"A root checker for Kindle Fires"
KindlR is a new android application for the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD. KindlR will check your kindle fire for root access.
That is all it will do, nothing else.
Notes to take into consideration:
- KindlR will not root your kindle fire.
- KindlR will not brick your device in any way, shape or form.
- KindlR is based only for Kindle Fires, checking for root on another android device (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S III) will work the same way.

I haven't tried the suggest application, but I've ran on that platform (HC v4 2nd edition on eMMC), CM7 SD Boot v.33, and currently on NookieComb v.01. I've used an app that requires a rooted device, you can grab it from the Market, it's called "ShootMe", it worked on all 3 different platforms for me. The picture is saved on a new folder it creates for itself on SD, folder name "ShootMe". Hope that helps, good luck!
****IF this was helpful please consider clicking "thanks" below!
Very nice find!
yeah, him I'm the dev and the app is supposed to be an xda exclusive!

It don't work on Gtablet running CM7. I know this isn't the gtab forum, but I know a lot of folks have a gtab and a nook color also so I was just giving all a heads up to save 'em from going through a purchase then a refund like I had to do.

Hi hitekredneck!
Im the dev of Screenshot ER, which you said is not working on your CM7 gTab here.
Could you please send me a logcat in debug mode so i can solve this issue?
What you need to do is:
1. Download aLogcat from the market
2. Tick "Debug mode" in Screenshot ER
3. Run aLogcat
4. Reproduce your error in Screenshot ER
5. Go into aLogcat and pause
6. Use the share menu to send the resulting text either to [email protected] or via PM here at XDA
Thanks!
It works fine on my gtab! Which cm?
Hello Everyone,
So I have been working on videos on using different widget apps, backgrounds, and themes and thought I would share them all in a thread for you. I have a similar thread in the Xoom forum, but thought I would share with other devices. All of this was done on a Xoom but this easily works on any Honeycomb Device with the exception to my last step 5 which has to do with theming,(this is device specific), but if the maker of a theme executed correctly, you can follow the same steps to install the theme. I go through various tools but they do follow an order from start to finish. This is not an exact perfect way to use each of these widgets I am talking about, but its a way that worked for me. I hope you enjoy and find this useful.
Big shoutouts to everyone. I give credits in my video, sorry if I miss you here. Submicron, BigDogRush, BigDX, Ghoticov, XDA Community in General (You guys rock!!!)
Please note that towards the end I switched colors to Blue instead of the Orange theme I have in the beginning.

Hey Looks good,
Have you tested the Honeycomb interface modifications (flash able ones) with the Samsung 10.1v? Do they work without issues?
Cheers,
Adrian

As of yet I have not. Haven't able to get dirty with one, just use. Will post when I can though.
If you have installed Cyanogenmod or any other custom built ROM in your RAZR HD, chances are you've lost most of the wallpapers that Motorola includes in our phones, so here's the collection of images I use both when I'm feeling up for a bit of Nostalgia as well as when I wish to appreciate the newer graphics included in the latest versions of our phones. Hope you enjoy them, Cheers! :good:

And before all you RAZR HD owners start asking, no I did not discover the holy grail, nor have I found a way to bring back our original Motorola Circles Widget to any other Custom ROM. The trick is actually very easily replicated though, just go and get it from here:
Hehehe Cheers!
Cool, thanks for this
I'm curious as to why it's hard to port the Motorola Clock widget to other launchers and roms?

Well, I guess the easiest answer would be that it's not just a widget, its part of whole package that includes Motorola's own specific weather app, a specific framework, and has it's system functionality directly tied to the Moto Launcher.

Kindle fire hd 8.9. lte Succes
i root my kindle fire with this app. I have KFHD 8.9 v8.5.1 But, i dont know change super user (Perizinan rumah tangga app) for Supersu app. I try deleted, clean up with tools of Supersu, but nothing. Help me please
Recently purchased this phone (April 2016 ZTE Imperial Max). Love the screen quality but do not like the fact that it can not be rooted. I have consulted an app on Facebook (Root Without PC) over the past 3 months and have been given the run around. Is anyone aware of rooting this phone? Never done rooting so it would be something new to me. If anyone could lead me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated . Mod Edit: personal email address used. This site gets crawled by spambots so please do not post your personal email!
same here, i recently purchased the zte imperial max and havent been able to find a root for it yet. is there any way to know if xda is working on it?
Root for April 2016 ZTE Imperial Max
I have imposed the question to xda forum and hopefully we will be able to get a rooting method for this. I am sick of bloatware and not being able to hack my games. I want control over this phone, not this phone having control over me. I have heard that as long as the boot loader is unlocked, then any method can be used to root the phone. I don't know how true this is though. I have tried kingoroot, iroot, and towel root, and they aren't working... So I guess it is sit back and play the waiting game
I would also be interested in seeing a root method, especially since there is an issue preventing me from updating to the B05 update.

Sorry, found this thread from a google search, I wonder if a moderator will be able to move it to the right place, since it seems the OP made the thread on August 6 2016.
