Exactly. My device is samsung.
But I'm Korean and this model is just for Korea.
I think this similar with Galaxy s2 model.
You can think my device model is Samsung Galaxy s2.

Better u confirm from net comparing images etc.
Then u can easily flash rom using Odin flashtool as recommended for Samsung firmware flash tool

Hi,
I never know exactly your model but the phone based on mtk6573 are all the same, first of all I need to know the way you choose for reprogram the phone...I hope that you choose Sp flash tool...and you unselect the first two selection before reprogram. If not, the only way you have are trying to find the original ROM in flash mode not in .zip mode!! or send me the phone
hi,
Thanks your reply. I tried to find our phone's rom but unsuccessfully.
If you know how to find it please help me.
Thanks in advance
Do you have anyone have any solutions?

Help Galaxy ACE 5839i

Hello,
I have a problem, I have a GT-S5839i and I see that there is not much to like in ROM. Even the original ROM are not available.
The concern is that when buying a Galaxy Ace you end up with a model like mine.
If someone has an idea would be so cool thank you.
I am pretty certain the S5830I ROMs work on your model.
Anyway, what's your question? Was that it?
http://www.tsar3000.com/Joomla/inde...laxy-ace-firmwares&catid=55:samsung&Itemid=82
jump to the bottom for the stock roms, not sure if the 5830i/c/m roms will work with your model.
Anyway backup first before doing any testing development...
Thank you for your answers.
But I'm stuck with 1.85 Odin, he does not recognize that I want to flash ROM. 5838i ROM for French

Did you install Kies first?
I finally managed to install the ROM Polish Orange because French does not.
But I will wish to change the ROM by my kitchen.
And I can not find the tools I tried "dsixda-Android-Kitchen", but it does not recognize the drive.
Do you know something else like tools.
thank you

I have a Galaxy s2 SGH-I777 or the GT-i9100 Not 100% sure. I currently have a bricked (or what i believe to be a bricked phone) not sure. It pops up with the start up screen (SAMSUNG GALAXY S II GT-I9100 with the yellow yield sign with exclamation mark in the middle). So im not sure what phone i have but i just want it to work again. I understand i can not provide alot of info due to not being about to look up its info. I believe i loaded the wrong CWM on it and cannot find the right one. Any help is appreciated thanks again.

you should post it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1148
and i think you have a bootloop if u did a nandroid u can restore it back
tell us which kernel u have flashed??...nd yes u have flashed a wrong kernel most probably.
AW: [Q] Galaxy s2 NEED MAJOR HELP.
hey!
as your bootscreen says i9100, you seem to have that version. to be sure, you can check the sticker under your battery.
what you have is called a bootloop. it is solvable. search for bootloop or flash a rom with odin. use the search function, there are quite a lot of guides around.

galaxy s2 stuck at startup scren

Guys,
I purchases a 'damaged' s2 for a few bucks. When it starts, it only shows the galaxy s gt-19000 samsung screen. So i think there is no rom available.
Can i update a new rom through Odin3? If so, which rom should i use and how should i configure Odin3?
thanks for the help.

Hi,
Yes you can flash stock ROM via Odin. If you can boot into the OS after flashing, then you should be able to root your phone then flash custom ROMs via recovery.
gsstudios
Are you sure it's an S2? The gt-i9000 you mention would indicate that it isn't.....
(It *should* say gt-i9100)
If you're *positive* it's an S2 and you are *definitely* seeing gt-i9000 on startup, then somebody has flashed it incorrectly with a Galaxy S(1) rom/firmware.
Not sure if that's going to affect the recovery of the device (partition layout likely to be different).

many thanks for thh reply, i am not positive its a s2, bought it as a s2 though. They both look the same for me. The only galaxy i had was a S3
i do know that , at boot, it tells it is a gt-I9000
What does the sticker under the battery say it is?
http://i.imgur.com/rVnFwJM.jpg
It also shows gt i9000

Then it would appear that you have the Galaxy S(1) and not the Galaxy S2.
Go here.....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1379853
for all the guides you need to modify your device.....
But as @gsstudios says, first you need to flash your device with an official firmware.....no use trying to root if your device don't boot.....

perfect, thanks

I had a clone s4 some time ago called No1 S6, after some time its internal sd card got broken... i do not recommend it to root and flash custom rom to that phones.
it had an mtk6582 which was a midrange SoC while that now its one of the crappiest chipsets..
however, clone mediatek phones do not have a "download mode", so odin does not work as well
You need to get the real name of the phone, i think there was a youtuber who reviewed a clone galaxy a9 his youtubechannel name was "mayiandjay" you could contact him via email for the devices name.
Then search on needrom.com for a rom for that phone and flash it via SP flashtool. When flashing a rom to a mtk phone with spflashtool the phone just needs to be turned off, no need to get into any mode ;
