I have been trying to figure out why my phone constantly cuts in and out it's connection every 3-4 minutes for a few seconds and someone suggested to me that I might have the wrong modem. I am running CM-9-20121209-Nightly with the CM-9 Kernal (3.0.32-CM-ge9cef6c) and I'm not sure how to check the modem, can anypone point me in the right direction?
Odp: Correct modem (possible) for T-Mobile in Germany
Open Phone app and tap *#1234#. There will be 3 strings. Under Phone it's your modem version

Hi,
Got a big problem, I got drunk last night and lost my X10 :/ Is there a way I can locate my phone? There is a signal, but nobody is picking up, so it's probably somewhere out there in a snow. I didn't have any app for tracking installed -.- But I know google keeps trace of my phone, is it possible to force localization check of a phone? I want to use the benefit of being traced my whole life...
Just had a quick search and found something which should help.
Search for "plan B" by lookout mobile security on the android market. If you install it from your PC and read the instructions in the app description it should help.
Hope this helps.

Hi, after reading the thread discussing the Rezound as a global device, I recently purchased one and returned to the UK. I followed the instructions directly on how to acquire signal and so far so good. However, upon attempting to acquire a data service, I seem to be stuck. I have tried both methods numerous times now and have had NO luck whatsoever.
My carrier is called "Three".
I have used WCDMA preferred but to no avail
Could anyone shed any light on why I cannot make any progress please?
Apologies if this has already been covered. Many thanks,
Jim
EDIT: CANNOT GET DATA TO WORK IN UK*
I don't know how to fix your phone but I do know that if you go to edit your post, then go into "advanced edit" you can add the U to your thread title and fix that.

Hi all.
After rooting and installing liquidsmooth (rom) i lost my network connection. My imei was null/null, and tried to install stock firmware and it did not help at all. I found this thread from sammobile www .sammobile. com/forum/showthread.php?t=13140 and it looked pretty promising so i gave it a try.
After section 3 things went more downhill and my phone did not create new datafiles, and that text in screenshot came up. It stays in there until i open a app and comes back when close em.
Also EFS professional did not recognize my phone.
I'm hoping that someone can help me with this problem.
If u guys need more information, just ask.
Sorry for bad english.
-Matias
Edit: got my IMEI back, but that text box still stays. anyone know what to do with it?
Its called 'factory mode'.
Do a search on how to remove it, there's previous threads about this

If you have already tried clean flashing of stock firmware and it did not help then remove the battery and see if there is any carbon on its terminals
I actually noticed that prior to reboot I see "SIM has been removed" alert and phone rebooted automatically. So I will most probably 1st clean the SIM contacts to see if this improves. Thank you anyway.

Hey i have been looking for the stock nougat Roms for this particular model, I have found a site that list them and from my knowledge all the xx10x Roms are Marshmallow and all the xx20x are nougat, maybe im wrong on this but if this true, then I could only find 2 nougat Roms which are "TELCEL" branded and id like a clean stock one.
Could someone Kindly Point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance
