It is a themed version of the ICS mms app. I like the blacks and blues much better. I haven't pm'd the creator of it. Just wondering if anyone would be able to do it.
Use go sms pro and the ICS Theme... looks nearly identical. no porting required.
I recommend Go Launcher EX too.
It also has ICS theme.
Hey all,
I am about to embark on seeing if it is possible to theme the BlurDialer apk to an ICS look and feel.
I just wanted to get thoughts on if this is feasible at this current stage and if anyone has any tips/hints for me to speed up the development of this mod.
Thanks!
Ive got a SGN and the blue dialer is cool but lacks call filtering like Incoming, Outgoing, Missed, ECT
Hello XDA Members,
I want you to join me on a project in creating an theme for the Galaxy Player.
The Goal of this project should be:
- The compatibility to all Galaxy Players
- An consistent theme to all Galaxy Players, it should be modern and themed for everyone.
- It should be available to some launchers.
Everyone is free to join.
Everyone can take part.
At this time, i'm searching members for the project.
Post here and give your idea how it should look like.
Also if you are interested in creating pictures for the theme or coding the theme you also can post here.
First of all we need a name.
Post your Ideas.

Since Samsung hasn't interest in update of our Galaxy Player... We must create a ICS Theme or Launcher very similar to original... That's my opinion cuz i really like the appearance of ICS
this was also an idea of me,
The Holo Theme is simple, modern and nice.
Meh I don't like the ICS theme that much. There is already a theme for that.
I wanted a MIUI theme, becuase no one has achieved to port MIUI launcher to the Player yet (if I'm correct). Something elegant is nice in my opinion.
But I have no knowledge of coding, sorry .
I do like this project though!
How about change GlassLock screen to TapLock?
I think Tap lock is looks good
I'm intrigued....

I think this website will be helpful for us when we make
ICS theme maybe(?). We can see many detailes about ICS looks(?) in this website
Yes, i know about this site.
It is important, that we make something, that everyone of us would accept.
That means also some drawbacks for some
A list of your ideas:
An ICS Style
An MIUI Style and TapLock instead of GlassLock.
Instead of creating a ICS theme from scratch, we can try porting Vertumus' ICS Domination Theme if he allows us to. It will be easier than building from scratch.
Yes, right.. I will try this this week.
I'm busy with ics and miui.
Using YP-G1
So I really love this app but honestly, it looks like crap.
So what do I need to theme this one? I know that there is an black theme out there so its clearly possible to make a theme for it. But what do I need except for Photoshop? Any tips for an newbie on making a skin for this app?
Thanks!
The only thing stopping us from releasing Themer on other resolutions is that we don't have the resources to re-build each theme for the ones we'd like to support, including: 480x854 (lots of devices), 800x1280 (Galaxy Note 1), 768 x 1280 (Optimus G), and any other phone you might have.
If anyone would like to help out, let us know. This requires extreme attention to detail, skills with Photoshop, and deep familiarity with the Themer design tools (including Everything Widget). Obviously you also need to have a device with one of the above (currently unsupported) resolutions.
Please note that when we talk about resolutions, we are referring to the out-of-the-box available screen resolution, excluding any space taken up by softkeys/navigation bar.
If you want to work on this, PM me. Please explain why you'd be a good candidate (examples of themes you've built, proof of Photoshop expertise, etc.)
Thanks!

Just guessing...
Most of the modders - like me - uses different DPI resolutions. For example I modded my downloaded theme to match my 190 dpi setting, moving icons, shadows, and so on. Would not be a nice idea if the elements should be placed relative to screen, instead of fixed-pixel-based position ?

Guys,
There is no need to individually create themes at each DPI. There are plenty, CM Theme chooser and Buzz Launcher that both are DPI independent. Maybe dig around in there code to learn how, but having a theme for each DPI might be a mistake, as people will use other launchers if the theme they want isn't usable

I agree that it is a misstake. I wan't my navigation at 70% or 36 DPI and this means that I can't see any theme in this launcher, but if I change to stock layout and apply a theme and then change back to navbar at 70% the themes still work great. Is there a way to see and apply themes if you don't have stock dpi and navbar? If not it's a dumb move by the developers sense the themes seems to work fine.
It seems like it could be a great launcher if it worked "like it should", but I uninstalled it after a few mins and wen't back to Nova.
Hope you fix the launcher so people can change rom, dpi, navbar etc without the app complaning about it and not showing any themes...
If you are including tablets is galaxy gab 3 then count me in
