Xpera GO - latest cybershot mod ? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi there,
just curios which is the latest Cybershot Mod for our beloved Xperia Go ?
Maybe you have tried different version and know which gives best results also ?
In particular I am interested in the focus speed in a dark place - maybe different versions of the mod have different camera drivers ...
you tell me
Cheers

V5.1.1 is latest.
Sent from my Xperia U using xda app-developers app

just saw that there's 5.7.2 - anyone tried that ?
If someone has it and is willing to test - does it have the slow focus problem in dark areas - My biggest issue so far. 5.7.2 claim it's a new driver within .. so curious

Best version I feel is 4.7 but 5.7 is latest and tested

Mr. wbgenetic
take a look here and read the replies of the users that have an Xperia Go:

kinda useless to create a new thread like this one for that

JB ROM taking suggestions

Hi guys after a long time i continue developing ROMs
so i wanna start a JB ROM im taking suggestions from you and may add them to my Rom^^
I will start developing on MONDAY so till then comment
My Ideas:
Full Sony Look/JB Look/Mixed Look
My newest Script collection for Ideal speed and smoothness on JB only!(Buid.prop+Init.d and other parts )
Edited System UI wallpapers/system apps etc......
Battery tweaks
Im still thinking^^
Your suggestions:
Still waiting
So Khemara is back!!!!!
I would recommend you photosphere if possible :good:
And now I think you can remove that tag from ur signature"DISCONTINUED FROM XDA"
Best Regards,
AJ
Can u make JB camera Quality AS GOOD AS OF ICS? I know without new camera libs its not possible but sony have released jb for xperia t and v so if u can take their camera libs and make them work it on mdpi phones!
Sent from my WT19i using xda premium
Honestly, considering the fact that sony is never gonna give us a jb.... i guess what we really need now is ..a jelly bean rom that is totally 'sony'... i mean to say.. like what they have put there for xperia t and v..... this rom should look lyk as if it's frm sony (and far better than sony, ofcourse). from the Ui to the customization (like for an exanple..sony never gives a blue colored text anywhere in statusbar... it's white). mayb i sound like one with only wishes and wishes but no wish to help but i swear most of us would like the rom to be a fresh,sony-themed,fast and stable one. just spare the blue/miui/cm theming and all....other roms have that. we need a 'sony jb'. ...would be happy to test the rom once i get my bl unlocked. keep up the good work.
Sent from my ST15i using xda app-developers app
Make full xperia z jb look would be awesome

A jb rom featuring all the features of sony jb !! UI,apps, lockscreen etc !!

Khemara is back :victory:
Nice to see you back,man.
Sony JB,of course, stylish fast and simply beautiful sony apps.
Yey welcome back my wishes for your new Rom is to give us Sony Pure UI i mean nothing Aosp-ish (nothing Blue), latest Sony JB apps that Comes with sony updates for Xperia Z,T... And No bloatware with Your own touches ,,I believe that it will be so Hard ,, However U R a Great dev Hope u the best ,, Thanks
Sent from my WT19i using Tapatalk 2
Oooh man this moment is too good to be true, never missed any of ur rom updates, welcome back , anyhow, +1 for pure xperia looks like that of vanilla's with ur awesome touch ofc ,and hopefully a cooler new camera ui libs if possible ofc and a neat system ui like that of serajr's for ics am pretty sure it i'll rock, cant wait
+1 for the camera. Don't know if it's possible, but the main reason I'm not using JB right now is that cybershot is not available.

I can help you with the sony Z themes.PM me if ur interested.White dialer and contact, perfect xperia z layout and framework
Sent from my ST15i using xda premium
I think you should use a mix of sony style with aosp and you could use pacman rom as base because it has more options to costumize... for last, you should include walkman player with sound mods because the sound of jb roms for our devices sucks
I like to use an hardware button for flashlight, the option in cyanogen and in rom control ...
AW: JB ROM taking suggestions
I can say following
Build Base :
FXP CM10/maybe M66B extented Rom
I decided for the Mixed look between Sony and AOSP
- Sony Media Apps (Walkman,Album,Video)
SONY sketch Font
Xperia z Boot/Nexus Boot/..............
Clean (without CM10 Bloatware)
Edited Wallpaper
SONY launcher
A lot of more changes forgot
TWEAKED whole SYSTEM
New Scripts
Icreased Smoothness
Low ram usage
Very efficient
MORE IN PROGRESS
YOU CAN PM ME WITH IDEAS
Sent from my SK17i using xda app-developers app
Good to hear ur idea .. however as aosp style/mixed style is already present in other jb roms here in xda, u could hav thought of the idea of making it pure sony-themed. but i can't imagine the amount of hard work u r putting in it so whatever u like, bring it on mate .. a bug-free jb rom, that's it! <fingers crossed>

Thanks a lot for your time !!
Really nice to see you back man. I think that a full Sony Xperia style UI would be better than a mixed UI. Especially a full Xperia Z like UI would be the best JB rom ever built. Once again, welcome back to XDA

Hello guys,
Just a simple question, any other IDEA how to make this general section more dirty? I'm curious :-|
and just in case I call this a forum not a chat room!
so all I can say is thnx for making harder to find something useful in general section for me!
with all due respects seriously love you guys!
No offence though
PS: and there is already a Q&A section here
PSS: to admin, moderator or anyone here with some power it would be really great to make a discussion thread in Sony sections. thnx.
Root it -> Unlock Bootloader -> Flash Sliding XP v7.3 Kernel -> Flash Experience V2 (ROM)...

