Sup guys.
I've installed the Verizon JB Leak following the tutorials around XDA.
Everything works great, booting fine...but i can't mount my internal storage.
I'm starting to have trouble for installing some apps - it just won't allow me to install.
Also, when i connect it to the computer like an USB Mass Storage, it keeps asking me to format it.
Is there anything i can do ? Maybe manually mounting ?
Thanks in advance.
Nevermind.
Formatted and fixed.
]Now i can't mount my SD card LOL (when connecting to the computer)

Hi guys,
I have had an Atrix since a few months, and everything has been working fine. However, since the last few days when I connect the phone to my computer over USB, the external 16 Gig SD card shows up as a drive, but when I click on the other drive which is supposed to be the internal SD card, it says "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (D" in Windows.
Phone: Sim-unlocked AT&T Atrix, rooted, Gingerblur 4.5
Computer: Windows 7 (x64) with drivers installed
It has worked many many times in the past, and I haven't made any recent changes to the phone which are related to this in any way.
I have tried:
1. Changing USB connection mode between all 4 options, include USB Mass Storage
2. Restarting the computer
3. Restarting the phone
4. Switching on/off USB Debugging mode
5. Manually unmounting the "Settings" -> "SD card & phone storage settings" -> "Unmount internal phone storage"
6. Reinstalling the drivers - got it from here because the gitbrew link seems down
In fact I am able to view both /sdcard and /sdcard-ext using Root Explorer on the phone, so I don't think the internal memory is corrupt in anyway.
I've searched both xda and atrixforums, but not found a working answer to it.
Any suggestions? This is very frustrating.
Regards,
Varun
My phone has done this on occasion but a phone reboot fixed it.
Tried many reboots, but not working. Are there any filesystem integrity checks I could do via adb?

This may seem a silly question, but you don't mention doing it. Did you mount the internal sdcard after you unmounted it? Did you unmount while connected to your computer or when not connected?
Were you accessing your internal sdcard with any apps, or did you have it open in root explorer for example when you connected it to your computer? This can mess up the umounting procedure when you plug into USB.
Have you tried on another computer?
hello people, I accidently deleted my camera shots folder and now im trying to recover the lost files but i can find no way to mount the internal storage so that i may run the recovery software. im using the latest CWM (6.0) and even that doesnt have the option of mounting internal storage. any suggestions? when i connect my phone to the pc via USB i have only two options: MTP or PTP.
Suddenly I get this error in the notification bar:
Damaged SD Card - SD card is damaged. Try reformatting it.
And the SD card is not mounted. It's the internal one, the USB storage one I guess.
My external SD card works fine and is being mounted.
This is a huge problems since a lot of apps doesn't work when there is no internal SD. Swiftkey can't find it's languange packs, Gallery and many other video/image apps also fail etc.
If I reboot to recovery and to install zip from sdcard, I can see both my internal and external sd card. So recovery seem to be able to mount the internal sd, but android itself does not.
Now, I could format it, but I would like to at least be able to back up before I do, which is a bit of a problem since can't take the card out and use in a card reader and I can't get android to mount and share it either, even though recovery is able to mount the card just fine.
1) Does anybody know why this has happened?
2) Does anybody know how I can backup the contents of the internal sd, even if I can't get android to mount it?
3) Does anybody know how I any other way of fixing this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Rom & Kernel plz? :silly:
Also, Not really sure about this but I have a far reminiscence of having read somewhere that you can actually access your folders through USB from CWM once they are mounted. Please someone confirm this because I may be speaking bull****; otherwise you could try to backup your data from your very same computer.

Flash latest Siyah kernel (if you're on ICS/JB) and then boot to CWM. In mounts&storage mount USB storage and connect pc and phone via usb.

I've installed the newest RR rom today and everything worked like a charm but suddenly I realized that my usb storage and external sd aren't mounting correctly. When I try to download something in the browser my phone says you need a usb storage to download stuff. And when I open the gallery it says no external storage available and it closes. When I go to settings > storage and click Mount USB-Storage it starts to mount and then suddenly it disappears. Also it doesn't work to connect my usb storage to my pc.
I tried nearly everything even in recovery mode my phone can't mount the storage or sd card but funny fact: I can access my storage via recovery mode > install zip from sd card > choose zip from internal sdcard and boom everything is there.
WTF is going on!
Does anyone know what is going on and even better how could I solve it?
Thanks and regards Lukas.
I have recently updated my S2 to the stock rom 4.1.2. However the phone started running out of storage place in the internal USB (where I could not even capture a screen shot, etc.).
So I decided to factory reset it and wipe it via the recovery mode. After the recovery, the phone just keep having a USB icon and saying "USB storage is blank or has unsupported file" and prompted me to format it when I click on it. But it just dismount and try to mount again without solving the issue.
I have searched through couple of forums and couldnt get the fix on this, tried to format it on PC (via connection a cable to the phone) but it does not allow me to do so saying no such right. Tried to flash it again with the rom, still no good. Also tried to wipe it many times still no sign of hope.
I am wondering if anyone here may point me the right direction to any place where I can fix it. Since I cant even take our the internal USB, I am just stuck with the internal 2Gb memory. Thank you so much in advance.
I remember seeing this message when my external sd card got corrupt. So quick question, are you using any external sd card?

Thanks for the reply. I have already removed my external SD card to isolate the issue. I still got the message even I dont have any external SD card inserted. So it shall be the internal memory issue.
