Hello I have a problem like that with my battery time! My rom is Null_23! and I have GPS turned off and do not have Facebook or some app that eats battery! My kernel is Siyah 1 8 9 + Baseband i9300BUEMA1, Modem XXEMA2. And have tried lot of ROMS to be battery friendly! Still, I bat time minder than 12 hours, and then I might talk up to 20 minutes a day! and I have not changed anything in STweaks for I dare ite and understand me not quite at that. I have the Samsung original charger. Have heard that there are tweaks that you drive through CMW but they work and if they do it Vilen should I have and what settings you should run with the bat good time in STweak!
Lots of love Symptom
hope you can give me answer soon you who are good at this stuff
Yepp I admit I am NOOB when it comes to this very fun not to charge mobile 2 times a day ..

Install BBS, open it once, let it run and check partial wakelock section. Do this on a single charge as it resets if you charge. Post a screenshot of the bbs screen showing the wakelocks and someone might be able to help you.

I have a strange problem in my Galasy S3
After last update XXLF2 (4.0.4) no root, and made a factory default and format.
However, I noticed that when I go to Battery usage ( Setting---Battery) , I can't find any application in the list, not even with 1%. The only things showing are (Cell Standby / Screen / Android System / Voice Calls / Device Idle / Android OS)
I down't know how?!!! I'm using Whatsapp always and twitter and Chrome, but nothing appears.
I had tried the code of *#*#4664#*#* ( or something like that) and showed me that Whatsapp using the battery.!!!
So what is the problem of mine now?
Any help.
Thanks

Chill dude. It doesn't show in mine also. I think it's different algorithm to segregate task. For example if An app is using GPS , and GPS is eating up your battery..the stock might put that under GPS while badass might put it under apps. I'm not sure though.

Which MIUI are you using? When you have everything turned of it is draining a bit to fast, might want to try reflashing kernel and/or rom.
If you want a decend working MIUI I recommend CosmicUI while it has a working camera but is not latest MIUI though and battery is draining a bit when 3G is turned on.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1648317
Otherwise I would suggest helping ronak perfecting his latest MIUI which is using ICS

You mean on CosmicUI? Don't know the solution exactly anymore but try apllying it through Themes or by going to the mp3 itself and set as ringtone.
What I usually do is get rootexplorer en move the mp3 to the default folder for ringtones. It is probably also somewhere in his thread
Hope it helps!

There are lots of ways of saving battery such as disabling sync from Google, Facebook and others, adjust the brightness to your needs instead of using Auto and hold down the home button and delete the apps that you're not using
Also if you root your phone, you can install custom ROMs with bloatware removed and custom kernel

Well I saw tht your WiFi was On almost continuously... Turn it off when you dont need it... WiFi is one of the main reason for battery drain... And if you can't do it manually then install some battery saving app like juice defender wich will turn off WiFi when not in use...
My phone runs almost 1 day with moderate use of WiFi, tht is turning on only when needed else off... If I keep it on always my phone runs out of battery within 8-10 hrs.

No matter if your phone is in deep sleep or not... If your WiFi is on even in deep sleep it will still drain the battery... So try with WiFi off 1st..
N the thing with battery stats after restarting thing...
Download battery calibration from play store n calibrate it when you r charged 100% that will hopefully solve the stats problem... But battery calibrator needs root.

ohk ohk ill try batery caliberator and tell u the results
Battery calibration is not needed, it wont do anything - everytime you charge your phone and unplug it android system makes new battery stats.
WiFi is may be drainig cause look at the blue line after WiFi - it doesn let the phone fully sleeps. So try turning it off (android percentage is very high too, may because of WiFi)

Well that happened coz before there were some apps running in the background so it gave you backup of 16hrs but after the reboot those apps were killed n maybe you didn't open those certain apps after reboot and thts how u got more backup...
So do one thing, download 'auto memory manger ' from play store, its red color icon with tools On it... It kills all the unnecessary apps running in the background draining your battery... On the first start it will guide you through On how to set it up according to your needs.. Try it... Works gud.

From the screenshots, I noticed that your cell phone wasn't receiving signals throughout the deep sleep mode. If the phone isn't receiving signals, or is receiving low signals (1 bar), the phone automatically puts more battery juice into the radio transceiver to catch better reception.
Its possible that your phone has been expending its battery throughout the night to catch better reception - try putting it in a better place with more reception during the night, or in Airplane mode in case reception during the night isn't vital/important for you.

i think that even this is ineffective
my apps that are working are
watsaap,viber,keyboard,settings,viper4android,google services thats all
I know there's a lot of battery threads out there, I've been reading most of them but I got no help from them.
I recently updated my phone from ICS to JB, and now I'm running NeatROM and Siyah Kernel. And since the update I've noticed an abnormal battery drain. Just now, in 20 minutes, it has lost 3%.
Now, I'm not new to smartphones, so before you say, yes, I have done all the possible things to prevent the drain: Greenify, Wifi OFF, GPS OFF, Sync OFF, all OFF, battery saver mode, minimum brightness...
Actually now I'm using a generic 4300mAh battery from a friend and I only get a little more than a day. I'm using the phone but not in a hard way. Minimun time on wifi, some messages, one or two calls, and some internet surfing, not much.
Is it normal all this? Am I going mad? If you guys need any info/screenshots to maybe identify something please tell.
Thanks.
Usual fixes are go back to fully stock and see if it is still the same, if yes then replace the battery with a quality make, if still the same then probably a hardware fault.
Well, the change, as I said, was just after the change from ICS to JB, so I don't think it is any of those...

I am a fan of Wannam.
Try to install one of his roms (the latest) and check if that helps.

i found Google maps to be the biggest drainer... and if like me its installed to /system then greenify doesn't hibernate it... and those Damn network location updates nuke the battery in no time... convert to user app using titanium backup... Or remove from /system and reinstall from market... my battery lasts nearly two days after moving all Google bloat... greenify puts it all to sleep and phone doesn't wake up for anything except calls and texts... brill

I will do that with maps. With which any other Google bloatware should I do the same?
Try using wake lock detector it really gives a nice info on what process is taking your battery .
You could also try changing the cpu scaling logic. This seems to give the best battery life enhancement.

I think the battery is going better now. I wiped the internal sdcard and now I have 70% with 8 hours of phone. Is that normal?
EDIT
I mean with stock battery. Also, I limited the CPU from 1400 to 900 long time ago.
I have also extracted the external sd because lately it was giving problems like removing and mounting itself a lot...
OK, so I got like 25 hours with normal-low use. Is that average?

I tried that but I didn't notice any battery improvement. Also, Voodo Sound is so much better, in my opinion.
Without a custom kernel you can not apply any undervolting or change the cpu scaling logic Max frequency etc.
Try a custom kernel again but this time dont just leave it with the default settings . Change them . Remember you can always install voodoo sound on top of any other sound mod.
