[Q] Phone crashed last night - last_kmsg included - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Currently running CM10. I woke up this morning to my phone being off, booted up and pulled last_kmsg. I leave my phone charging every night, this is the 2nd time this happened in a week (last time was Friday I think, I forgot to get last_kmsg then though). Here's the end of the file which I think probably contains the important bits, but the entire file is also attached.

[Q] wifi not turning on in samssung galaxy s2 I9100

Suddenly after taking my phone out on a rainy day, my wifi stopped working. I am sure water never went it. I have tried multiple things to make it work like factory reset, changing the ROM to jelly bean and currently running the kernel 3.0.31-siyah-s2-v5.0, model GT-I9100 android version 4.1.2
Kindly Help.I am seeing the dmesg terminal logs as attached and snippet below.

So it seems it gets an I/O error while writing to /dev/mmcblk0p28, which is devlog, AFAICT the internal logfile HTC uses for service requests. It then wants to reboot but crashes during reboot because the eMMC isn't responding at all anymore.
Now my question: Would it be possible to remove the devlog mount? I haven't tried yet since this might lead to a bootloop, and I wanted to ask here for experiences first. Any hints greatly appreciated, also maybe other approaches than removing devlog?

Weird Camera Issue on Sammy (Samsung) ROMs (dmesg included)

Hi XDA community
I have a weird problem on my S3
I can't use Camera with Custom Kernels on Sammy (Samsung) based ROMs (I tried Googy-Max and Boeffla kernel). When I try to access to Camera, applications says "Camera Failed" or "Failed to connect Camera". If I use stock kernel with sammy based ROMs, I can use camera.
And also, I haven't got any problem in CyanogenMod based ROM with custom kernel (Googy-Max).
Here is the last lines of dmesg when I try to access to camera;
Code:

Hi XDA community
I have a weird problem on my S3
I can't use Camera with Custom Kernels on Sammy (Samsung) based ROMs (I tried Googy-Max and Boeffla kernel). When I try to access to Camera, applications says "Camera Failed" or "Failed to connect Camera". If I use stock kernel with sammy based ROMs, I can use camera.
And also, I haven't got any problem in CyanogenMod based ROM with custom kernel (Googy-Max).
How can I fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Does your phone have the latest camera firmware. Not sure if it would help but worth a shot. Search around for camera firmware update/upgrade in the forums. There is a thread that shows you how to check with links to updates.

Just try clearing data and cache for the camera app and reboot and see if it works after that

Galaxy S3 doesn't support external camera update I think. ( I couldn't find )

Tried but no way. This problem is exits in every camera application, not only on sammy camera.
I added the dmesg log to #1 post.
I had the same problem. Try to flash stock with odin and then flash foxhound 2.5. Mine worked after that.

It does. There is a thread about it in the general section. I think they call it camera driver and not firmware, but it is firmware. Type in *#34971539# in the dial pad and check your phone and camera firmware. They should match.

I understand that I need to reflash camera chip and I think it's very risky. I will try to reflash official firmware with ODIN.
I think I found a solution;
First,boot the ROM with original kernel and open the camera. After that,flash any kernel do you want and you have a working camera. But If I wipe /data partition, this problem appears again.

Random reboots caused by SD card I/O problems

My phone keeps randomly restarting for the last three months with ROM Slimbean 0.1 flashed. Usually the phone restarts, when the display is off, but sometimes it restarts out of blue.
After getting the kmsg log, found out, that it might be related with the SD card. The SD card itself is ok, verified with scandisk & the socket seems to be ok, as it always properly mounts after reboot.

I have Link2sd installed, most of my apps are linked to the second partition of the SD card.
Ist it always the same sector?
As an sd-card is extremely cheap, I would replace it to try it.
With scandisk you mean the crappy windows tool?
David.
