If you delete efs folder you get generic imei. This is the only change you can do on t959. On T959v you can change imei by copying efs folder from different T959v.

Do not delete efs, there is more info in there than just imei.
I suspect you have a blacklisted imei and that's your motive for wanting to change it.

I have just rooted my sgs2 and installed CM7.

I have tried *#1234# too, it gave me an error.Connection problem or invalid mmi code.
You mean imei code invalid.....? Try check ur imei code by *#06# and check whether ur imei is correct or not....if not do u have a efs backup? If u have try restoring it......

Hi there, I flashed the newest stock firmware with odin XXBLH1 about 1 hour ago. Everything seem fine but my phone cant detect signal ( I cant recieve and make calls) Im live in Hungary and Im vodafone user pls help me Thanks.

I suggest you flash another modem if that doesnt fix it, then you must contact your network service provider

I dont have backup, and I cant change my CSC.

Check IMEI is the same as under the battery .
Check Mobile network settings are correct .
Try a different Modem from the modem thread found via INDEX .
Restore phone to original firmware .

hello ..... this is naruto i have gT s 5360(samsung) few months back i rooted my mobile but before that i didnt backed up efs now after a hard reset efs folder is missing..... as a result
i can not getting msgs or phone calls
sim registration failed
no imei number
is there any way to get my phone back to normal condition???? if yes plz tell me
