Your the first I've heard/read with that SPL. Could you please be more specific; I realize you infer gold card but what exactly did you do and have you read thoroughly all that is involved in doing this. There are quite a number of threads on this from here and the Windows Phone 7.5 threads too. You are aware there is an official stock 7.8 rom now?

yes dude, i've just updated to 7.8 via cab sender. but my bootloader is still stuck on 1.8.
with the goldcard i've tried to install HSPL, because with the "easy" method it says "invalid ID vendor".
can i upgrade just the bootloader?

ok, now i'm on SPL 2.6, but i can't still use the GC method! any help?

[Q] Is it possible to downgrade from SPL 3.03 to 2.08?

I have the 3.14 ROM with 3.03.000 SPL installed on my HD2
What I`m trying to do is Install NAND Android. But to do this I need HSPL 2.08.
I read through a lot of Forums indicating that this can only be done if you flash an older ROM to phone, hence overwriting the 3.03 SPL.
Tried downloading one of the older stock roms (1.66 and 1.48) and then attemped to flash via SD and through the .exe file directly.
Heres what happened:
----------------------
From the .exe file it boots to the tri color screen and then reaches the progress bar screen. However it sticks there and the errors out with a code : 294.
At first I thought it could be an incorrect ROM but I doublechecked it.
Through the SD method after the phone detects the .nbh file it comes back with a "28002 : Not allow" error message.
Have tried this with various types of Mem cards but no luck.
I then tried SSPL with 1.66 and 1.48 as the ROM and i got it to flash the ROM with no problems but the HSPL still sticks at 3.03. And thats expected since SSPL is like a one shot go at flashing a ROM different from your region.
Question : Since this isnt working, will a task 29 help in this case? From what I understand it formats the filesystem that holds the OS. By doing so, will I then be able to flash one of the older Roms so I can install HSPL 2.08? Not sure if this will actually help.
Not sure what exactly i`m doing wrong here.

simple, you're using the wrong rom. It isnt just any stock rom, its a stock rom that is correct for your phone you need. so for example if its locked to orange france, you would need the orange FRA rom, if the phone came from o2 uk its the WWE O2 UK rom you need.
dont be confused by a phone that has been sim unlocked, it would still be rom locked.
Hi.
Just did this yesterday.
All you have to do is check the version installed.
Mine was 3.14.479.2 which is Eastern Europe.
So i downloaded the 1.66.479.2 and flashed.this flashed the 1.48 spl..
So problem solved.
forgot to mention the 3.14 it the rom version.the rest is region specific : in my case 479.2 means eastern europe. This is important.
Fox example i tried to flash WWE:1.66.405.2 (France Bouygues) but no luck. 0% and then error.
same problem - may be we need HSPL for SPL 3.03.0000
I experienced the same problem. may be we need HSPL for 3.03, or it is already available - i dont know....
Can anybody reply / answer / help us all who are having 3.03 and want to run NAND Android on their device ? ? ?
Thanks in anticipation.

Problem can easily be solved by installing the correct previous stock rom.
For example if you have now the 3.14.405.x stock rom you need to use previous version 1.66.405.x Red numbers need to be the same.
You can download the stock rom's on the HTC webpage, ore take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283
thx i try it and i tell it

Ahh, dont worry i have got it working now!!

All sorted and WP7 now running, though after all that i dont think i like it!!!

"strange behaviour" of my Mozart, need urgent help please

Hi guys,
i am new to this Forum and you are my "last hope"... ;-)
I bought a used HTC Mozart at ebay. Everything is fine so far, it works, no damages or scratches updating to mango went smooth but trying to debrand it makes me mad...
It is a T-Mobile (Germany) branded device and one of several things that confuses me is the following:
Every time when i try to debrand it, i get the error 294 ( wrong vender id )... i searched the web, different Forums but i got no solution to fix this problem.
Even when i try to flash to T-Mob 1.09 Rom, i get the wrong vender id message
My phone datas are these:
Operating system: 7.10.7720.68
Firmwarerevision: 2250.21.4050.111
Hardwarerevision: NA
Radio software: 5.69.09.05a_22.50.21U
Radio hardware: 0.0.0.0
Bootloader: 4.5.2250.1 (12879)
Chip Soc version 2.2.5.0
What really confuses me is the fact, that the Hardwarerevision-No and Radiohardware-No are without a value.
Does this possibly mean that the prior owner tried to flash the device ??
Sorry for my bad english and probably my questions sound stupid to you but this is my first WM device and i still have to learn a lot.
I hope that someone is able to help me.
Thanks in advance
krille
If the device has updated to Mango then your SPL (Secondardy Program Loader) will have been update too, most probably to 5.xx . Once you have a 4.xx or 5.xx you will not be able to downgrade ROM to 1.09 version.
Thanks for your response
i can downgrade my mango til 7004, that won`t be a problem. i just have to reset it..
But i don`t understand why there are no values at Hardwarerevision-no and radio Hardware... how can that be ??
hi,
i hope your problem is resolved by now. but here are my two cents:
if your phone is working, then there should be no issue. however, you may still want to downgrade the bootloader and deploy a custom ROM.
im sorry is any way to flash a rom becuase i have the same probleme??

