You can use VipeRUU. The actual RUU will not be released, for a multitude of reasons that -viperboy- explains in his posts.

[Q] Unrootable atm?

Hi,
i have my new HTC EVO 3D since today and want to root it!
My hboot version is 1.49.0007 and not supported in revolutionary.exe !
Is there a way to root my phone or is it to "new" because my divice is not supported at the moment?
Thanks for answers!
Best regards
did you try and use it or stopped at reading the requirements?
Try to contact alpha rev and give them some confirmation that there's a new hboot in the wild. They haven't released their exploit so HTC almost definitely didn't patch it.
Could be a different GSM version of the HBOOT, seeing as he's not from the USA.
This is the same HBOOT version as the evo3d that was released in Canada last Friday. As far as I know its unrootable at the moment, I did try a couple methods all of which failed.
How can i contact alpha rev??

Confirm that you have a gsm evo3d and if you do I don't believe there is a solution for you yet.
The GSM Version of the 3D uses a different HBOOT which as you found out is unable to be made to S-OFF at the moment. I believe the Temp-Root methods still work though and you could use those.

That Stinks. The Sensations seems to be a half-baked problem child and the EU Evo 3D can't be h4cked for now. HTC
What about the European Sensation aka GSM Sensation, can it be rooted or same issue as with Evo3D?

Think that's the one.
I don't understand. Does that mean Sprint will be releasing an update soon that will update us to that radio then? Or do we have RUU to get it? My radio is 1.02.12.0427.

I believe so if they release it themselves, but I have Never took an update from sprint, all old and new devices I have been updated from here or make'em myself if I'm not too busy
I guess we'll be able to test it in 3 hours when the download finishes.. Filefactory.. useless.

Should this really be posted here? It looks to me like a Chinese version of our phone will be coming out (hence the HTCCN). If it was for the Sprint version, wouldn't it have Sprint in the filename? I'd hate to have someone install it and brick their phone from the incompatible radio. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

He made a very good point. Don't get too excited guys. This is mainly for ROM chefs to poke around and extract anything useful. I'm sure it won't even let us flash the software, since we're not s-off and it's not for Sprint.

Look at that man, 2012!lol
I doubt there's many tweaks and optimizations in this.
Just look at the file size. It's 70 MB larger than the last 2 RUU's
