. Although I'm not the right person to do so I know there is an app building program which helps you build simple apps for Android.. Maybe that could work

You can do this with Tasker. It is a great app, but has a relatively high learning curve. Once you get the hang of it, you can automate a lot of tasks.
It might be worth it to dip into coding java. It's a fun experience and hobby

I can see it now.. Bob says, "Hey gimme a sec let me change my track!" *Shakes phone and it flies out of Bob's hand* Bob screams, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
Is it possible to port a silver light web application into an android app? How would one go about doing this?

I think there was some work done a while ago to port the Linux Silverlight alternative called Moonlight to Android. I don't think it got very far.
Moonlight is missing some things like DRM which Microsoft won't share (no surprise there) so things like Netflix won't work.

Would it be possible to port an silver light application to java and then to android?

That I couldn't tell you. I would imagine you could just write it in Java or C# and make it Android native though
Dexkoz2302 has made a brillant rom for the i605 note 2, and it so great I makes my tablet feel shameful. While it is touch wiz dependent I was wondering if anyone has dabbled in anything like this.

Multi window is currently touch whiz framework dependent. Unless someone ports the touchwhiz framework from samsung to Asus (hasn't happened so far) you have little chance of seeing multi window functionality. Even then it only works with Samsung specific apps........
Someone has ported the sony small apps which gives you some floating apps like a note pad, calendar, calculator. I may have a go at porting these as hardslog has already defined how to do it....
xposed
there is a module on xposed, it works, but is crappy
and, it is not a samsung framework, there is a plenty of roms with multiwindow, but prime almost doesnt have a development and therefore doesnt have that feature