Yes there is a way to flash it. Just search the forum on how to downgrade your SPL, it is a bit complicated if you are new to this stuff. But there are really good tutorials on how to do that here.
Just downgrade the SPL and you can install almost any ROM that you would like.

Titan vodafone EU

Hi Guys,
I have reviewed the forums looking for a solution to debrand and flash stock rom with 2.5 bootloader. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
I have tried DFT spl put get "invalid vendor ID.
From what I understand I can not use goldcard as my bootloader is 4.x
my phone is
HTC Titan (vodafone)
Carrier (unlocked)
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number 1750.0602.40603.165
Hardware revision number:0002
Radio software version 17.5006.08.27_17.08.50.06U
Bootloader version: 4.6.175006.2(140733)
any help greatly appreciated. My HD2 @Dynamics HD2O 2.00 WP7.8 8858 is putting my titan to shame.
Your Titan is branded, even though it's carrier unlocked, it still carries a brand like ATT.
Firmware revision number 1750.0602.40603.165
That bit right there, the last 3 digits, usually shows the characteristic value of the phone on which network and region it is tied to.
Only phones with 401 (usually) are unlocked phones which do not carry and network branding in them.
Your luck is very slim, if you can find a matching Vodafone EU ROM with a bootloader version of at least below 2.05 / 2.5 (same thing) then there's a possibility of HSPL.
Success
Update.
It is possible.
I successfully downgraded SPL to 2.5. I created goldcard using nbh file in DFT SPL205 file then flashed HSPL.. Titan now running Dynamics 2.0.

Same question here... Trying to HSPL my ATT Titan with no luck for a long time...

[Q] HTC Titan x310e

During the past couple of weeks I successfully HSPL my two Titan x310a devices. I would like to know specifically if an individual in possession of the "device" Titan x310e - whether is called the European or International version but not the x310a or the American or AT&T US "device" version....whether the process to HSPL are identical? My other question is what prevents a successful HSPL if you have successfully performed via Gold Card the debrand and the installation of SPL205? I would also like a tutorial on the CID and what makes ETERDIAG different from ETERIMG? Thank you!

I'm reading now into what made me unable to HSPL and y'all cannot now...specifically, why if your "about" in settings reads x310e which I'm told you got to have to HSPL, but what I don't know are you guys who should have x310e's and if the process for you all is the same or do your devices need to read x310a which explains why in the debrand thread both Eternity European 1.09 and Cingular 1.10 ROMs are mentioned. Another thing that has my attention is there is one thread that talks about the HTC Titan II and some guy has a 7.8 ROM on it but what has my attention is, he didn't HSPL which we all know is impossible in the here and now; he "transplanted" the core into Mango, or that's at least how I'm interpreting it. I'm not an expert on any of this but I've immersed myself in it of late from my HD2 to the Titan. The HD2 use MAGLDR; the Titan, doesn't, so from technical aspects, I'm curious.
Over in Themes...I have my steps...there is no guarantee this will work for you...take care!

Step 1 AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT out of all of them...and I don't mean to be an ass here, but ATT Titans are having a LOT of problems with getting the HSPL on their devices.
READ THE TITAN FORUM THOROUGHLY AND CAREFULLY!
Go start by reading the debranding thread in the Rom thread...
I will probably be back as I am an in hurry right now....

Everybody STOP!!! Take a deep breath! Exhale! You need to be more specific and explain to us what exactly are you trying to do. It's February 4th and we're post-release of Microsoft/carrier of their official "stock" Windows Phone 7.8. Is your phone HSPL or not? Your message indicates you're using WP7.5.7720 which is somewhat old given there have been at least 4 incremental updates since 7720 - 7740, 8107, 8112 and 8773 and a few on AT&T, 8779. I am not aware you can jump from 7720 directly to 8858 without going through the other increments; now you can do them individually or set up Cab Sender to them in order if that is your method of madness. You do not need HSPL to do this now. If you're HSPL we're not updating via Zune or Cab Sender; you're flashing in bootloader mode and there isn't an easier method, getting HSPL, is a crap shoot but if you have it, updating is cake. Let's start with what exactly are you trying to do, what is your bootloader SPL, and what is your build...