Install Slinding XP kernel 7.3, you'll get a much smoother phone and install ACID Audio Engine v7, for awesome sound.
i have been using my xperia p for 3 months with stock rom.just got on with rom cook.never better.
You should just wait patiently and not do anything until JellyBean rollout.
which ntituses
i am waiting too
I am Also new to Xperia P but Old to Xperia . I am waiting for JB.. JB will be great on this device (I think. ) In xperia P forum every thing seems to be paused.
Which unofficial rom do you suggest for xperia P. This stock ICS really sucks. I came from htc with cyanogenmod7 and must confess that even that was better than stock ICS. I was waiting for official JB but comparing stock ICS and CM9 (experience only from htc) I do not believe that stock JB will satisfy me.

ROM DEVELOPERS-Make this one!!!!

Respected all the Rom developers and/or advanced users,
The ROMS which are currently being release by all are carrying he walkman app. However everyone kows here thatany walkman app doesnt work good w.r.t. sound output quality on the speaker mode(headphones work good, perhaps excellent in walkman as there are various modes available in it).Now the time has come to develop the walkman app which can perform as good as stock music player on XPERIA Mini Pro sk17i and XPERIA Mini st15i.I cannoot tell you to remove all walkman appfeatures because other features like movies, album etc. are good.So please work on this if possible(I have personally tried many ROMS from this developer community, and they are good.I only wish to make out the faults because many of the apps can damage the speaker). Also i liked the BoostMyXperia app.One more thing,LED Control is not needed. The Ultimate LED Notification fix if it has been included in the rom(deodexed),then why do you need to include LED control(not criticizing anyone here, but the Ultimate LED Notification fix is excellent enough). And finally, personally,i feel that Timescape is better app than social life. What do you think guys?.And the most important thing,if anyone can, please try to include the CRT OFF ANIMATION.
Thanks

maybe ROMs DEVs see those new apps are better ,
cuz our 2011 devices didn't get the jelly bean update ,
so they included all new futures to make us & them fell happy ,
that's ur opinion , all should respect it
I know my friend.I thought to post this because I am also using 2011 mdpi device. However, many walkman features seem to work good only w.r.t. Headphones.if we tweak it and then try to manupulate the sound for speaker,it gets damaged. Also rom developers should include bravia engine 2,cybershot and xLOUD,usb mass storage mode, stock LED Notification, etc. as it is in stock rom.i know its not easy.i respect your opinion too.

gettin bored with xperia ui, I think you just focus with AOSP. n don't forget to buil for lww, will be glad to test it

BTW: Batterydrain is 25% in 5 hours normal use( wifi turned on and mobile network) i think thats bad i will try some other things
Edit:

yes, don't add much xperia apps it only slow down the system.I know what i speak, one time i have a rom with a lot of useless xperia stuff and the rom was lagging as hell.I think you better make AOSP.About the battery drain it is little big but not so bad.
Good news for You - now, I have faster 3g internet connection in my mobile, so I can download it directly from my device. If You do it and upload - just give me link on PM

Super Jelly Bean (SJB) Mods/Apps/Themes/TroubleShooting

Hey guys, try out SJB for 2011 xperia line, its an awesome rom !
As a begineer I would like other pro users here, to share there apps or mods that work on this rom (SJB) . It will help other users too.
Users can post their requests on this post :sly:
Sony Xperia Arc
Powered by Super Jelly Bean
Kernel : Super Fusion
I use v.7.1 with SuperFusion v2
Good ROM, great performances and battery drain.
- I use "Xperia Honami Keyboard for CM10" MOD and works well
- with this ROM works all theme for CM10.
- Motorola camera app works perfect, and isn't affected by green preview problem. I recommend using this.
Only problem that I notice it's google maps compass/indicator problem....indicator go crazy and there are graphical artifacts when navigate.
This is a CM10 bug, and if someone can help us to fix it, will be good. Maps navigation it's impossible...
does anyone have the same problem as me?
i have always done all 3 wipes etc but everytime i try to copy something to system/app, it fails
this occured to me in sjb 7 and 7.1

But THIS isn't a thread to discuss APPS, THEMES, MOD or TROUBLE SHOOTING for Super Jelly Bean?
Because for now, I read less about it...In my post I wrote mods that I've use, Apps...Camera app that I suggest to use...
I think that It's time to rename this thread in something else...
This forum works well because there are sections: Q&A section it's dedicated to every questions do you have to post. Every. Noob or not.
But, when you write questions about others in a thread "title" to a specific argument, you're going OT.
Sorry my controversy, but at this point I don' t understand the meaning of this thread.
In the first post I would put links to dedicated kernel, optimal configuration, tips about battery safe settings, themes that you used with this rom...mods compatible or personal experience about mod don't indicated as compatible, but that works...
Then, In my opinion this should be the direction.
So, if you want to live up to the title, the next posts should be:
- Version of the SJB ROM Installed
- Kernel version
- Mods installed, or about you want to ask the functioning in this ROM.
- Installed Themes (tested and works)
- Apps recommended or ideals for this ROM.
- Any tips or inquiries about these topics.
What do you think? It's this the sense of this thread?
@DomusX10 agree with you.
Have a question though. Do you think this thread was really needed. Q and A thread for SJB already exist
And there's a dev thread too. And as OP says its the "best" rom. Do you think there is something like best rom or best kernel?
If someone is asking you "walkman for 4.3" and if this is Q and A thread you can simply tell him the answer. And last, theres nothing like discussing abt themes, apps, mods abt rom(s). Op already has the compatible mods list in dev thread. And apps and themes taste vary from person to person. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Yes, I agree that already exist a Q&A...I think that creator of this thread thought to make a thing like that made for slimbean...a kind of container for opinions and advice, directly by users..
In order not to encroach on the main discussion of questions on a specific app or maybe a mod.
But it is not working well and that's why I wrote .. I think as it is useless.
